We needed a quick paint job after moving out to bring the space to show quality. We reached out to Humble Painting and Ricardo reached out via text less than 24 hrs after I made my initial inquiry. Ricardo was communicative, responsive, forthcoming and his services were more affordable than competitors. I eventually went with his services because to me he felt more secure with his services, whereas other companies tried to sell me their services (I know that's all well and fine it's just Ricardo just presented what he could do and let me make my decisions based off of his presentation of what he could provide). I didn't get a sense of pressure or a need to sell his work, he let his work speak for itself. Ricardo's uncle did the paint job and he was kind and professional, working until the job got done even after the sun went down. We were pleasantly surprised and overwhelmingly satisfied with the job. Ricardo even recognized things we didn't and suggested options and he was gracious to come back (next day) to get those pieces done when we overlooked them and it was honestly the right call. If I could give a negative star, I would. Unlike the 5 star ratings posted here by happy customers, we unfortunately did not have the same "attention to detail" experience with Humble Painting. We hired Ricardo Sotelo, owner of Humble Painting, based on a competitive bid, a contract which outlined what materials would be used, including paint, and steps to be taken to prep various areas. Ricardo assured me he would be present while work was being done. We agreed upon a June 3rd start date with everything to be completed no later than Saturday June 8th. Unfortunately, Humble Painting failed on all counts. Ricardo was not only absent most of the day while his employees worked around our home, he was not truthful with us during this process. Our French doors, we have 2 sets plus one set with sidelights, were damaged beyond repair. We ultimately fired Humble Painting due to inferior work and the damaged french doors. Our corrective painting contractor did an excellent job removing/repairing the work conducted by Humble Painting. We ended up replacing our French doors. Due to the substantial increase in cost to correct ( & replace french doors), we felt we had no other option than to file a claim against Humble Painting & Ricardo Sotelo. After 4 mos of investigation which included submitting documentation and video recordings (thank goodness for our security cameras), we prevailed. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I do not want any homeowners to go through what we went through. read more

There was no other painter that I interviewed that offered the same high quality detailed workmanship. After power washing my entire home, the workers spent two days caulking every crack and crevice along with doing expert stucco repairs. They covered and protected my windows and pavers and made sure there was no overspray that would affect my neighbors.
