Jorge did an amazing job on replacing our smelly shower which had compromised floor tiles. He demo'd the old shower to the studs, removed a window and framed a wall, had it hot mopped, removed an awkward dropped ceiling (a feature from the 1970s!) and installed green board so the ceiling was flush with the rest of the bathroom, prepped the entire shower walls and floor with concrete (none of those waterproof boards!), and then installed the tile beautifully. He also replaced a toilet for us. He had a plumber/electrician come by to install the valve and wet rated ceiling light above the shower. He worked with my wife to get the spout at the correct height and installed enough room for her to put all her shampoos and bottles in the wall shelves. She was so delighted and happy with his work. Jorge was super kind, polite, nice to my kids and family, and was so honest. I overpaid him by several hundred dollars in a miscalculation accident after the job was done and he refunded me the money. His tile work is impeccable. I had the shower doors installed by a glass company afterward and they said he did a good job. The electrical guy he subbed the wet rated lamp didn't connect a neutral wire to the smarthome connected light and so it's not able to get power when the switch is off (to allow it to be controlled remotely).... That's my only complaint. The light still works with the switch. I would not hesitate to recommend Jorge for any tiling job you have. Jorge did a great job and his price was very reasonable. Our new house had a terribly dated brown center design in our backsplash. The previous owner did not have any additional tiles left over and we could not source an exact match to the surrounding tiles. We broke a 30 year old ceramic shower shelf and wanted to have it sawed out and replaced with plain tiles that our original owners had thoughtfully saved (major props to them!) but we didn't have the neighboring trim tiles so the utmost care needed to be taken when removing the broken shelf otherwise we'd have to redo the entire shower. This is not review of the service itself but poor response to my request for a job. When I spoke to the gentleman told him this would be a small job, to basically patch up tiles in the shower where the soap dish holder had come off. On the phone he sounded like he was interested in the job coz he asked me mail him pics so he could give an estimate which I did.
