They did an amazing job repairing sections of the closets where we had torn old railings down...perfect match to the drywall and paint color! The price was very fair and for the amount of wall they had to repair and paint! Was so good we are quoting them for more work! Thank you so much... read more

Mauricio solved all our stucco & drywall problems today! We recently had a new door installed in our 95 year old house and the stucco and drywall needed to be fixed after the installation. Mauricio took the time to explain what needed to be done to finish the job correctly, and his price was reasonable for the work performed. He even fixed a gap the contractors should have filled when the door was installed. We will need more work done in the future, and we will use Mauricio again! read more

Professionally closed dog door. Stucco & drywall inside & outside. Pictures show process. Very polite, skilled, and clean work. Would definitely use again for closing repairs. Also ended up using them to seal around a window air conditioner and did an excellent job there too. Showed up as scheduled, (actually showed up early,) worked quickly and got the job done right. Thank you. read more

We just finished our 3rd project with Mauricio and his team of guys. He ended up taking on a bigger project than anticipated and completed everything to our expectations. The patchwork was clean and we also had the interior of our home painted. Absolutely recommend! read more

Needed some fascia repaired in the front along with some minor stucco repairs in the back. Mauricio came out promptly and provided a competitive estimate. When we were ready he and his team came out quickly and got to work. They did a fantastic job with quality work. The replacement fascia blends in perfectly especially since this is the front of the house. The repaired stucco looks good. Highly recommend Mauricio and his team. read more

Contacted Mauricio to repair a hole on the side of the house. 5 stars for his reliability and also he didnt rent a commercial lift,. These daredevils work hard for their money and they would rather use their own equipment. He patched it well, but I requested him to match paint the house, so he went to home depot on the same day to mix and return with paint. They did a good job and was definitely satisfied upon completion. I will update if the patch holds up well, but so far everything is good Nice work! read more

We had drywall damages due to water leaks in our home and I contacted Mauricio to ask for a quote. He was very responsive and scheduled a time to come to our home. After taking a look he provided us a quote, which was very reasonable compared to others. After we agreed to move forward, we scheduled the services and he arrived on time. He patched the ceiling and wall in one day and came back a few days later to paint. We are very pleased with the results and appreciate his hard work. I would definitely refer him to anyone that needs patching services. Thank you Mauricio! read more

After a pipe leak in our wall, we contacted Mauricio to repair the drywall. He responded promptly with a quote and we scheduled the repair on a Saturday morning. Mauricio arrived with a helper and had the work done in less than 4 hours. I was impressed with the care taken to keep the dust confined to just the work area. He taped plastic sheeting around the work area from floor to ceiling. Once done, the work area was also vacuumed thoroughly. The quality of work was incredible. You cannot tell where the drywall had been cut by the plumbers. The price for the project was reasonable and I felt I received value for the money spent. I highly recommend Mauricio Mata for any drywall or stucco work you might need done! read more

Mauricio was very responsive and came in with a fair and competitive bid for drywall. We recently installed a new fireplace so needed the drywall around it repaired. Him and his crew did an awesome job! They came on time, went straight to work, and took care to keep everything tidy. They use "quick mud", so he was able to complete everything within 4 hours! Would definitely use Mauricio again for any sort of drywall or stucco repair work!! read more

Mauricio is honest, reliable and his work is AMAZING!!! I contacted several contractors from Yelp but Mauricio was the only one that maintained constant communication, arrived on time and didn't try to gouge me with unnecessary work. He did stucco and waterproofing on my house. You will not regret hiring him!! Thank you Mauricio!!! read more

So much good to say but not enough words! First off Mauricio beat 5 other bids in price. He was the only one who followed up with me. The other 5 painting companies didn't even call me back after they sent their bids through email or text message. We needed our whole house painted because the current paint was over 10 years old. It needed sanding, wood repair & stucco repair. We reach out to him at first because he is 5 stars on Yelp & for his reviews. We were going back & fourth between another painter. Mauricio text me a picture of a current house he was working on. I asked if we can see the work in person & he gave me the address. I zillowed the house & it was a million dollar house in Orange! I got to thinking if these people hired him for this 1.2 million house we can too. So we hired him. He started on a Saturday & this man wouldn't take a day off even after 7 days of working straight. I had to tell him to take a weekend off. Maurico & his crew especially Juan are like machines. One of the special things about Maurico is he answers questions through text & phone calls soon as he can. Almost right away at some moments. He said he learned 9+ years from his mentor in the painting business that one of the most important things that he taught Mauricio is to answer questions soon as possible. One thing during the project was a part of the house that a previous contractor covered a window to a kitchen to where we had our kitchen remodeled. The poor work the last contractor left made a huge square to where a window was. We didn't think Mauricio was going to work on it. We thought he was just going to try to patch it & paint. Mauricio took down the almost the whole outside stucco. He showed me how the wire & paper was not put correctly & fixed it! He covered the stucco correctly & now it's like nothing happened! Mauricio is so humble, he works his butt off & he is so nice. He deserves his business to grow & have so much work that he needs to expand. As he was working our neighbor next door hired him for a project also! Thank you Mauricio for taking the time, taking care of the little things & for the excellent work on our house! read more

Absolutely zero regrets about hiring Mauricio to fix the two holes in my wall left by a plumber! I try to DIY what I can, and I wasn't sure if it would really be worth it to hire a professional, but it was the best decision. Now no one will ever know there was a hole in the wall, it was blended and patched up so well. Also right on time, very efficient, cleaned up well, and charged a fair price. Highly recommend! read more

Mauricio did a great job. He was fast at responding to texts, showed up on time, fair price, excellent communication, does what he says he's going to do. The stucco repair looks solid and professional. I'd book him again and highly recommend. read more

Mauricio and Juan did a fantastic job installing new drywall for us in our bedroom after a roof leak. Mauricio responded quickly and came out the same day to give us a quote for the work and provided the quote the same day. We had some work that had to be done before Mauricio could come out so when I reached back out letting him know it was time he was available to come out within 1 week. He and Juan arrived within 30 minutes of when he had predicted and they finished up well before the end of the day. While on site they were respectful and professional. The final result of the work looks great. I have provided a before and after photo. They did a great job around our La Cantina doors where it was a small space between the doors and the wall. No complaints and will use him again if we ever need drywalling done. read more

This is the guy you call when you need drywall repair done. Our experience was very good from start to finish of the job. Maurizio was professional, hard-working, down to earth, reasonably priced and did a really excellent job. I sent him some photos by text and he gave me an estimate. He came by the same day to see it in person and was able to get started as we agreed on the estimate price. He spent the first day fixing the drywall and then came back the second day to paint it. I'm attaching pictures to what the drywall looked like before we had the work done and what it looked like after he fixed it. I wish all the contractors that we hired to do work on the house were as easy to work with as Maurizio and as dedicated to doing such a good job. read more

We had a couple of walls that needed to be patched, one drywall inside the house, the other was outdoors with stucco. Mauricio did a fantastic job! Friendly guy and paid attention to details that we missed altogether. The pictures speak for themselves. I got several quotes but Mauricio's was the lowest and most honest. One contractor gave me a lower quote but when I was about to hire him, I learned that his quote was just a "flat" quote which meant final price was much higher. The quote that Mauricio gave me was the actual "out of the door". His team arrived on time, professional and quick. I am very pleased with the value of his service. Highly recommended read more

After some recent work at the house, there was some stucco patch work that needed to be done. With the rain over the winter, I also noticed there was water infiltration in the drywall around a sliding door. Mauricio came to survey the job and accurately diagnosed the problem as a retrofit door that was improperly installed. He offered a fair bid to repair the stucco, open the stucco and drywall and waterproof the door, followed by repair of the drywall and stucco, as well as some additional exterior painting that needed to be completed. He and his team were on time to complete the work, conducted themselves in a professional manner, and did an excellent job. My husband is in the trades and is very picky about who works at our home. He approved of Mauricio's team and their quality of workmanship. We now intend to use them to repaint the entire exterior. Highly recommend! read more

Thank you so much Mauricio for patching up the wire lath and waterproof around my upgraded electrical panel! Mauricio was very responsive and came over to work on it the very next day. He also got it done within 2 hours. He knew that I needed to get it inspected by the city after he was done and left a sample of the waterproof material for the inspector to see. Looking forward to working with him more in the future. Definitely my go to patch up person! read more
