Our house was in desperate need of painting and repairs. Besides touch ups to the trim and wood, it was at least 35 years since the whole house was professionally painted. We interviewed 2 other painters, then reached out to Custom Painting and Decorating, after a fabulous review from our neighbor. We met the company owner, Cesar, when he came to our home to estimate our job. He arrived in a company vehicle, took pictures, briefed us on what we needed and fully explained how they would proceed. He said they used the top of the line Sherwin Williams paint. That was an immediate plus. Before Cesar left, he presented a detailed, printed estimate complete with photos. We hired him and that estimate was honored through completion. Shortly after that, we met our project manager Juan, a patient and knowledgeable professional, who became our constant contact throughout the job. Next, Crew Manager, Fransisco arrived, power washed the entire house and covered walkways and hardscape. Next, the entire crew went to work erecting scaffold, sealing windows with plastic and tape, removing damaged wood, prepping surfaces and finally painting. Before we knew it, the house was finished. The most incredible thing was, during the hottest weeks of the summer, the diligent and conscientious, crew completeded our job quickly and meticulously. Not only was the job worth EVERY PENNY CHARGED, our home looks brand new and beautiful. We couldn't be happier. Do not hesitate to hire this company. We're so happy we did. Kathy and Steve read more

The outside of our home needed a major paint upgrade, and I searched high and low for a reputable company that was competitively priced. I sent requests to a few companies, and one of the first to reach out was Custom Painting. We set up a consultation, and Cesar came out not once, but twice because I was indecisive and had follow-up questions and concerns that he was able to assist with. I was in between colors, and Juan came to our house to swatch them so I could make a better, more informed decision. They were extremely flexible with our schedule, as I had other contractors and projects happening at the same time. When they showed up to start the project, they were very professional and communicated every step of the way. Their painters, Jorge and Victor, were professional and did an amazing job on the entire exterior of our home. They took their time prepping, priming, sanding, and making sure their work area was clean. Almost every day, I received an update from Jorge letting me know what the day would look like and what was planned for the next day. Toward the end of the project, there were details we hadn't considered until things were wrapping up, and they were extremely understanding when I needed to make a few adjustments and changes. The timing wasn't perfect--we had a few hiccups due to a delay in our door installation--but they worked with us the best they could. Overall, I am so glad we went with Custom Painting. The way they took care of our home like it was their own spoke volumes about the kind of company they are. Thank you again to Cesar, Juan, Jorge and Victor. Our house is absolutely stunning! read more

We finally decided to pull the plug on a on a major exterior paint and stucco job which was on our wish list. Estimates were 13- 15 days from various providers. We chose Custom Painting due to attention to detail in quote, fair estimates, detailed description of their paint process with superior warranty (5 years) on their workmanship. A small example of their working with you/expertise - they painted our desired sample paint(s) in 3 different sections so we could visualize how it would like in different material (stucco, siding) as well as at various times of the day. This helped us lock-in our desired paint selection for the paint project. The experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail. They took the time to properly prepare the surfaces, kept the work area clean each day, and completed the project on schedule. The quality of the workmanship exceeded our expectations. The paint finish is smooth, crisp, and has completely transformed the look of our home. The crew was courteous, communicated well throughout the project, and made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the job. The CEO Cesar monitors each project individually with the assigned project manager and follows up on feedback/satisfaction. This is very rare in these transactional times where every job is a "job" period. It is nice to work with a family owned business that cares about you. Made friends with the whole team assigned to the project - Juan, Zoe, Nathan, Mario, Francisco, Jessica, Luisa - you can trust this group. If you're looking for a reliable painting company that delivers excellent quality and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend them. We couldn't be happier with the results and would definitely use them again for future painting projects. read more

After getting a few estimates, we choose Custom Painting & Decorating to paint the entire interior of our approx 1100 square food condo. Justis came out to do the assessment, take photos, and followed up by providing a very detailed written estimate. Justis is such an asset to the company with his friendly personality and positive attitude. He also was able to answer all of my questions. When the painting started, we met Juan, the lead, who provided a plan, explained everything in more detail, and answered all questions. He also is a huge asset to the company. He is such a patient person and despite my anxiety about the whole process, due to the entire interior being painted and having 3 indoor cats that we had to keep in one bedroom, then the other, he was always able to reassure me with his calm demeanor. The painting crew, another Juan, and Jose, showed up each day on time and worked very hard and thoroughly. They were careful to cover all the floors and furniture. They helped move furniture back in place and cleaned up when the job was completed. I am so thankful for all of their help and they did a wonderful job. I am very happy that we went with Custom Painting & Decorating. The cost was very reasonable and competitive. Highly recommend! read more

Custom Painting & Decorating - This is the stairs , outstanding job of taping and painting. This took time and patience to do. - Painters Near Me - Anaheim, California

I recently had my popcorn ceilings removed, followed by priming and painting, and overall I'm very happy with the final result from Custom Painting and Decorating. Week 1 was outstanding--Mario and Greg did exceptional work. They were professional, courteous, detail-oriented, and kept everything clean. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. During Week 2, a different crew was assigned, and unfortunately there were some issues with inconsistent work quality. There was peeling of the original paint when tape was removed, and quite a bit of debris left on my carpets, which was disappointing. However, what truly makes this a five-star experience is how the company handled it. Mario and Greg returned during the first two days of Week 3 and completely turned things around. They fixed the issues, cleaned up thoroughly, and once again delivered exceptional workmanship. A huge thank you to Mario and Greg for going above and beyond--they were reliable, respectful, and truly excellent at their craft. Because of them, I would absolutely recommend Custom Painting and Decorating. read more

They came out to home , gave estimate and collected a deposit. Scheduled start date of job - then canceled and rescheduled for a week later. Then called and canceled that start date and bumped it out one more day (One person showed up and did a marginal power wash job) about an hour of work on a 3000 square-foot home!! So now we're on a third reschedule time theCrew was a no-show. No call from the owner or the manager?! had to call them to see what was going on-- they said one of their workers trucks got shot up in Santa Ana by bullets - I checked online. There was no reported shootings of vehicles in Santa Ana?? Mind-boggling they are still in business with this lack of integrity or follow through read more

Project: Exterior house painting. After reading countless reviews, we made the decision to contact Custom Painting & Decorating for a quote. Cesar and Nathan came to our home and listened to all of our wants and concerns for paint and repairs. Took measurements, and photos of everything. Truly, they left no stone unturned before providing a very thorough quote. They even took a photo of our house and showed it with various colors, to show us how it could look. We had already been actively getting quotes, but within a few hours of our meeting with Cesar & Nathan, we were so impressed, that we decided our search was over, and signed their contract. We felt their price quote was fair. (They were not the cheapest), but we liked that they were local family owned and working company, with all their own employees and no subs. Working with the ladies in the office, Marcela for scheduling, Christina for contract and insurance cert, and Zoe the onsite Project Mgr. Whom I might add, has excellent communication skills. She was kind & professional and made herself available to us for all and any questions or concerns we had. Things were already moving along seamlessly. Sample paints were painted on 3 different areas of the house and they were very patient with us while we decided on our final choice. Mario, lead foreman & painter was the true artist. Managing his team for two days of stucco & wood repairs before they could start the actual paint job. The way they were working in unity, they were truly a well oiled machine. The final project turned out beautifully. Custom Paint & Decorating did not disappoint. We would highly recommend them to anyone !!! read more

They were timely and priced well, though my job hasn't been completed yet I am confident that it will be great!

Custom Painting & Decorating should be at the top of your list whenever you need interior or exterior painting. Their original estimate was a little higher than the others, but the presentation and proposal with detailed images from Cesar Munoz convinced me they were the BEST value I could get for my 65 year old Rossmoor home. From startup thru completion, painters Mario and Greg did an excellent job thru pressure washing, sanding, primer application and precision painting. Office manager, Lena and project lead Mario communicated daily to ensure everything was proceeding with care. The total project ran 3 1/2 days. This is the BEST exterior paint job my house has had in the 40 years I've lived in it. I'm confident the Sherwin-Williams paint will last several years beyond the warranty. My wife and I are delighted with the job done by the Custom Painting & Decorating team. We look forward to using them again when we do our next project. Give Cesar Munoz a call and put them to work. read more

Excellent ready to hire again. Pleasant workers. Job done in 2 days Neat, clean and clean up was good

We used CP&D for a couple large rooms with high pitch ceilings that were in need of significant TLC. Drywall tape was peeling, multiple cracks due to land settling (common in our area) and drywall seams showing. Communication was excellent with questions answered quickly. Mario was our prime worker and he went above and beyond showing he takes pride in his work. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and their price was among the lowest of the multiple quotes received. read more

absolutely horrible , do not hire, have to get the job fixed. Terrible work, completely unprofessional and unacceptable work.

Cesar and his team are superior in what they do. From prepping the area to actually making the walls etc look brand new again. He worked in our 1900 sf condo after a massive repipe. The holes were patched plastered and area completely repainted. Wow what a beautiful feeling . The repipe was a job on it's own. Then to have 62 cuts throughout the condo was mind blowing. Cesar set me at ease and I will always recommend him for his magical make over. Thank you Lianecc read more
