    Texture match was perfect.

Kerry was very professional and patiently answered our questions. The work Kerry and his team did was great. They basically removed and restucco'd an entire wall of my house, in addition to putting in new insulation and a few framing wood pieces due to termite damage they found. The texture match was also perfect. I would definitely call him again for any future work! I also thought the price we paid was fair considering five people came and quickly/efficiently did the work.

Had to change out the larger window to accommodate smaller one

Kerry did a great job. He notified me if his start time and called and gave an updated time. He arrived and didn't waste any time getting started. He was very pleasant to deal with. Continued to update me on his progress. When he finished, he left the work site cleaner than when he started. The job he preformed was nothing short of an artist. He blended the new with the old and I couldn't tell where one started and the other began. I would highly recommend him.

I wonder if Kerry's Patching is related to Kerry Gold because his work is smooth as butter! Get it?? no? okay...so anywho I contacted Kerry to do some extensive stucco and some light drywall work per the recommendation on Nextdoor app. Anxious, I waited for his walk through because I was afraid of how expensive the price would be. But when he went over the options with me I was no joke elated with his pricing and said yes on the spot! He himself and his crew arrived around 9am and got to work. After a full days of work in demolitioning and prepping for cement, the sun was fading so they decided it would be best to come back the next day to do the patching. Day two the crew arrived a bit earlier and went to work. I like to observe when contractors work because I enjoy knowing how to do things however I was busy myself with tons of errands to do. by the time I got back, they were pretty much done, cleaning up and doing some finishing touches. It looked great! I asked him to give me a quote on some drywall corner cracks and peeling as well as an entire door frame needing drywall work. His price once again was great and he was back out a week later fixing those things as well. My wife is very happy with the work Kerry has done, we have put it off for over 2 years because of my lack of motivation...and now I just need to complete it with some paint. My take aways from this experience: Price 5/5, He might be the most fair priced patcher in all of the OC area. Punctuality 4.5/5, He didnt set a hard start time which can kind of keep you guessing and waiting but he did show up in the "morning" as promised. Work ethics: 5/5 he and his crew worked consistantly from start to finish with only a lunch break, thats impressive yall! Communication: 3.5/5. Kerry is a busy guy, once you get to speak with him, he will be up front with you that sometimes you wont hear from him and if you dont by a certain day to reach back out to him. Remember, he doesnt have a full staff answering calls for him or anything like that, hes truly running a small business by himself with the help of maybe 3 others in the labor side. He has to answer calls, return calls, come out to give bids all while patching peoples homes. All said and done, I'm glad to have done business with Kerry and his crew and will continue to do so. I'll also continue to recommend his business to others when they ask me if I know anyone that does patch work.

Cut out area that needed to be stuccoed

Kerry did a fantastic job on repairing and patching the stucco after a valve replacement on the side of our house. It is impossible to tell that any cuts were previously made to that section of the wall. Kerry came highly recommended by a plumbing/sprinkler repair company and I will definitely use Kerry for any future drywall/stucco repairs that come up.

Kerry's company is GREAT! They showed up yesterday on time, set up, did the work and cleaned up! Very nice, and professional! Did a GREAT job! Everything is even now, now cracks, and ready to paint! Will use again after I make a couple of changes to my kitchen for sure! Thanks guys! PS Thanks for the referral as well!

Aston carved out some time on his weekend to come check out the job and provide a quote. He was super upfront about what he could do and gave us recommendations even if we didn't move forward with him. He answered ALL of our questions and made us feel very at ease (especially after working with a contractor that was the complete opposite). Aston emailed me a very detailed and reasonable quote that evening and we hired him that next day. He is seriously one of the best contractors I've worked with (I work with contractors for a living so I've seen the full spectrum of good, bad, and ugly). He is super friendly and VERY communicative. I would rather have someone that over-communicates than under, because it removes assumptions from both sides. The work he does looks really great. He is extremely tidy and cleaned up the areas at the end of every day. He was able to match the old French lace texture we have over a fairly large area. His work has held up wonderfully, especially after the week and a half or rain we just had. Pictures posted are the before, in process, and unpainted finished work. HIGHLY recommend.

This is my revise review on P&R Lathing…read more To save time I won't go into all the details, but I hired P&R Lathing to remove and replace the weep screed and replace the black waterproofing paper at my home. When the work was finished, I believed everything had been done correctly and I initially left a positive review. I cannot remove the review so I am updating it. Later, I hired a mold remediation company to address a separate issue. During their work they removed a full wall of drywall. When they finished their process, the owner showed me that daylight was visible through multiple gaps at the bottom of the wall by the weep screed. If I didn't have the drywall removed I would have never known that the work was done improperly and would have ended up getting mold again. He explained that if the problem is not corrected, Moisture and pests can enter and mold will return. It appears that when P&R Lathing installed the weep screed, there are many gaps where you could see daylight from the outside. Because of this, insects came inside the house and had moisture intrusion entered the wall cavity, and during rains my mudsill, 2x4's and the interior of the black paper was wet. I had to run air blowers and a dehumidifier to dry the area to prevent mold from returning. I contacted Richard Warren, the owner of P&R Lathing, and asked him to resolve the problem. He said just put some caulking on the inside and outside. That is a band aid I paid almost $5,000 hired a licensed contractor because I wanted it to be done the right way! You are not supposed to put caulking on the outside or else you will get mold. I even offered to pay for the removal and replacement of the weep screed as long as it was corrected properly, without any additional profit to him since the original work had already been paid for. He had a worker paint on the foundation a cement sealer that didn't work. As a result, I filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) and am currently waiting for them to resolve the issue. In my opinion, I would recommend hiring a different contractor. While the workers were doing the work, Richard never came by to check on the quality of the work. He only came at the beginning to show the crew where to do the work and returned again when the job was finished to collect the payment.
