As the result of a flood in a downstairs bedroom, I needed to have the tar paper replaced on 3 of the walls. The whole experience has been beyond stressful! Of all the contractors I have had to work with, Hunter was the most professional person I have worked with in the 50 years I have lived in Irvine. He is the only contractor I worked with who actually answers his phone and returns messages within 20 minutes. He is always supportive and answers questions with patience and thoroughness. The people he employs are courteous without exception and they do a top notch job. I received 5 bids for that work and his was the most reasonable. He makes it very easy to make payments and is quick to send receipts for payments. I can't say enough about this company! read more

Excellent Work! Warren Lath & Plaster did a great job from start to finish. The workmanship was excellent, the crew was professional, and they paid close attention to the details. They completed the work properly and left everything clean when they were finished. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Warren Lath & Plaster to anyone needing stucco or plaster work. Great company and great work! read more

I hired Warren Lath & Plaster due to the good reviews and really good price. It was one of my worst mistakes. They don't do quality stucco work. Even if on the outside it looks fine, internally it's a disaster waiting to happen. It was also initially estimated to take about a week and ended up taking 4 times. They also left everything open while working on it and did not seal up the openings. I had to pay someone else to seal it as it was going to rain. Now I didn't have them fix it up because I just don't trust their work and don't want to waste my time. If you value jobs done correctly and value your time, avoid this company. It's because of this company that I am now suspicious of companies with high yelp ratings. Look at the picture of what their stucco repair looked like on the other side of the wall. Even if it looks fine on the outside, just be aware that you'll experience problems because what is not hidden from view is not done correctly. read more

After engaging Warren a second time, I'm even more impressed. How they managed to match both the plaster and the paint with patches, I'll never know. Maybe they are magic? Beyond the quality of the work, everyone I've engaged with has been so communicative, knowledgeable, proactive and kind. In this latest project, Noe and the team started work so quietly, I didn't even know they'd arrived! They did extensive work and somehow left our landscaping in perfect condition. If there were 10 stars, they would have earned them. (Thank you Gents!) read more

Hunter was very friendly, responsive and the work of his team was exceptional! His price was very reasonable. His painting crew also delivered quality work. In preparation for getting our house painted, we decided to have several large areas of our stucco repaired and patched. I requested estimates from three different companies, and Hunter was the only one who showed up when he said he would. Not only that, but his estimate was reasonable, straightforward, and clear. Hunter and his team arrived the very next morning and got straight to work. When I got home from work, the repairs were already completed and everything had been cleaned up. The entire process was simple and stress-free from start to finish. I was especially impressed with how well the texture matched the existing wall. This was the most important part for me, and they nailed it. If you hire Hunter and his team, you'll be in good hands. read more

Warren Plastering delivered excellent service from start to finish. They arrived on time for the quote, started as scheduled, and worked continuously until the job was complete. The crew was professional, clean, and detail-oriented. They stucco'd two block walls, replaced the crawl space vents and repaired several cracked stucco areas around the house and garage. The results look seamless and high-quality. The price was fair for the work. Thank you, for a job well done! read more

Warren Lath & Plaster did a great job doing much needed stucco repairs on our home. Hunter showed up on time for the estimate, was competitive in his price and was able to start on schedule. Hi stucco crew were very polite and professional and did a very good job with the stucco repairs. They were also very good about cleaning up at the end of the day! The paint crew was equally good and we are very happy with the finished product. I would call them again for future stucco needs! read more

Replacing one exterior wall of stucco required more time and layers of work than I had realized. I saw them do a very thorough job and am totally pleased with the results. Equally important, there was good communication and response. Hunter Warren checked in for feedback, and when I made a request it was immediately resolved. read more

Would not recommend. Very poor communication. Hired to stucco and smooth coat our large brick fireplace and new home. Paid $3000, to end up with a fireplace cracks all over it, Hunter told me he could patch it and would sand it down. He showed up to do the patching and did not stand it down, left with veiny, lumps all over the fireplace, and then said he would have to charge us $1500 to repair. Try to put the blame on us because we had drywall added in the other room, when he knew that this was going to be done and did not warn us against the possibility of cracking the fireplace. read more

We had the best experience with the team. The owner, Hunter, was very quick to reply to my request for a quote and was able to walk me through the process and give a competitive quote for repair our stucco. He was the only company that not only was able to repair the stucco, but also paint the entire wall! The work was very well done, and communication throughout was excellent. read more

Contacted several companies regarding stucco patch work for an electrical panel upgrade done at my home. The quality and value done by Hunter and his team were top notch and would definitely recommend for all your stucco and plastering needs. The step by step process was well communicated throughout the entire process (except when they showed up at 7am and startled my wife when they entered the backyard). The stucco preparation, waterproofing, lath, mortar, stucco and paint to match was spot on. Even the electrical company was impressed and asked for Hunter's number for future referrals. Hunter even patched up the holes from the awning I removed above a bedroom at my home. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Warren Lath and Plaster. read more

Warren Lath & Plaster plastered the side of my home, after I had a new panel put in. The pricing and work were super competitive and professional. There is a big ugly gray mark on my house now because I did ask them not to paint it as we just purchased the home and are looking to repaint anyways. The portion he did is an eyesore, until you get up next to it. Lol, everyone who comes over notices it from a far, then when they get up close to it, they all same the same thing, that it was a great job, pattern matches, and you can tell it was a professional job. Lol, so in short he did the job exactly how I asked and honestly it's been a great talking point for visitors! And because of him, I can't wait to paint my home. I would definitely use them again. read more

Outstanding professional. Very knowledgeable, and he explains things very well. We plan to have Hunter re-stucco our whole house. He hasn't started, yet, since we've been dealing with stucco issues from a different contractor, and we're worried the contractor will mess up Hunter's work since the contractor is stuccoing a wall connected to our house. Basically, we're worried if Hunter finishes our house first, that the other contractor is going to damage the house stucco where the house and wall meet. Hunter has given us guidance throughout the issues we've had with the other contractor, so we know how knowledgeable he is and we're excited to have him work on our home as soon as the other contractor's work is done. Hunter also gave us the address to some homes he did in the past and we spoke with one of the homeowners, and the homeowner had overwhelmingly positive things to say. Definitely recommend him for any exterior work. read more

Bad Experience, Cannot Recommend this Company I've hired this company twice. The first time was in May 2023. After a very wet rainy season, I had areas where stucco was bubbling, sagging and flaking off. Hunter's quote was reasonable and since he had great reviews here on Yelp, I hired him. The communication was great and the work was done in a timely manner to satisfaction. It's worth noting that I was quoted on May 10th and the job was completed all in one day on May 13th. Fast forward to April 15th 2024, after another heavy rainy season. The same area that Hunter had repaired just 11 months earlier was again sagging and flaking off. I contacted Hunter and sent pictures to which he responded quickly and set up an appointment. On Wednesday, April 24th Hunter came and inspected the problem area and said the problem was the weep screed was rusted out and needed to be replaced. I was a bit bummed that he didn't think the weep screed needed to be replaced a year ago and now was telling me that I needed the same area repaired again, but I thought the quality of work and good communication I had experienced the first time was worth finding out what he would charge me for the repair. 6 days and 3 texts from me later, Hunter finally responded that he had been ill and sent the quote. No discount was offered even though his previous work had not held up, but again I weighed the previous job experience and didn't want to risk a bad experience with a new company so I asked if he would warranty the work this time to which he said he would warranty for 5 years and I hired him again. This job experience had one issue after another. Communication was poor- lots of days without response. Lots of delays and rescheduling. The house was painted the wrong color even though a picture of the paint formula on the can he used the year prior was provided to him. When all was finally done (May 20th!), he became rude when I asked to wait to send payment until morning to view the new color in the light of day. Even though the paint was still pretty off, I paid Hunter for the job the very next morning and let him know I would just repaint myself. Two weeks later I was preparing to fix the paint and noticed an area of the repair that was bubbling up and flaking again. I reached out on 6/4 to Hunter to fix it and he finally responded on June 18th setting a day to come and repair. He did not show up, and as of today August 7th, he has not made the repair nor has he tried to contact me to make it right. read more

Hunter was quick to communicate and I felt reassured that he would do the job properly after speaking with him. Hunter answered my questions and followed the instructions I requested which was very nice. Anthony who came out to do the work did a great job; Hunter and Anthony stand by their work and I feel confident that if there's any issues they will be quick to address them. As a matter of fact while showing me the work Anthony saw that there might have been an area that could have used an additional touchup and he did it right away. Anthony was very kind and went above and beyond and put additional stucco into holes that were made for cable routing (which was not part of the original job). Thanks Hunter and Anthony, when I need more stucco work I know who to contact. read more

100% recommend and would definitely hire again. Reasonably priced and quality craftsmanship. Hunter and his team did excellent work in repairing and patching old/chipped stucco on my house before I repainted it. I gave 4 stars because communication could have been better. I scheduled the work a week before the job and had to double check we were still on the day before. The start time each day varied and I would have preferred better communication. Nonetheless, his team showed up each day, completed the job in a timely manner, and I was very pleased with the end product. Thank you Hunter and team. read more

Hunter and his team did an amazing job at redoing the exterior of my whole house. The house came out beautiful. I own a mid-century house that had an ugly coat of textured stucco added on top of the original stucco. Hunter quoted a fair price. The work consisted of sandblasting blasting the house then reappling a brand new layer coat of sand floated stucco. Throughout the project, Hunter communicated well: he was very responsive, and patient with me (I had a lot of questions) He was very punctual, and kept me posted with changes of plans. The work was very well executed and he kept the area as clean as possible throughout the project. It's hard to come across contractors that do quality work. I have found one for stucco. Highly recommend for any future stucco project. read more

Hunter came and repaired all the work another stucco guy messed up on. The previous contractor named Caesar filled in areas where old windows were removed and after a few days cracks formed around where the old windows were. Caesar ghosted me after not finishing the job. Hunter's workers opened up those cracked areas and reinforced them. They also textured the entire walls so it would all blend in. Hunter was very customer satisfaction oriented. His workers left some trash and Hunter came and cleaned it all up. If a guy named Caesar with the number 562-502-0632 is doing your stucco, beware his shotty work. You can call Hunter to fix it all. read more

I highly recommend Warren Lath and Plaster! They just finished converting a large portion of our external walls from old rotting wood planks to stucco, including painting it to match the rest of the community. They did an excellent job throughout! The entire project from the proposal to completion was timely and within promised scheduled and budget. Also, their bid was much more reasonable than other bids we received. Hunter Warren and team were very professional, responsive and thorough. They also took care of city permits and inspections. Hunter always kept in touch with us, his team, and city inspectors during the whole project and made sure all steps progressed successfully and to our satisfaction. Top notch job!
