Highly recommended. I've done two sets of wheels with Embee. Really appreciate getting help from Pat. He's super knowledgeable and a great to work with. Great quality, lots of options for colors and finishes, and really fast turn around the. Looking forward to bringing my next project to Embee Performance. Thank-you!!!

Just picked up from the shop. So shiny!

I took my truck's tow hooks here to be powder coated red. The guys here were more than awesome. They answered all the questions I had and even made some suggestions on which shade of red I should go with. The turn around time was less than a day. The finished product was absolutely amazing. Quality of the powder coating is second to none. Once installed on my truck, they look phenomenal. I couldn't be happier. I would definitely come back for all my powder coating needs.

Powder coated frame, wheels, handle bars, ... everything. Thanks!

Thank you for all the help with powder coating my bike! Turned out great and quick turnaround! Great attention to detail and knowledgeable about bikes. Will definitely be back for my next project! Sincerely, Brian

I'm disappointed. My fenders were powder coated last year. When we pointed out the gaps in the metal assemblies seems, we were told, powder coating cannot penetrate the weld gaps. So now about a year later, it's rusted and powder coating will soon be more of a detriment than a spray can would have been.

After calling around to multiple local south county powder coating shops, Embee was by far the most reasonable. Pat was very helpful over the phone and even remembered me when I came in to drop off my bicycle frame. Pat was also able to make a custom color to meet my needs and I was very happy to pickup my bicycle only four days later. I'll definitely be using Embee for all of my future projects.

Not super impressed with the quality of work. Started off with having to pay minimum ($80) for just an exhaust tip canister; but that's their policy so can't blame them for that. However, prep on canister was shabby at best as was not smoothed out before placing ceramic coating so you can see marks from previous powder coating. Was told ceramic turn around time was 7-10 days so I was excited to get a call only 3 days after dropping off exhaust. However, now I see why it only took 3 days. I would have rather waited a few extra days for some time and care in the prep work as for me to remove now would involve having to ruin a freshly-packed canister. Don't mind paying for quality, but when it's not there and you're still paying for it it's a bit frustrating. Don't know if I'd go back. May find a shop here in Orange next time powder coating is needed.

Over spray in upper right. Bits of blue tape near the 7 o'clock position of the left cylinder.

I had an exhaust manifold ceramic coated by Embee last year and it turned out great. I came back to use them for powder coating my brake calipers and I had a really bad experience this time around. The initial conversation / start of the process was positive when I dropped off my calipers. Eric answered all of my questions and listened to what I had to say. I left my calipers with him along with a bag of my old piston seals. I recommended that they use the old seals as a masking template since they are consumable and I have brand new ones to install. Before I left, they told me it would take 1.5 - 2 weeks to complete. When I picked up the calipers, I immediately noticed a problem with the spraying. They clearly did not use my old seals as a masking template and sprayed onto the lip sealing surface of my cylinders. Additionally, there was leftover blue tape trapped under powder coat and small amounts of over spray inside the piston bore. I asked the cashier if I should be concerned about this. She said, "no it's fine, we do it like this all the time." When I tried assembling the brand new seals, they did not fit over the lip. The powder coated surfaced added over a millimeter of thickness to the lip and the seal would not sit over it. I returned the calipers to Embee for rework as it was unacceptable like this. I reiterated that they should use my old seals as a masking template in order to avoid spraying in places they shouldn't be spraying in. I also alternatively suggested to just not spray the inside of the caliper entirely. Another 2 weeks went by and they charged me again for service upon pick up. This time, the insides of the caliper were left as unfinished cast iron like I requested. However, there was still over spray from the masking. It didn't matter to me since I was going to use VHT over it and my old seals to spray the insides myself. My second attempt at assembling my calipers was again halted due to over spray onto the threads of my bleeder valve. I will need to either use a thread chaser to clean out the powder coating and risk getting pieces of powder coat inside my caliper, or have them redone somewhere else. I don't want to return my calipers back to Embee for a third session of rework and service charges. A few other notes: - There seems to be a lack of communication within the company or something. From my experience, the front desk, cashier, labor in the back are not coordinated. Front desk originally quoted me $80/caliper, but cashier charged me only $60/caliper. Not a bad thing, but something was off. Both times when my calipers were complete, I never received a phone call telling me it was done. I had to check in to see if they were done. - I notice that they like to get to the invoice first, before showing you the finished product/service. On both experiences with different cashiers, they presented me with an invoice and pen to sign first. I had to ask them to bring me my calipers first before I sign off on the work and hand over my credit card.

My Mazda developed a loud rattling and knocking noise underneath and no one could figure out why. I went to eight different shops. Each one gave me a different guess: heat shields, engine mounts, catalytic converter, "play in the differential," you name it. Nothing made sense, and the noise was so annoying at red lights and/or with foot on the brake . Finally, one honest shop (Thanh Auto in Garden Grove) spotted the real culprit: a big clean crack in the aluminum mounting bracket attached to the differential housing. Every mechanic I spoke with afterward told me the same thing: "Only solution is to drop the entire differential and replace it." Translation: very expensive. Thanh's expert ( Keith) suggested welding the crack, but every welding shop I contacted said the same thing -- "No space. We'd have to remove the differential before welding. Almost as costly as replacing the whole diff." Then I found Jose at OC Fabrication on Yelp. Within minutes of sending him a photo, he replied ...fast, professional, and confident. He said it might be doable without removing the diff, but he needed to inspect in person. He even gave me two honest estimates: a higher price if the diff needed to come out, and a much lower one if he could reach it in place. He squeezed me in after hours the very next day. He and his welder Lorenzo crawled under the car, inspected the crack, and confirmed they could do it without removing anything. They carefully jacked the differential to realign the broken ear, cleaned the aluminum, welded it beautifully, and then reinforced it with additional metal. All in under 90 minutes. When we test drove the car afterward -- night and day. Smooth. Quiet. Solid. The rattling and knocking that haunted me for a weeek? Gone. Jose told me straight: most shops wouldn't even attempt this kind of repair. But he and Lorenzo took it on with skill, confidence, pride in their craft, and real customer care. They solved a problem that eight other shops shrugged at. I can't recommend these guys enough. Professional, talented, honest, and genuinely passionate about their work. Bravo, Jose and Lorenzo. Many thanks. Bonus: Their shop is amazing -- full of unique custom fabrication projects, metalwork, and creative builds. Kudos for their skill and craftsmanship and care.

I got in touch with Jordan at Naddour's Custom Metalworks to find out about getting it repaired. She spoke with their manager at their manufacturing center and discovered the same parts used with the older door were no longer available. The good news was updated parts were available at a very reasonable price. They would have to just slightly modified for our older door. Great! I booked the repair appointment ASAP and Edgar came from the factory to do the repairs. He showed up at the house and was very nice and professional. He got to work quickly with removing the old parts and installing the new ones. Thankfully, this repair could be done without removing one side or both of the iron doors. He modified the parts, installed them within a little over 2 hours, the repairs were completed. Both doors open and close tightly again. I'm planning on buying an extra set of top and bottom latches for the door, in case I need them later on or the next owner needs them in the future. It was great working with Jordan, Edgar and Carlo at Naddour's Custom Metalworks. Everyone was really friendly, professional and very helpful with getting the doors fixed as soon as possible.
