I recently used ESR Quality Painting to paint my two-story house here in Glendora, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, Erick was great to work with, professional, responsive, and straightforward. The crew he sent out was fantastic. You could tell they really cared about the quality of their work; they took their time with the prep and painting, and didn't rush through any part of the project. On top of the excellent craftsmanship, their pricing was very reasonable and competitive compared to the other quotes I received. If you're looking for a reliable, high-quality painter in the area, I highly recommend Erick and the ESR team. I'd absolutely use them again! read more

Initially great, but after making final payment they didn't come back to complete the punch list. Also, a couple years later we have issues which indicate that priming was not done properly. The company does not answer or stand behind their work. I chose this company based on the reviews here on Yelp, which is also what compels me to share our experience in case it might help another homeowner who's evaluating their options. In a nutshell: I'd keep searching, knowing what I know now after hiring ESR Quality Painting to paint our home. read more

I ultimately went with someone else I'd worked with before who became unexpectedly available, but had a great experience with Erick providing me with a couple of estimates for house painting. Ceiling repair and paint the entire large and high room. The response and service is impeccable! The response was quick, and Eric had his team at my house the following day. The work did take long but the level of detail and quality was totally spot on! We've held off for years until the kids were older to do the repair and paint, so the pricing for all the work - 3 full days worth was worth the price and more! So much more were his team and their attention to detail and were quick to resolve any issue that we pointed out. I plan to use ESR for any and all future work in my house. Thank you ESR! read more

Eric is awesome! Patient and a good listener, he gave good advice and a reasonable price for repainting of our walls and cabinets. There will be an assigned crew but Eric will follow up to ensure you are good with the work. It's ok to voice your concerns because he will listen. read more

I'm a 3rd time repeat customer of this business. Carlos and Erick are both very communicative and take genuine pride in their work. During our final walk through, after I approved of the work completed, Erick pointed out a few other areas he felt could be done better. Erick and his team did a great job painting the exterior of our home. The onsite crew was friendly, didn't play loud music, and they left the job site tidy during and clean after the job was complete. I was worried our glass sliders and glass deck railing would potentially be damaged but they covered everything and there was zero splatter. Highly recommend. read more

ESR is an old time business operating in the now. They have people who take actual pride in their work (hard to come by these days). They work with the belief of doing things the right way not just the way that is easiest. I have owned my home for 31 years and have used many contractors who do not measure up to "Carlos and his paint crew". I am so impressed with the quality and professionalism of this company that I chose to express my sincere gratitude by submitting this review. If you are looking for quality and superb attention to detail, then look no further than ESR Quality Painting. If you are in the habit of trying to save a penny , remember that you get what you pay for. My money is better spent on people that do things right the first time without even asking if they should. read more

I highly recommend ESR Painting for both your interior and exterior painting needs. After reaching out, Erick came by promptly to give me a very fair quote to paint the interior of our home. I was instantly impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. He actually encouraged me to get multiple quotes and to go with the company I felt most comfortable with. I took his advice, and after 2 more quotes, I decided on ESR. We scheduled a start date about a week from the initial meeting. We have a 2-story house and Erick and his team devised a strategy to limit our disruption as much as possible. From day 1, I was so impressed by the care taken to ensure there'd be no damage to our furniture, floors, etc. Everything was covered and masked off with such precision, and detailed photos were taken to get everything back to its proper spot after completion. The whole process took almost two weeks. The team leader would arrive each morning and ask if I had any questions or concerns about the previous day's work. I'm a bit OCD about perfection and if I had any concerns about a potential issue, it would be corrected immediately and with zero pushback. I've worked with about a dozen contractors over the past 6 months during our home renovation and I can say the team at ESR Painting is one of a select few that I would happily work with again and confidently refer to friends and family. We've even had them come back to do a few smaller exterior jobs. Thanks Erick and your entire team for making our home beautiful. read more

Erick and his team are amazing. They did such a wonderful job painting the exterior of our house - we couldn't be happier. They were so thorough and took such care to make everything perfect. Can't recommend them highly enough! read more

We recently had the ESR team paint the exterior of our 1909 Craftsman bungalow and we would highly recommend them! The price was reasonable with no add-ons; they were there (early) when they said they would be; and the crew did an excellent job. Their attention to detail was awesome: the detail in the back buildings facing the alley was as detailed as the front of the house. Clean-up was done every day. When they left at the end of the day and consolidated their supplies and equipment, you wouldn't have known they were there. Erick's communication with us was very proactive. We had some rain delays and he kept us abreast of when they would be there if there was going to be rain. Kevin and the crew were friendly and polite. Thanks to Erick, Kevin and the whole crew! read more

I highly recommend ESR Quality Painting. They are the real deal. They carry insurance, I checked. With the project I had them working on, insurance coverage was a requirement. They were not the cheapest quote I received but they were not the most expensive either. The painters who worked on the project were respectful, professional and open to answering any questions I had. The best part about my experience with ESR Quality Painting is that they are really good painters. The paint job is flawless. It was worth every penny I paid. I would hire them again. read more

ESR Quality Painting did an outstanding job this past few weeks painting our house which was built in 1955. Erick gave me a great quote and was thorough as to the prep and painting time needed. His painters Samuel and Julio were excellent. Absolutely the best paint job I have ever had in my life. 45 years at this location and the house has never looked better I will be using ESR in the future for inside painting. We had ESR paint my in-laws house and they could not be happier. After the power washing Erick discovered some leaks around a window and some of exterior stucco. From the first phone call to final payment - Eric from ESR Painting really came to the rescue (for a good price) on a last minute paint job we needed to touch up some walls in our rental home when we (luckily) got new tenants a lot quicker than expected. He had Luis come out on a saturday, when I had only called less than 2 days before. They were booked solid, but somehow they made it happen. Even with short notice, they gave 100% quality service. Taped everything off, layed down paper to walk on, taped up plastic in areas for protection, and offered extra advice on touch-ups he was able to add in. I've worked with many contractors over the past 20 years, and these guys are the real deal! I already have more jobs lined up for them. read more

ESR had previously painted the exterior and did a great job. So, when a tenant moved out, I asked ESR to paint the interior. Erick the owner recommended painting after, rather than before, the floors were sanded and refinished by another vendor Which is good advice! Otherwise, sawdust from the sanded floors could coat the newly painted walls. Geremias ran the ESR crew. They used paint colors of my choosing. I picked the colors before Geremias arrived. (The color consultants at the Dunn-Edwards paint store helped me pick the colors. They do this for free.) When Geremias and his crew were done, I showed the empty unit to prospective tenants. Quite a few of them commented on how good the painting looked inside. That was music to this landlord's ears! Much of the credit for how well it rented, goes to ESR Quality Painting. And to the Dunn-Edwards color consultants. :) I already knew ESR did great exterior painting. Now I can officially recommend their interior painting too! read more

I am a little slow getting to this, but providing Erick with a 5-Star review has been on the back of my mind since he, Carlos, and his crew finished the job painting and repairing the exterior of my home in Claremont in late June. I can't say enough about the professionalism Erick brings to his company but his dedication to this is reflected in all of his employees. They took on a really big job that required a considerable amount of repair work, even replacing old siding and numerous pieces of window trim. Erick provided a very thorough proposal up front, and communication was great all the way to the end of the project. The house is big and the original plan was for for a 3-week job. Carlos the crew leader, was very concerned about doing a job I would be happy with and the guys in the crew were equally concerned. This was truly a crew that I was impressed with. The job wasn't finished until almost 5-weeks but Carlos and the crew of 4 and sometimes 5 guys were here 5 days a week until the job was done. After completion Erick walked the job with me making sure I was happy. He found things I didn't see and made sure those things were corrected. I have been having a great deal of work done on my house since moving in but without a doubt the best contractor I have used for any of the work has been ESR Quality Painting. If you want a really good job done by a professional company, at a reasonable price look no further. You may have to wait until he can free a crew for your job but wait. You will be happy you did. Thanks Erick and Carlos and your whole team. I'll call you when I'm ready for more of eth inside of the house to be done. read more

Erick and his crew painted my entire house - interior and exterior - last year. They did it all - powerwashing, new stucco in a few places, drywall repairs, and painting everything from walls to fascia board to baseboards. Eric was always easy to communicate with (which is a rare thing in the construction world, I promise you), and happy to go above and beyond to help with any issue that came up along the way. Highly recommended. If you're looking for a great house painter with reasonable prices (who is also an awesome person), you really don't have to look anywhere else. read more

Upon interviewing more than a dozen local contractors, we have decided to choose Erick's company, which truly lives up to its name (ESR Quality Painting, Inc.) as well as customers' expectations. Erick and his crew did an amazing job for me. I had my outside concrete walls repainted, power washed the ivy roots on my walls and did some stucco repair on my house. Erick came out quickly knowing that I needed it to be done soon and got the job done. I highly recommend using ESR for your painting needs. Excellent customer service. We are thrilled with the work done by ESR Painting. They came on time, did everything they said they would, were easy to communicate with, kept everything clean and tidy, finished on schedule, and they put A TON of effort into our project. I was actually surprised how nice everything came out and we absolutely love it!! Contacted ESR to estimate for a single story home in Hacienda Heights that needed exterior painting and replacement of 50 year old wood rafters and the replacement of a worn, rotting and damaged wood rafter in the patio. Erick delivered our quote in such a forthright manner, never trying to upsell anything. His understanding and readiness to do the exact job we were asking for was unbelievable. When the job started Carlos and his crew were such professionals and hard-working during the entire 5 days. They went above and beyond what we were expecting with everything and knew exactly what to do. I was seriously awestruck by their experience and capabilities. They patched and repaired everything, sealed all the cracks ... truly impeccable, thorough and clean work. We couldn't be happier with the results. They made a 50 year old home turn brand new and the whole time treated the process like they were working on their own home. I knew they were good because we got a reference from another home around the block who did similar work but wow, just wow. We met with 5 other places before deciding to go with ESR and it was undoubtedly the correct choice. If anyone ever needs paint or woodworking services I will always recommend them. In fact, my neighbor's house needs work done and we have already passed them their contact info. ESR took care of us so properly that I now would like to do anything I could to ensure their business thrives. They are true masters of their trade and do such honest work with maximum integrity and reasonable prices. I'd give them 10+ stars if I could. Thank you Erick, Carlos and team ESR!! read more

We saw Erick and his team painting a house in our neighborhood and needing to have ours painted, we called for an estimate. Erick came out to see what we needed to have painted and if there were any repairs; we needed the exterior of our home, a patio, a potting shed, a metal shed, and a retaining wall. He provided a very reasonable estimate and we scheduled the work. The team showed up on time and ready to work each day. They are amazing, they work methodically and carefully, and they're very tidy. After powerwashing and sanding they noticed some damaged wood that we were not aware of and provided a price to replace it and we had them take care of that as well. In the end our home looks better than it ever has. We are so happy with the work Erick and his team did. They will be our go to for any and all painting needs going forward. read more

As a homeowner, "Licensed, Bonded, and Insured" is a huge deal. I was able to verify this company's license and bond before I hired them. Eric provided copies of his current certifications, bond and insurance when I signed the contract. All communications and visits happened when Eric said they would...I was never left waiting. Eric honored his original estimate even though I accepted after the 30-day estimate expiration. Eric was very patient while we chose colors. He painted several patches with colors that we were considering, leaving the sample cans for us to keep. The crew arrived when they said they would, and left on schedule. I was always notified of the following day's schedule of activities, and the crew completed the work when and where promised. My 65 year old house looks new again. I look forward to hiring ESR Quality Painting for future projects. And I certainly would recommend this company to a friend! Thanks again for your hard work in the Summer heat. Great job! read more
