I saw pictures of the coffee slushy and it looked so good and cute that I wanted one too. Sumner is almost ending and today was pretty warm so I decided to go get one. It is pretty expensive but it's worth the price! It cost me around $9 with tax and all. The slushy has tahini, oat milk, and cold brew coffee in it. It looks very cool in the cup. It's brown and white all over the place! Very nice design this slushy makes. I drank it really slow to enjoy this slushy and it was very refreshing. Not overly sweet at all either! It's like mildly bitter sweet! Tastes so good! I will get another one next time I pass by here. It's also cool the lid has a huge opening for the big straw.

I'm not sure how this place doesn't have a full five stars. The staff is very friendly. I am a big breakfast person and I go out to eat often a very good judge of food. This place has the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had in New York City. By far the best scrambled eggs I've ever tasted. Highly recommend recommended very unique menu, traditional, breakfast items, and sandwiches, but everything has a twist.

I was skeptical about an overpriced sandwich place but it was great. The ice cafe slush was refreshing and sweet. I also got the BEC&L on an everything bagel (not pictured) and that was great as well - loved the house sauce on this. Only gripe was it was a bit overpriced (as with a lot of things in the city), the meal ran me about $25. They also don't have any seating, except for a measly two chairs out on the storefront. A lot of people just end up loitering at nearby stores or stoops.

Finally, after all this time of peering at the speckled oat milk tahini iced coffee slushie on socials, the stars aligned (meaning the traffic wasn't crazy for once) and I sucked that caffeinated bev down full knowing I had to wake up early for work the next morning. There were crunchy ice crystal moments, tempered by the smooth and bitter (contradicting?), nutty tahini. And no, I'm not an animal and I didn't pair my coffee with their Perfect Tuna Melt--the tuna was enjoyed at home after the cheeses had cooled down a little. The sandwich travels well on griddled seedy rye but for $15, I'm finding that I can make a tuna sandwich just as good. Dollar for dollar, the tuna melt here, the tuna sandwich at Radio Bakery, the tunaberry and yasha at Court Street Grocers, and the tuna melt and tunaberry at S&P lunch, and the tuna melt at Golden Diner are all great options if you're unable to source great bread and tuna. At $15, the Edith's tuna melt is the second cheapest of the listed sandwiches (Radio Bakery checks in at $14.50, but is not grilled). The totkes are worth trying however you can probs skip the Cooper's sharp cheese sauce. Their cheese sauce is made from scratch and could benefit from a touch more of sodium citrate and a longer cook--the sauce cooled down and felt a little grainy.

Easily one of my new favorite breakfast spots in the city -- the Sephardi Wrap was delicious, super filling and I appreciated the flexibility to sub avocado to make it vegetarian. The Latke Tots were super crispy, would definitely get the share!

Edith's was a hit! We stopped here for an early lunch after a late night and I absolutely would come back. The line was pretty small despite the place being packed, because they move fast. A lot of people carrying out, or eating outside or around in the neighborhood, as there's limited seating inside. First, they are known for their frozen cafe slushie which is basically a frozen coffee. The texture was great and something about frozen coffee is perfect for a hangover. Then, we split the chicken tahini Caesar crunch wrap which was very unique and refreshing. It was like a chicken Caesar but with tahini and kale instead of caesar salad. I wish we had the appetite to try a bagel sandwich with latke, but not this time. But, because it was so good and had fast service, we will be back!

Had the Edith & the Sephardi, also tried the coffee tahini slush, latke and choco chip cookies. The wait for food was about 30mins after ordering so we came back. We enjoyed the sandwiches but the Edith's bread was a bit too crunchy and greasy for my liking, but their pastrami is good (meaty and not too salty). The Sephardi is worth the hype though, the exterior is super flakey, reminds me of a scallion pancake. I would pass on the coffee tahini slush next time. The cookies were soooo thin, very crispy, chewy & buttery, I would get again. Would def come back to try more items on their menu!

It is a very small shop, you order, and I would say stand outside. They will call your name and/or you would need to go inside to check and pick up your order. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and it was good! The sauce that they had on a side was a nice touch, and I also picked up some of the tabasco sauce packets for some spice! There are only 3 seating areas outside. The only "negative" thing is that, I think $14-15 for that sandwich is a bit pricey! Other than that, it was really filling.

Wanted to love this place. Don't know that it hit the mark. Got excited by the Israeliness of it but the final product got lost in translation. The menu is really fun and creative and maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. But I will say the ice cafe really was the best part of my meal. The tchina added an extra fullness to an already over the top beverage but in a good way. I will come back solely for that and try a malawach sandwich instead of a bagel. I got the middle eastern, being middle eastern myself I expected something more of in your face with loads of different spices, seasonings, and flavors. It all sort of fell flat in a heavy heart attack inducing cream (I don't know from what), egg and cheese? It was supposed to be a shakshuka, what I received was an omelet with a few tomatoes and pounds of (what was supposed to be garlic aioli) mayonnaise and farmers cheese. I honestly couldn't eat it after one bite but was hungry so ate half of it and felt sick for the next few minutes and threw the other half out. I really really want to try this place again because I think there's a lot of potential. Hoping for a better experience was just extremely disappointed the first time around.

WOW such an amazing spot for breakfast/lunch. The Sephardi breakfast wrap has a clutch around my cold heart and it's not letting go. It's the perfect balance of savory, spicy, creamy, gooey and flakey. As the kids say, it slaps. This will be making it onto my top bites of the year without a doubt. Also, don't skip the slushies. They taste even better than they look.

    chickpea crunch wrap and totkes

there were a bunch of customers waiting for their orders when we arrived at around noon. i was really excited to order the mushreuben but was informed that it had been discontinued, to my dismay. i ended up ordering the chickpea crunch wrap instead, which was pretty good. it took about ~15 minutes for them to prepare my order, and we were told to wait outside as the shop is quite small. i don't have much to say about the wrap besides that it was well put together and i think its nice that edith's offers a healthier and also i believe vegan option for those who may have dietary restrictions or want a healthier option. i also got the totkes which were very crispy and delicious with the dips. i'm still sad that the mushreuben was discontinued because it looked delicious but i was pretty happy with the chickpea crunch wrap.

Nothing we had was inherently bad, but nothing blew us away either. It was pretty expensive too being about $40 for the 3 things we got. Totkes needed salt, sauce Carried these. Sephardi Wrap was fine but just didn't get us excited. Bagel SEC was just fine as well. I will say it's very athstetically pleasing food from pics online and in person but just didn't live up to us! I mean you should 100% try this place for yourself if you are in the area!

Bacon, egg, cheese, AND latke?! Hit the spot. And the staff nicely made a fresh pot of coffee for me. No seating though.

Even though there is a line, you do not feel rushed or pressured to order quickly. On this visit we ordered plain croissant, chocolate croissant-fresh out of the oven, rhubarb croissant, black forest pastry and brown butter corn cake. The chocolate croissant was amazing. It is triple chocolate and cocoa powder is in the dough. It is filled with milk and dark chocolate, so creamy. The plain croissant was flaky and light. The brown butter corn cake was crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft and moist. The Black Forest croissant is a seasonal offering. It is made with their Triple Chocolate Croissant filled with chocolate cake and sour cherries and topped with mascarpone cream , Rhubarb & Custard Croissant . It is tart and sweet. The rhubarb is roasted and complimented with sweet vanilla custard. They all were excellent. Each were about $8. Highly recommend and don't let the line deter you .
