I reached out to Fermin to remove and redo the stucco on the exterior of a window so I could replace it inside. He was very thorough, and very communicative of what he will be doing to make sure the job is done right. Him and Marina make a great team to make sure it looks like (or better than) how it looked before they started! They made sure to clean up everything well since it's the second story and we won't be going up there as easily. It was all much appreciated! Changing out this window was giving me a headache, but having found Fermin made it so much easier, I'm keeping his info for future stucco projects! read more

Had an appointment we agreed on a time, but there was no call no show. Would appreciate an honest answer if he will show up or not.

We hired Fermin to fix an exterior wall adjacent to a roofed section. Because we changed from tile to shingle a significant gap had opened up and it left a section opened to the elements. Fermin was the first to respond and he set up a time to come out to give an estimate. Not only was he doing the stucco but he said he was going to replace and add the proper flashing to make the work waterproof. He started work a few days later and finished promptly a couple days later. We are definitely going to call Fermin again for some future work. read more

Fermin CRUSHED this job!! We had a new security door installed and needed the surrounding stucco to be patched. I sent out for quotes and Fermin was a super fast responder. His communication was great and I liked his vibe, hired. The day he came out, he kept me informed of arrival time and ended up being early. When he and his fabulous assistant Marina were finished, it was flawless, like there was never a spot that needed patching, and clean like he was never here. Fermin takes pride in his work and it shows. He's a pro with a great attitude, fair pricing, and reviews back that up. Need stucco work? Call Fermin, you'll be glad you did. read more

I don't remember how I found Fermin but I sure am glad that I did. I wanted to have some of my windows framed out with the stucco cladded foam trim to match the front of the house. Called and left message for Fermin. Fermin was quick to respond. Fermin kept in communication with me regarding his arrival time. The plumbers had made a hole in the exterior wall to run a new drain. The hole was made of brick, scratch coating, and stucco. To duplicate the covering would have cost a lot of money. Fermin was very thorough in his evaluation. He recommended a waterproof composite that would that would completely fill hole as well as bring the depth of the hole flush with the existing stucco. Fermin kept me updated on each step. Fermin even spot painted other areas for no additional cost as well as fill a smaller electrical hole that needed to be filled. Fermin is a great communicator, very polite, professional, hard worker, efficient, produces a finished product second to none, honest, and his prices are very fair; Fermin also cleaned up the work area better than he found it. I will be definitely using Fermin in the future as well as referring him accordingly. read more

We hired Fermín to help identify and repair water leaks from the stucco. There were multiple points of entry (including the door, old corbel, and we thought the roof). He was very quick to respond, spent a good 30+ minutes looking around opening up drywall, looking at the stucco from the outside. He recommended completing a water test (which he completed) to determine where the leak(s) were coming in. After doing one water test, he made repairs with paper and wiring, then with a weekend of heavy rain the water test failed. He came back and took everything out and replaced it. The second water test passed. He had a crew of three (shout out Mari and the other gentleman!). Of course, after he was out here, we found 3-4 secondary areas that needed stucco, and he was happy to repair these (AC unit, closing off gaps between stucco and the roof). What I appreciate most is his level of professionalism, educating me as a homeowner, and just overall honesty. The price was was very reasonable, and the quality was superb. Cannot recommend Fermín enough! read more

unfortunately, i need to update my review. the work he did on my house is great, but i referred my dad to him for some drywall work and, after agreeing to do the work, he has not yet followed through. my dad did tell him to do it "at his convenience" but fermin took that to mean that he could show up without calling late one evening. after my dad told him he didn't want him working in his home at night, he said he understood, left, and did not contact my dad as to when he would return. he has not contacted my dad once after having ample opportunity to check his schedule and make good on his agreement to do the job. when i called him on my dad's behalf, he told me he would show up on a saturday that was coming up. he did not call me or my dad to confirm before that date and, when that date came, he did not show up. i called him again and he said that he had a fever and wouldn't be able to make it. he said he wanted the work and would be in touch. nothing 2+ weeks later. don't care if you do good work. you need to follow through on what you say you're going to do. read more
