This is my second time going to Orange County Powder Coating and once again they knocked it out of the park. The first time they powder coated my front bumper and did a phenomenal job, so I came back to have them do my rear bumper. Just like the first time, they got it done quickly and the quality of the work came out great. I'm super happy with the results and their customer service is top-notch as well. It's always nice finding a shop that does quality work and gets things done right. If you need anything powder coated, I'd definitely recommend Orange County Powder Coating. I'll definitely be coming back for any future projects! read more

Great service. Beautiful work. They sand blasted and powder coated a vintage glass top table and 2 chairs & they look brand new. Family business and the father, Mark (I think- I am terrible at remembering names) picked up & delivered and was very nice. Thanks, to all. read more

I had 3 bed bars for my truck powder coated with OC Powder Coating. Unfortunately, 2 years later they were showing rust. I contacted them and they fully covered it under warranty. For no charge, they took them back and re-did the job, including a zinc primer that was never part of the original job/cost. Furthermore, their staff was nothing but nice about everything. It's very refreshing to know that some people still stand behind their work. I have also had other parts powder coated with them that have had no problems. All of their work looks great to me. I will happily continue to support them with my business. read more

Needed to get my brand new rims powder coated for my lucid, they quoted me $85.00-125.00 which i thought it would be $125.00 each, well they surprised me and only charged $90.00 which i thought was extremely fair, most companies would have held me to the $125.00 amount. They finished the job in less than 2 days and I couldn't be happier, GREAT HONEST AND INCREDIBLE WORKMANSHIP THANKS GUYS read more

I last had powder coating done as a car guy about 40 years ago, and had no idea where to turn for quality work these days. OCPC is just a few miles from my home and they had no problem with my small job (motorcycle engine guard bars). They are perfect! Coating is uniform, full coverage, looks great and was ready in just a couple days for a reasonable price. Highly recommended! read more

Honest and forthright. I took a couple small pieces from an outdoor grill to them for sand blasting and powder coating. They told me up front, before I even went down there, these may not turn out well, but we can give it a try and hope it works out. They quoted me a fair price over the phone. I dropped off the parts and over a span of a couple weeks they sand blasted, baked, coated, baked again, and coated them again. I checked in periodically for updates and they said they'd keep trying and would keep me posted. They contacted me after their final attempt and said, sorry, we tried, but because of the composition of the metal (pot metal), the pieces just don't look good. So they said please come pick them up when you have a chance, no charge, since they turned out so poorly. I showed up and the parts were in much better condition than I expected, I was quite pleased. But they said no charge because they don't meet our standards. I asked them to take a few bucks anyway because I appreciated the time and effort, and the parts were still nicer than I expected. They offered some tips on how to paint and finish them so they would look good when I was done. After that, I said thanks and took the parts home and finished them myself. What a good, honest deal. They were honest up front, set realistic expectations, tried their best, the final parts didn't meet their standards and because of that, they didn't want to charge me. Can't beat that. read more

I had a great one stop experience at OCP getting a set of 2004 Ford Ranger rims blasted and coated. The rims looked amazing, they were completed ahead of the promised date, and the price was very reasonable. I was very happy with the fast turnaround time and quality of the work when I had two sets of wheels done recently. OC powder coating has it together. At first when I walked in I was slightly worried because the shop isn't specifically set up around doing wheels and they obviously do whole other types of bigger commercial projects. My fears could not have been further from the truth. I dropped off 8 beat up wheels and three days later I had them back looking better then brand new. I had some ideas of specific colors I wanted when I walked in but after describing the look I was going for with the staff they steered me in a slightly different direction and they were right because I ended up with exactly what I wanted. My wheels all look great and now it is like having two brand new sets it's awesome! I should also mention that their prices are extremely competitive and they seem like trustworthy individuals with a nice facility . Try them out you will not regret it. read more

What a great community-friendly business OC Plating is! I discovered them for the first time a month ago, when, during a bathroom remodel, our faucet hole was drilled into the countertop too close to the sink (my fault). The easiest remedy was having a fabricator make a larger faucet baseplate (escutcheon, for faucet experts). The faucet store employee said it would probably cost $50 to have it made + $35 for chrome plating. It did cost $50 for the fabrication, but OC Plating quoted only $25 for the chrome. I was happy with that...BUT...even happier when I picked it up and Chris said, "What is this for?" When I told him, he said, "No charge!" I was shocked. THIS IS A BUSINESS WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS - NOT JUST ABOUT $$. Then, two weeks later, our tile guy mounted another wall-mount faucet back plate too-high, so it covered part of the chair rail over the backsplash. Because I hadn't specifically said I wanted it under the chair rail, it was another remedy I was responsible for. (remodel = learning experience) It was either cutting into the living room wall behind the bathroom, cutting the already-laid backsplash open, or...heading back to OC Plating to see if they could cut the back plate. Enter Frank...from the surf rack business next to OC Plating. Dan (Chris's brother I think) walked me over there to see if Frank could help with this, since it wasn't really something OC Plating did. Frank said he could help. I asked how much...$20. There is no taking advantage of customers here. Then, Dan took care of the plating at a very reasonable cost. It was ready on time, looks beautiful, and so do my faucets! What a fantastic business this is. I will always remember their kindness and will definitely think of them whenEVER I need chrome plating done. Thank you OC Plating! You guys are the BEST! P.S. They had no idea I would leave them a YELP review. Even when Chris did the faucet escutcheon at no charge, he never suggested I leave him a review. They are just plain nice people! read more

I came to get an estimate for some chrome parts, but the powder coating guys said the Chrome people are never there after 1:00pm, and they're the only ones able to give estimates. (Really?...no chrome people after lunch?) So I went to another chrome place down the street who ended up being extra nice, everyone was working, and gave me an estimate at a great price and time frame. read more

When dropping off parts always, ALWAYS go through Chris. He's there early, from about 5am to 1pm. Pickups can be done later with other staff. I can't compare OC to other plating companies but their end result looks amazing deep and rich when compared to most OEM I've seen. Their prep is thorough, but any unique details about your order need to be specified with Chris on drop-off to ensure you get the exact result you expect. Prices are not low, but you're paying for quality here. The only small knock I could give the business is that they never quite deliver on a estimated deadline. BUT I never pushed them to meet a specific date because my project is long-term, so my experience is not typical. I suspect, based on the large orders I see there, that they normally meet their target dates when it is important to the customer. They also have a powdercoat division and I look forward to doing business with them at some future point. read more

We wanted to change our tub/shower hardware from brass to chrome. first and last time using this company. sent 13 items to get chromed for my Harley, they told me 2 weeks, it took 2months, then when i did get my items back, you can see the copper color on some side of my items, you can see where they tied the wire to my parts, and still charged me full price, not good, i told all my buddies not to use them, read more

They did the bumpers for my 49 Chevrolet Fleetline Sedan, I am very, very happy with thier work.

This is a great place to go if you are looking to get bent over. I called for a price to have some chrome work done, agreed to the quote, and left work to go and drop off the pieces (very simple and straight forward work - not intricate detail. When I arrived I was told that my quote was way off and was given a handful of "excuses" why the quote was wrong. I was quoted by one of the family member, Chris. Apparently, Chris is not privy to the pricing information. The big guy at the front desk over-rides the family member/owner?? I did not leave my pieces there to be chromed due to the reaming they were trying to give me. I have had work done there before and the finished product is good, but the gouging tactic I experienced today is straight bs. Nobody deserves that treatment. If you decide to use this place, take your items in for a quote and get it in writing. The owners quote over the phone is not reliable, from my experience. By the way, the items I was having chromed were brand new, they needed no repair and Chris knew up front what he was dealing with. I feel they quoted me one price to get me in there (already higher than other places I was quoted but I went there for convenience) and then when I show for the work they change the price. Unacceptable. read more
