I delivered, on the way to work, an extra set of OEM off-road wheels to eventually swap for my overland build. They are also doing my 5th wheel. Within a week, I picked them up, as promised. I found this place through reviews and decided to give it a shot. I was initially going to take my car to a place in Anaheim, but Beach Cities was down the street from my house. I texted pictures to R.B and he responded quick! He gave me the price breakdown and honestly, for the work they do it's worth every penny. I left my car with R.B's team and got my car back in just a few days. They powder coated all 4 of my rims AND fixed the curb rash. I also had them paint my rear calipers to match the ones I have in the front. I'm VERY happy with the results and the owner responds super quick to your messages and that kept me at peace knowing my car was being taken care of. These reviews are lies. it's only two people work there one guy through the powder coating. He's cool to me to be honest the owner is bullshit. all I wanted is for my rims to be sandblasted. He took almost 2 weeks. Until I went up there to check on my Rams and he did them that same day and then didn't even sandblast all the paint off my ramps and still was trying to charge me 400 And then the reason why I have to go pick them up he waited 45 minutes that same day to tell me they close at half a day so I had to come pick them up. I had to leave my job and go there. He never Call you he will text you everything about his place is just bad business. I try to give them business and my clients. Tell me the same thing he's just bad business. But I would tell you this I know a guy and he's on Instagram and his Facebook. He does gold and rose gold, sandblasting, and polish, and any other color you need on Instagram. @troyisHollywood he's real good these people right here though is bullshit like I said the guy that work in there he's cool that respect for him but the owner and everyone else is bullshit. My experience with Beach Cities Powdercoating started with a call to get a quote. I got a voicemail as with many other shops I called, but the difference here is that I got a text back pretty quickly asking how they could help me. I needed a bunch of vintage car suspension parts powder coated semigloss black and I was texted back what I felt was a very fair quote back. I dropped the parts off on a Tuesday and was shown a display of wheels powdercoated in different levels of black gloss which was awesome because I was pretty particular about what I wanted. I got a text back the following Monday that the parts were ready. The parts were wrapped in plastic to protect them, and after inspection I can say I'm extremely pleased with how they turned out. All the threads were masked off, and the finish is smooth, even and feels thick and substantial. Overall, a strong recommend from a picky customer! read more
