Worked on a quote for months getting our business front end redone, only to have them reschedule at 9 o'clock the night before, citing that some of the materials did not arrive on time. Then the day before our rescheduled date they tell us they are backing out. Citing that payment upon completion wont work because we may not be happy with the end result, etc...... They agreed to our terms months prior. But then cancel last minute? This is extremely unprofessional on their part, this project has been in the works for months. There is no reason for them to set up a date and then pull out last minute, we devoted additional time and resources into the prep work for this job, already ordered the checks for payment to insure they would be here when the project is finished, and shifted our staff and working hours to accommodate the closure of the front entrance. If you are worried about the final quality of your work affecting payment, maybe you should hire and train better staff, or not offer the products or service that you cannot competently complete. I think they under bid to get the job and then realized that they weren't making enough money. As in other Reviews i've seen, John has no showed and blamed others for the work falling out. Unhappy with re-grout job they did. The color of the grout is not a match to the rest of my tile and it really sticks out in a bad way

Used vendor to polish limestone, around 1300 sf. The company quoted full restoration including polish to mirror finish, filling in grout, fixing chips and applying 2-3x coats of sealer. After job was completed, there were many areas that appeared matte and stood out completely from rest. Chip repairs were also very poor and didn't match. Moreover, it was clear that little sealer was used since water immediately gets absorbed into stone. Manager came back out and verified issue and promised rework a month ago. I have been chasing the company and manager since without any response. Will submit complaint to California contractors state license board. read more

We hired Radiant to do work in two parts of our home, and John gave us the date they'd show up. That date came and went, and they never showed. When we reached out to find out why, John told us that they were too busy on our appointment date (but never bothered to tell us that in advance). He then set up another appointment. This time, we reached out in advance to confirm that they were coming, and John said that they were But then they didn't. When we followed up again, John blamed others at the company, saying that someone was supposed to call us to tell us that they were cancelling for a second time. He then promised to get back to us the following Monday to schedule a THIRD appointment date, but then never even did that. When we contacted him to find out what his excuse was this time, he ghosted us altogether. John wanted us to feel bad for him because, he claimed, COVID and the high cost of living in California made doing business here difficult. John sent me a contract for $7465 to polish concrete floors and we both agreed verbally, were going to sign the paperwork on Monday, the start date. I trusted him and canceled another contractor who would have charged about the same and would have started Saturday, because John was so very nice. I told John I urgently needed this done and John texted me "We will come through for you". On the start date, John showed up with his partner Marcos, whom he said is the "project manager". They talked for about an hour and kept telling me to wait. Then said they wanted $10,000 to $11,000 instead of the $7465 to do the exact same job. They wasted my time and may have thought I was now so desperate I'd pay 50% more than agreed on. I told them to leave and accept the delay in order to hire someone else. read more

Long Story Short: Our marble floors looked terrible. We purchased a house and the prior owner did not maintain the travertine marble floors well. We hired Radiant Stone Care to restore the floors. There is a huge improvement in the appearance of the floors - the floors are shiny (we can see our reflections when we walk across the floor) and many of the holes / cracks have been professionally repaired (See before and after photos). One of our greatest concerns was large holes where the prior owner used grout as a filler - they were unsightly black holes in the marble floor. The crew dug out the grout and refilled the holes with a color matched epoxy - this has made these holes nearly invisible to the casual visitor (see before and after photos). Radiant Stone Care sent out a crew of 5 Technicians - they were polite and professional (and patient with all of my questions). We considered replacing the flooring, but after seeing the quality of the restoration, we have changed our mind. The restoration has extended the life of our flooring by several years at a fraction of the cost of new floors. I highly recommend contacting Radiant Stone Care should one have the need to refinish their marble floors. Long Story Long: We purchased a house recently and the travertine marble floors were in terrible condition. The tiles looked dull, had numerous holes, scratches, stains and imperfections. In the kitchen area, there were numerous big holes, where the former owner used black grout to fill the holes. Needless to say, they were ugly and really ruined the look of the kitchen. We were considering replacing the floors with new ceramic tiles, but after seeing a Radiant Stone Care truck on the road and reading their services, I decided to give them a call. Radiant Stone Care sent out a couple of Technicians to provide an estimate. They measured all of the areas that required restoration and gave a detailed estimate. They offered one of their technicians to come out and take three different tiles and resurface them in three different finishes (honed, matte or polished), so we could see what the final product could provide. They came out on a different day and performed the sample and also looked at some of our cracks and holes in more detail. Based on the sample, we decided to go with the polished finish. On the day of the resurfacing, the crew arrived exactly on time. The crew was led by Junior and consisted of Marco, Michael, Alphonso, George and Manuel. Marco was one of the technicians who came and provided the samples on our tiles, so he was already familiar with our floors. We spent a few minutes reviewing the finish and going over the tiles that caused the greatest concern. The crew then got to work clearing out our furniture and preparing for the restoration. The crew was professional and polite. I often pestered the crew with questions so I could understand what was involved in the restoration process. They were patient and polite with my questions. The restoration is a time consuming, manual process. I often saw the crew on their hands and knees looking for holes in the tiles, filling holes with color matched epoxy, manually cleaning the grout lines, etc. The big black holes in the kitchen particularly required the technician to dig out the old grout and prepare the tiles for restoration. They then brought out the big machines - first sanding the tiles with a coarse diamond sandpaper and then with a fine diamond sandpaper. Finally, they buffed the floors to a luminescent shine. It took about 8 to 9 hours for a crew of 5 to resurface about 1,100 square feet of Travertine. The results are impressive. The moribund floor sprang to life. The tiles with the big black grout stains were transformed (see pictures). Any thoughts on replacing the flooring quickly vanished from our minds as we thought about other house projects that we could now entertain with our home improvement budget. Junior gave us instructions on how to maintain the floor, so the shiny surface will last. He also provided us a bottle of Ph neutral cleaner to help maintain the floor. I highly recommend giving Radiant Stone Care a call if one is in the market for restoring their marble floor. I am not in the habit of writing reviews, but I have never experienced such a disrespectful company. I contacted these people for a quote on our HOA's courtyard deck, which needs demo and repairs and waterproofing. I was assured that they could handle every aspect of our job. I was so relieved because we've had a hard time getting a quote. I took time from work to meet Jahir at our property for a walk-through. He said we'd have the quote in a day. I waited 2 days and then emailed the company to ask when we might get the quote. Jen answered and apologized for the delay, saying she would alert their estimate department. A couple of days later I emailed her again to ask when we could expect an answer as we are very anxious about getting our numbers put together so we can get the assessment going. No reply. No reply another two days later when I followed up yet again. I emailed Jahir. NOTHING. I texted the number on the card he'd given me. NOTHING. I called Radiant's number and spoke with John, who assured me that he would call me back by the end of the next day. Nope, he didn't. Twelve days after the walk-through, I got John on the phone again. So much background noise I could barely hear him. He mumbled something about how they couldn't do the job and something about "materials." What does that even mean? I told him I couldn't hear him and he said he would call me back in a couple of hours. I BEGGED him not to forget because at this point I just need an explanation from a professional as to why this is so complicated. He promised me that he would call. I am a plumbing contractor and sometimes need to partner with other contractors to complete jobs. I talked with John today at 11:25 AM to see if his company could resize opening in a granite countertop for one of my customers. I was installing and Overmount sink in need of three quarters of an inch cut from two sides of the opening. One cat would have been 21 inches long and another cart would have been 32 inches long. John originally quoted me $290 over the phone and said he could have one of his technicians complete the job after 5 PM. He asked me to send him a text message with a photo and told me he would reach out to one of his technicians to confirm. I sent John a photo at 11:34 AM, but did not get a response until after 7:06pm. John had sent me a text message to let me know that this simple cut did not meet the requirements for his minimum service charge of $290. He also let me know that a technician could come the following day at 3 PM to complete an estimate. As a contractor, I know it can be challenging to provide estimates over the phone. I also understand the need to have a technician see the job in order to understand what is needed. This was not a complex cut and did not require any finishing or polishing. Due to a lack of response from John's company, we were able to have another contractor complete the work. The job took 20 minutes to complete and cost much less then John's original estimate. According to him, he would have charged more than $290 to complete the work. From my very little experience with them, this company is overpriced and lacks professionalism. I'd NEVER schedule a 4-6 hour appointment on a Saturday (& we were going out of town). Anyway, they came Monday. Did a majority of the work. The following Friday they finished. Guys were all nice. Second crew was very efficient. Granite counters were cleaned well. A repair was done on marble, which looks wonderful. Their caulking, edge grouting, sink & glass edge seal is just okay (sloppy). It would take 2 days to strip and seal my tile floor. He explained in detail the services that would be included and was willing to negotiate on the price. We had an amazing experience with this company. They are extremely professional -- with each appointment, they arrived either early or on the dot. (This was crazy to us since it came right after an attempted appointment with a different company who never even showed up!) These guys gave me an excellent price for restoring my travertine floors, and the results were better than I could have hoped for. When I moved into my house, there were tons of holes and scratches and missing grout between tiles, and the previous owners had "polished" the floor with some cheap waxy looking polishing formula. It really looked awful. John's crew came in and fixed everything and made it all look beautiful again. They stripped the waxy look away and polished the stone so that it had a natural sheen to it.
