These daredevils work hard for their money and they would rather use their own equipment. He patched it well, but I requested him to match paint the house, so he went to home depot on the same day to mix and return with paint. After a pipe leak in our wall, we contacted Mauricio to repair the drywall. He responded promptly with a quote and we scheduled the repair on a Saturday morning. Mauricio arrived with a helper and had the work done in less than 4 hours. I was impressed with the care taken to keep the dust confined to just the work area. He taped plastic sheeting around the work area from floor to ceiling. Once done, the work area was also vacuumed thoroughly. The quality of work was incredible. You cannot tell where the drywall had been cut by the plumbers. The price for the project was reasonable and I felt I received value for the money spent. So much good to say but not enough words! First off Mauricio beat 5 other bids in price. He was the only one who followed up with me. The other 5 painting companies didn't even call me back after they sent their bids through email or text message. We needed our whole house painted because the current paint was over 10 years old. It needed sanding, wood repair & stucco repair. We reach out to him at first because he is 5 stars on Yelp & for his reviews. We were going back & fourth between another painter. Mauricio text me a picture of a current house he was working on. I asked if we can see the work in person & he gave me the address. I zillowed the house & it was a million dollar house in Orange! I got to thinking if these people hired him for this 1.2 million house we can too. So we hired him. He started on a Saturday & this man wouldn't take a day off even after 7 days of working straight. I had to tell him to take a weekend off. Maurico & his crew especially Juan are like machines. One of the special things about Maurico is he answers questions through text & phone calls soon as he can. Almost right away at some moments. He said he learned 9+ years from his mentor in the painting business that one of the most important things that he taught Mauricio is to answer questions soon as possible. One thing during the project was a part of the house that a previous contractor covered a window to a kitchen to where we had our kitchen remodeled. The poor work the last contractor left made a huge square to where a window was. We didn't think Mauricio was going to work on it. We thought he was just going to try to patch it & paint. Mauricio took down the almost the whole outside stucco. He showed me how the wire & paper was not put correctly & fixed it! He covered the stucco correctly & now it's like nothing happened! Mauricio is so humble, he works his butt off & he is so nice. He deserves his business to grow & have so much work that he needs to expand. Mauricio responded quickly and came out the same day to give us a quote for the work and provided the quote the same day. We had some work that had to be done before Mauricio could come out so when I reached back out letting him know it was time he was available to come out within 1 week. Maurizio was professional, hard-working, down to earth, reasonably priced and did a really excellent job. I sent him some photos by text and he gave me an estimate. After some recent work at the house, there was some stucco patch work that needed to be done. With the rain over the winter, I also noticed there was water infiltration in the drywall around a sliding door. Mauricio came to survey the job and accurately diagnosed the problem as a retrofit door that was improperly installed. He offered a fair bid to repair the stucco, open the stucco and drywall and waterproof the door, followed by repair of the drywall and stucco, as well as some additional exterior painting that needed to be completed. He and his team were on time to complete the work, conducted themselves in a professional manner, and did an excellent job. My husband is in the trades and is very picky about who works at our home.
