Price was very competitive and assigned Sergio to start the following week. The work involved painting 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, dining area, ceiling, doors and kitchen cabinet which took about 4-5 days to complete. Since we were replacing the carpet, we saved time on prep work and used it as a drop cloth. Sergio did a great job patching holes on wall and repairing popcorn ceiling bubbling up from the paint sprayer. I work all day so I can only check the progress and status after work. Whenever I discovered any imperfections or unfinished areas, I would inform Kyle via text and next day Sergio was already working on it. Love prompt, efficient and professional service. A big job for me and a small job for them, but for me it would be a big time-consuming job if I had done it myself and probably not as good as the team from Flex painting. As a homeowner, I looked at how the team prepared to paint. As it is really important to cover up counters, walls, floors, door knobs, sofas, tables, etc. so that paint doesn't accidentally splatter on various items. Diego and Tony did an excellent job. The paint job looked great, and I ask them if they were finished, they said we have one more coat to do. That shows me honesty and integrity of their work. Wow the Yelp reviews don't lie. I had called Flex and spoke to Kyle he was quick to respond and was able to come out the same day to give me a quote. I appreciated how responsive, friendly and informative he was as we walked through my house and the various paint projects we needed to do. Of course with any home remodel budget is a huge concern so I appreciated that Kyle was willing to break out my project to make it more manageable. Anyhow we booked with Kyle and he sent over Edgar the following Monday. For our first project we decided to do the front door and stair bannister and posts. We opted for the same color for both. Edgar sanded and cleaned the doors because our existing paint was dark and you could see all the beating the door had taken over the years. Amazing job on my house! I recently researched house painters to paint our exterior and came across Flex through a local FB group. Based on reviews and photos here on Yelp, I submitted requested for quotes from about 10 companies. In regards to price, Flex was right in the middle of my top 3 quotes. What I valued most about their service was their honesty and their pride for a job well done. The house was last painted in 2011. Since then, there had been some wood damaged from water and stucco peeling due to vines growing along the walls. When Kyle came to give me a quote, he told me he would quote me for repair and painting, but suggested I checked with a carpenter to fix the wood first; that they could do the work but could only guarantee the job they did on paint as that is what their license was for. Of the several others that came and quoted me, he was the only one who said that, though I imagine most painters are only licensed for paint (I did not get quotes from any general contractors). As recommended, I worked with a carpenter and had the wood repaired prior to paint, then got a second quote. Again, price was comprable to the others I had sought out, but Kyle's transparency is what got them the job. I signed a contract, scheduled the job, and we were off! Prior to job, paint color was confirmed, and on start day, the team was on time (I regret not getting the names of both guys working because I would like to credit them both, but the one I met was Edgar). They power washed and prepped, stuccoed, filled wood, masked off surrounding areas, and did an excellent job all around! Surfaces were smooth and you cannot tell where they had to fill or resurface. I was quoted 5 working days. It ended up being 6.5, but since it was all outside work only, I didn't need to stay home, so it didn't interfere with life. I have worked with painters in the past that have quoted 3 days and took 3 weeks, so timing on this project, in my opinion, was outstanding. Overall, very positive experience with Flex. I was looking for someone to come paint a bedroom, many businesses either gave me an appointment that was in weeks, or quoted me for a higher than average price. Kyle was able to provide me with a free estimate, and send a painter soon after. We needed both the walls and ceiling painted, in addition to the door, baseboard, and closet area. Jose, the painter, did an excellent job. He ensured everything was prepped correctly, applied the paint evenly, and had great attention to detail. Great great great service! I hired Flex Painting to paint the entire interior of the home. We ended up choosing an off-white color to cover a deep purple color that covered our walls. Our painters Diego and Tony did a great job with none of the purple bleeding through and the paint evenly coated the walls. I basically went by this co great reviews. Kyle send me a proposal and started working on the exterior of my house in Downey without having the contract signed. Apparently he was using sub contractors and kept replacing them every other day. This was the most unorganized job I ever seen in my 40 years in the business. The work was shoddy and one window was damaged by his guys. I gave Kyle a list of repairs that needed to be made and he responded saying that he is not in business any more, that he is not going to do any repairs and that he let his license go. This was the weirdest experience I had with any contractor. Other than that, he is a nice guy. Picky customer? bad customer? Shame on you, you are not a painter, you can only smear paint, you have no idea what proper prep is. That's the problem with Yelp reviews: most people look at a nice finish coat of paint and rush to write a 5 star review, not knowing that this paint won't last since no proper prep was done. Kyle, your license expired 8.31.2025 and you started my job 9.3.2025 so you performed my job without a license and the best I know is that this is criminal. read more

Replaced the roof a couple of weeks ago and needed a lot of repair and replacement of eaves and other wood due to dry rot.
