Last year during a storm my stucco leaks. I found Gil from Yelp and they came to fix the leak. They patched my stucco and said it won't leak, and gave me a lifetime warranty on the fix. This year another storm, the stucco leak again, and leaks much larger than last year. The patch was poorly made, and cost me thousands of dollars damage. I contact Gil about the lifetime warranty, and he never showed up. Gil has many years of experience on stucco work, but he did not do the work by himself. He just subcontract the work to his crews, and he even never exams their finished job. I am totally unsatisfied about their work. So definitely one star rating. read more

So the box on the side of the house needed to be pulled out of the stucco and replaced then the stucco needed to be matched to the house. I would recommend hiring a customer service rep. I looked through yelp and wrote down the phone number to about eight companies. This is the only guy who refused to put a quote in writing and refused to share his contractor license #. Then he tried telling me the price he verbally quoted was a good deal, even though it wasn't, and that I should feel lucky. He also told me I should look up the license # myself. Gil showed up on time and gave me an estimate. That was what I thought super fair compared to the other two estimates I had. He showed up on time when he said he would be here and his crew showed up, ready to go in the morning that we had agreed upon, they were prompt tidy and did excellent work. Contractor requested photos of the project and responded quickly with a price. When I accepted the offer he reneged. I was told that nobody could do the work for that price and it needed to be more. He said "the girl made a mistake when she sent you that price." There was no apology for the error. It's risky to hire a contractor who is willing to raise prices in the middle of a simple project. Shortly after I posted this review I received a call from Sara ("The girl") to apologize. She confirmed they could meet the price and she had Gilly's (the owner) agreement on this. Broken trust is hard to repair. I wish this business no harm and hope they're able to iron out the communication problems. I moved on. read more

This business is very good at what is does. I would highly recommend it if you need stucco repair. He came out in 6/2020 and patched some holes in one of my walls. He did a great job! All the patches were flush with the wall and were the same color as the wall. I called him in 7/2021 to come out again because I thought that the patches were cracking. He was able to come out the same day that I called him. He hosed down the wall and the "cracks" disappeared. He said it was just dirt. He did not charge for coming out. read more

It's been a few years since I had a window installed and the contractor did a bad job patching the stucco. The texture was off and the color did not match the rest of the house. I'm now trying to get the whole house painted and wanted to get the stucco around the window fixed beforehand. I sent pictures to Gil and he was willing to do the job. Gave me a good quote and told me he could come the next day. He showed up with his crew ready to work the next day. But when he looked over the affected area up close, he told me that to do it right, he would have to do the entire wall which would cost over 3x as much as his original quote. I have a 2 story house, so it was a lot of stucco. He explained that the original stucco work was very good. So a large patch job in the middle of the wall would be noticeable. He said he could try to just work on the affected area around the window like I had requested, but it would not match the original stucco the way I wanted. Although the textures did not match perfectly, he thought the patch job from the contractor was ok and that I may notice it more because it is a different color from the rest of the house. He suggested that I save the money and just get the house painted and it should look ok once it is all the same color. He said he could take my money, but I would not be happy with the result and wanted to let me know. So I decided not to do the work. Although I cannot give any feedback on the quality of his work, he seemed to be very knowledgable about stucco work and how to do it right. He provided a good explanation of how to do a good job and what would happen if I tried to just patch in my situation. He explained that I had colored stucco and that there are generally two types of tones that either result in a more yellow hue or a more red hue. My original stucco was the yellow hue and the contractor used the red hue, which is why it didn't match even though they are very similar colors. My 5 star review is based on his knowledge and his honesty. If I ever need stucco work, I would definitely call him again. read more

This review is a bit overdue. I gave Gil a call in October of this year after reading up on his reviews here on yelp. He answered and said he would be out on the following Monday, and he was. First impression of Gil: Old School and to the point. I like and appreciate that right off the bat. After looking over my house, he told me it needed to be sandblasted as the current stucco was way to unstable to bond a new layer of stucco to. He gave me a quote that same day, which was very reasonable, and after taking a day to consider it, I called him to give him the go ahead to do the work. Gil showed up on time everyday bright and early on work days. Never missed a day and worked alongside his workers each day and was the first one to show up and the last one to leave at the end of the day. He made sure to cover up his areas and cleaned up any left over mess. I have to say Gil was very patient and answered all of my questions when it came to choosing a Stucco color. I was very indecisive yet he told me to take my time and decide and he left me with brochures and samples of all the colors available. Once I finally decided on a color, Gil brought out his work crew in full force and they completed the job in one day.
