Kyle was so great to work with and had excellent communication throughout the whole project. His guys were all very friendly and helpful as well. He provided the most affordable quote out of about five quotes we received and the team was willing to work with the difficult situation of our house having a lot of residue from old ivy vines. They were also very mindful of the details and character of our 100-year-old airplane bungalow craftsman home, which we really appreciated. His team completed the work within the projected timeframe, and we are so happy with the result! He even went above and beyond by doing some extras for us, like painting a bench and the fence connecting us to our neighbors. We would definitely recommend Flex Painting! read more

Had a great experience with Flex Painting. I worked with Kyle, and he was very friendly and responsive the whole way. He provided competitive pricing for interior painting for my 4 bedroom condo. We recently used Flex Painting to paint the interior of a rental unit that we manage, and we couldn't be more satisfied. Talked to Kyle on the phone and he promptly came over to give me a quote. Price was very competitive and assigned Sergio to start the following week. The work involved painting 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, dining area, ceiling, doors and kitchen cabinet which took about 4-5 days to complete. Since we were replacing the carpet, we saved time on prep work and used it as a drop cloth. Sergio did a great job patching holes on wall and repairing popcorn ceiling bubbling up from the paint sprayer. I work all day so I can only check the progress and status after work. Whenever I discovered any imperfections or unfinished areas, I would inform Kyle via text and next day Sergio was already working on it. Love prompt, efficient and professional service. We are very pleased with their work and would likely use them again for any future painting project. read more

Kyle and his crew were great. They completed the job on time and for a reasonable price. Their drywall repairs were also surprisingly good!

I'm very happy with the exterior painting work. Some areas had peeling paint due to damaged wood, and Kyle's team did a great job repairing them by adding a thin board and painting over it to create a smooth, clean finish. I really appreciate the attention to detail and quality of the work. Highly recommend! read more

Amazing job on my house! I recently researched house painters to paint our exterior and came across Flex through a local FB group. Based on reviews and photos here on Yelp, I submitted requested for quotes from about 10 companies. In regards to price, Flex was right in the middle of my top 3 quotes. What I valued most about their service was their honesty and their pride for a job well done. The house was last painted in 2011. Since then, there had been some wood damaged from water and stucco peeling due to vines growing along the walls. When Kyle came to give me a quote, he told me he would quote me for repair and painting, but suggested I checked with a carpenter to fix the wood first; that they could do the work but could only guarantee the job they did on paint as that is what their license was for. Of the several others that came and quoted me, he was the only one who said that, though I imagine most painters are only licensed for paint (I did not get quotes from any general contractors). As recommended, I worked with a carpenter and had the wood repaired prior to paint, then got a second quote. Again, price was comprable to the others I had sought out, but Kyle's transparency is what got them the job. I signed a contract, scheduled the job, and we were off! Prior to job, paint color was confirmed, and on start day, the team was on time (I regret not getting the names of both guys working because I would like to credit them both, but the one I met was Edgar). They power washed and prepped, stuccoed, filled wood, masked off surrounding areas, and did an excellent job all around! Surfaces were smooth and you cannot tell where they had to fill or resurface. I was quoted 5 working days. It ended up being 6.5, but since it was all outside work only, I didn't need to stay home, so it didn't interfere with life. I have worked with painters in the past that have quoted 3 days and took 3 weeks, so timing on this project, in my opinion, was outstanding. Overall, very positive experience with Flex. I have saved their number and will definitely use them for future projects. read more

Good customer service. Competitve pricing, professional, qualified, and honest painters. A big job for me and a small job for them, but for me it would be a big time-consuming job if I had done it myself and probably not as good as the team from Flex painting. As a homeowner, I looked at how the team prepared to paint. As it is really important to cover up counters, walls, floors, door knobs, sofas, tables, etc. so that paint doesn't accidentally splatter on various items. Diego and Tony did an excellent job. The paint job looked great, and I ask them if they were finished, they said we have one more coat to do. That shows me honesty and integrity of their work. Once they were finished, they cleaned as much as they could. I had my ceilings, walls, and baseboards all painted. They bought the paint, I only had to pick out the colors, they handled the rest. read more

Wow the Yelp reviews don't lie. I had called Flex and spoke to Kyle he was quick to respond and was able to come out the same day to give me a quote. I appreciated how responsive, friendly and informative he was as we walked through my house and the various paint projects we needed to do. Of course with any home remodel budget is a huge concern so I appreciated that Kyle was willing to break out my project to make it more manageable. Anyhow we booked with Kyle and he sent over Edgar the following Monday. For our first project we decided to do the front door and stair bannister and posts. We opted for the same color for both. Edgar sanded and cleaned the doors because our existing paint was dark and you could see all the beating the door had taken over the years. I won't go into the long arduous process of the careful prep that Edgar did to make sure he covered everything meticulously. Let's just say I was impressed with the detail and effort as well as the clean up when all was done. Both my front door and stairs came out amazing. I am definitely going to be working with Flex painting again and would highly recommend! read more

I have an old house built in 1928 needing a paint job in the living room. Kyle responded promptly to my request for an estimate. The first day workers arrived at 7 am and started working. They soon discovered more repairs had to be done with the ceiling before painting can be done. It took one more day than the estimated days to complete the job but I am so happy with the outcome. The painter was so attentive to details; his assistant swept each day before leaving. The fireplace mantel was not easy to paint but FLEX made it happen. Thank you! read more

Highly recommend Flex Painting! Kyle, Adan, Jesse, Jose, Andre, and every single team member we interacted with were kind, respectful, and communicative throughout the entire process. They did an incredible job painting our multi-unit condo building for our HOA, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We gathered bids from several experienced contractors, but Kyle's calm, knowledgeable demeanor, and his excellent communication from the start, really stood out. The nearly 200 five-star reviews here are all well-deserved. It's rare to find a contractor who is 10/10 in quality, work ethic, and customer service, but Flex Painting delivers across the board. We'd absolutely work with them again in the future. Thanks again, Kyle, Adan, and team! read more

Reached out to Flex for a wall sanding due to a Roman clay gone wrong from another company. Discussed the work needed with Kyle and he provided me a prompt and reasonable estimate to sand down the Roman clay so that it can be corrected. Not only was the estimate prompt, the turnaround to start the job was a few days later. His crew showed up on time, masked off the area and went straight to work and were able to attain what I hired them for. Great timely work. We are *thrilled* with Flex Painting!! Our 1930s single-family house needed a fresh coat of paint, so I found them on Yelp after seeing some stellar reviews. Kyle came out to inspect the house super quickly and sent over the proposal right away. Their pricing was very reasonable, but what really stood out was Kyle's friendliness and professionalism. He answered all my questions with patience--even when he was battling a nasty flu! And his team? Just as polite and friendly as can be. They did an amazing job, making our house look brand new! Kyle and his team did a great job. Fast response, competitive pricing, seeks feedback and approval to ensure everything was completed to my requirements. I was looking for someone to come paint a bedroom, many businesses either gave me an appointment that was in weeks, or quoted me for a higher than average price. Kyle was able to provide me with a free estimate, and send a painter soon after. We needed both the walls and ceiling painted, in addition to the door, baseboard, and closet area. Jose, the painter, did an excellent job. He ensured everything was prepped correctly, applied the paint evenly, and had great attention to detail. Although we are planning to replace the carpet in the room, he still managed to avoid paint splatter. We still have many walls that need to be painted and patched up, so we look forward to doing business with Flex Painting. read more

Fantastic job to Kyle and Adan! We hired them to paint the eaves and trim as well as garage for our exterior. We're going to have the outside restucco'd, so we told them not to worry about covering that before paint, and they left very minimal paint on the stucco to boot. - Even though I was so indecisive on certain details, they were very patient with me and willing to change whatever I asked them to. They're very laidback, understanding, and their biggest goal on the job was to make sure we loved the finished product, which I really appreciated. The crew spoke English, which was also a big bonus to me personally. They gave us a really great price and delivered quality work. We're definitely going to recommend them to friends and family!! read more
