I reached out to Eguez Painting for the painting of my home. Fabio had great communication during the quoting phase. He worked with me on paint ideas and ordering samples prior to the painting. His team worked fast and very efficiently. The house looked amazing and during the final walkthrough if there were any sections that needed touch up it was handled then. They did such a good job that we decided to have his team to do the interior of the house. It was here that Fabio's professionalism really showed. During the application of the first coat I noticed that the paint did not match the sample from the manufacturer. Fabio came out to look at the issue and contacted the paint manufacturer's sales representative to come and see. The next morning the rep saw that there was a discrepancy with the paint color and offered other samples. Once the new samples arrived the decision was made for the new color. I recently had the entire inside of my house paintEd. However, before he started, I had the kitchen painted and brand new countertops and cabinets installed. It was very expensive and I asked him not to paint the kitchen or touch the kitchen at all. As it was already painted, and the countertops were put in perfectly. I left Fabio a key and when I got back, I saw the kitchen had been painted and there were drips everywhere over the sink and into the grout around the new quartz countertops. There was also a tremendous amount of paint around the windows where you can see the drips in the paint. They didn't even remove the switch plates around the plugs and lights and painted around them and there was paint on the brand new switch Plates. I asked him to paint the cabinets a nice high gloss and he said he could do it with satin as he has a special way of doing it so it looks beautiful. Well, it didn't look beautiful. It looked horrible with clumps of paint mismatched from high gloss to low gloss. A lack of communication is tremendous. I asked him to make it right and he said he would meet me there and make it right. Well, he never showed up. He didn't even respond to my text messages. I use this contractor based on the five star reviews but apparently the Work that other people had was probably just a regular wall and not the same basic painting as I had asked for. He even charged me an extra $200 to paint the cabinets after I told him I was removing the kitchen from the work order. Unbelievable. I do not recommend this company based on this horrible experience and complete lack of communication. read more

Words cannot express how grateful we are for finding Eguez Painting! We were going to have a lot of painting done in our home including a lot of touchups. I called 5 different companies for a quote. Fabio came to our home and walked from room to room and took detailed notes as to what we wanted done (painting the ceiling in 2 rooms, painting the dining room, painting the stairwell, hallway, touchups to a bunch of knicks throughout the house from dogs/kids, sanded down all of the door frames and doors in the house and painted them, all of the crown molding in the entire house and all of the baseboards as well. They even fixed some stucco on the back of the house and used a water sealing paint so water could not come in). The very next day, he texted me a very fair quote. He was honest with how long the project would take and very thorough with what was included in the price so there were no misunderstandings. We have dealt with crooked and dishonest contractors in the past but I had a very good feel about Fabio and his crew. The day before the painting project began, he texted me the exact time his two right hand guys (Fabian & Juanito) would be arriving. They showed up 5 minutes early which was awesome! They knew what each room needed without me having to tell them. They got right to work and were extremely detailed and really took their time to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction. They communicated with us if they had questions and didn't "just guess". They were careful with all of the furniture, covered everything up so no paint or dust got on anything. They treated our home like they would their own. Very respectful. The job took 4.5 days so we stayed in a hotel while the work was being done. Each day I would stop by to check on the progress and each time I walked in the door unannounced, they were busy doing their job and not messing around or talking to each other. All business.
