We hired Ace Crown Painting to repaint our kitchen cabinets and all our walls, ceilings, doors, and trims. They did a PHENOMENAL job!! We've hired other painters in the past and they blow those other guys out of the water. Once I met Kevin, I knew on the spot that I wanted to go with them. He came in and was so knowledgeable and reassuring (without that upselling, overly confident vibe). Just very honest and transparent about what they can do and what their limitations might be. Customer Service - Fantastic! Kevin was always quick to respond to my texts/calls leading up to painting day. I was unsure about sheen and what color white and he offered some super helpful recommendations. Every time I texted, he'd call me back in minutes. Work Quality - Amazing! I was already impressed on day one because their prep work is the best I've ever seen. They are meticulous and detail-oriented in making sure every square inch is covered. They were also very organized and gentle with our furniture. I had no fear about paint residue getting on our stuff. I think prep is one of the most important parts of painting and an area that's tempting to skimp on. I kid you not they spent the entire first day ensuring prep was perfect. Then the work itself - my cabinets and trims are gorgeous. I held off on doing anything to my cabinets for 12 years because the quality is great but I didn't like the outdated cherrywood color. I didn't want to reface/replace my quality cabinets, but I kept reading about how paint can chip. Kevin and his team use a special, top of the line paint for their cabinets and I love the way my cabinets turned out. I'll let pictures speak for themselves. My walls look fantastic too. We used the same white everywhere with just different sheens and love the result. Note: I chose BM White Dove and color matched with Dunn Edwards paint because that's the brand Ace Crown uses. There was also a huge, botched drywall job on my ceiling from the time we had a leak, and Kevin and his crew patched it up perfectly. Kevin said it wouldn't be 100% perfect, but it turned out pretty flawless to me. You'd never guess there was anything there if you look at my ceiling. Timing - They came out time every day, cleaned up after themselves, and came in within schedule! Kevin said about 5-6 days to do everything, and they were done by mid-afternoon the 5th day! I only have positive things to say about this company. Everyone I interacted with was so warm, kind, and meticulous. I would recommend Ace Crown Painting in a heartbeat and have already told all my friends about them. (Star earned) He was quick in the house, looked at everything needed and then gave me a quote. (Meh, was really quick) And the quote.... He was the 4th quote I got, the others for the project where $1000-$1450, and his.... Was $4150! So much higher than everyone else. He said he used quality paints and named the company, Dunn Edward's or Sherman Williams j think, but on the quote it also mentioned Home Depot paint.... Huh? I am over the moon thrilled with the finished project and the entire experience with Ace Crown Painting. Kevin sold us the project with his very valuable input on color and finishes in addition to his explanation of the work. What was absolutely delightful was the entire project was completed by his exceptionally skilled and detailed Mother and Father team. Just the two of them finished the entire project in 4 days which included protecting all surfaces, appliances, enclosing the kitchen with drapes, removing all cabinet doors, creating a paint booth in the garage, refinishing the exterior of the front door and remounting the cabinet doors. Even adjusting the doors attaching small silicone bumpers on each that were not there before. The entire work area was left spotless. They used Dunne Edward's semigloss Aristoshield paint in Swiss coffee for the cabinets and door trim and flat for the walls. Excellent products. Kevin and his parents are pros. I contacted Ace Crown based on the great Yelp reviews. They were able to schedule me pretty quickly to work on a variety of interior rooms that needed various fixups, and quoted a fair price. They arrive on-time and finished the job on-schedule (a bit ahead, actually). Also noteworthy that they cleaned up everything perfectly just as if no work had happened. We requested a quote from Kevin due to the excellent reviews on here. We were very pleased right from the start as Kevin got beck to us within an hour and set up a time for meeting. Kevin went through the whole process with us and explained that his family owned and operated business will be doing the work with family members on site. I believe this shows the humble pride and high expectations they have for themselves as a family and a business owner. He provided a complete quote including labor and materials before leaving. On day one, Kevin and his crew showed up early to get started. We were very pleased as his crew showed up early every day and got right to work. Excellent progress was made every day and NO time was wasted. Some unique things about our project: we have a clay tile roof and there is always concern about broken tiles when working on this type. Kevin was upfront from the start and identified the tiles noted as cracked on day one to establish a trust. He noted that they would be forthcoming about any tiles broken during the job and this held true, noting that 10 tiles had been damaged, BUT they had applied glue in best effort to repair. I did not have a problem with this as the amount of time spent moving around in this type of roof will cause some damage and as well, the excellent job done and honesty about the tiles brought me reassurance. Also, on day one, we had not yet decided with certainty on the paint color, but Kevin worked with me on this and by the following morning i let him know what we had decided. His crew showed up with the correct paint -- Kevin uses Dun Edwards highest quality paint line. Our two story house was completed in 4 days - sooner than expected. The crew was clean, professional and showed pride in their work. We could not be happier with the work done and made sure to provide the crew with some cash as these days unexpected monetary compensation is what says thank you the best.
