I don't write reviews very often unless I feel very passionately about something, but this review is warranted. This company is amazing. Marco is the kindest, most professional, punctual, and communicative person I've ever worked with. I was able to get a next day in person quote (quick process) and then schedule a next day carpet/rug/couch deep clean. I also scheduled an additional appointment for him to come back the following week to clean the tile and grout in our showers. Not only did he show up the exact minute my appointment was for, he managed to get both services done the same day so we didn't have to have him come back. Marco works SO hard and takes great pride in his work, he's so detail oriented (and I'm super picky). We will absolutely be using him again and I've already texted his info to a ton of friends. I give props to hubby in finding Extremely Clean Carpet Cleaning, probably from Yelp or Google. They were very quick to respond to our initial request, and Marco was able to schedule a visit with us that worked with our schedules very well. Marco was on-time for the quote, and was able to take the measurements needed for the requested cleaning and answer all questions that I had. A quote was quickly provided at the end of the visit. Scope of work was for carpet cleaning, grout cleaning, and epoxy floor cleaning, and the price worked well for us. After discussing with hubby on all of the fine points, we were able to schedule an ideal date for Marco to come out for the task. On the appointed date, we decided to ask Marco last-minute if he could quote an additional service when he was there, specifically for cleaning the grout on the kitchen countertops. He was able to take a look at the request, provided a quick quote when he was on-site, and was able to complete the work on the same-day as the large project once we agreed to the price. Because we weren't there, Marco was able to take pictures of his work, and pointed out anything that might be a concern (e.g., paint on the carpet that might not be able to be removed). Everything looked great on camera, and it was honestly even better once we were able to see the product of his work a few days later. SO CLEAN. Marco was able to take care of the main problem areas we were concerned with, and practically took things to an almost-new status. VERY IMPRESSED. He was able to lock things up, and left without any messes (which was fairly difficult to do because it was raining that day). I've never used a cleaning service before so I was calling a few places to get some estimates before selecting Extremely Clean Carpet Cleaning. Out of all the local cleaners, they are the most affordable. I had three area rugs serviced. Two 7x10 and one 5x7. The job took less than two hours and the price was less than $200. The communication was great, the price was great. The clean of the carpets could have been a lot better than what I expected. I take some part for not checking out the first rug after it was done but the cleaning of the carpets was okay. You can definitely still see where it needed more cleaning. I would have been fine adding additional services or taking suggestions from the cleaner but I didn't get any recommendations or additional services offered. The clean is okay. There is a faint musky smell after placing the carpets inside. I don't think I'd use them again. read more

I've been using a competitor for years but noticed his service has not been "up to snuff" and wanted to try someone new. I came across the great reviews of Extreme and sent them a quote request. I sent a quote request via yelp and got an answer within the hour. I live in a cookie cutter condo/townhouse. The homes are not large at all. Marco gave me a ballpark figure of $200 for - a living room, - master bedroom, - 3 flights of stairs (8-10 steps each) with landing - and a hallway. He said the final figure will be given after he assessed the place in person. I said I am not going to go over $200 and he assured me it wouldn't. I wanted to think about it, but he asked if we can pencil in a date, and I said April 7th. I wasn't too thrilled of being asked to "lock a date" but its a good sales tactic to get the customer to commit. Marco is a one man show. He's owner and operator. We had a 4:30 appointment, but I had to move it to a 3:00 appointment as I needed to be out by 5:15. I asked him to text me when he was on the way, and he did, and he was prompt. He greeted me with his card, and like others said put on booties before he walked through my place, and assessed the area needing work. My price came to $210, which I asked for $200 flat. He agreed. He vacuums my house prior to steam cleaning, something that his competitor did not do. He parked behind my garage and got to work. It's just before 5:00 and he's just about done. The carpets look better than before and my home smells "clean". Marco didn't leave my place a watery mess, which is good. He also gave me spare booties to keep my carpets clean while they dried. So why not a 5 star? Inconsistency. In our initial communication, I specified that I did not want to go over $200. He assured me it wouldn't. But, it did. This may sound petty but when we messaged each other a week prior, and I stated I didn't want to go over an amount, he should have remembered I had a strict budget. Was it "Extremely clean"? He came on Friday, and today is Monday. The carpets still look great. The soiled spots have not reappeared, so that's a good sign. Would I use Marco again? Sure, but I'd emphasize that I am still not going to go over my budget, no matter what I'm quoted. read more

Both were well groomed and wore professional matching uniforms. Explained what type of carpet my apartment has and explained it was a very cheap material. The first time was about two years ago when we needed our high traffic areas cleaned. I was really pleased with outcome as nearly every stain was removed and the carpet was lush uniform. We had Marco out again to clean the high traffic areas and some nasty adhesives patches, dirt and dust that was ground into the carpet after a kitchen remodel. I messaged this company for a general pricing, and they got back to me within 24 hours. In order to provide a quote, they needed to come out to evaluate and we could either proceed with the service same day or schedule another time, or refuse. I booked an evening appointment last week. They texted me a link to gps track Marco (the co-owner) when he was on his way. Marco came on time to my condo, and he gave us a quote of $200 for one living room, 14 stairs, a hall way with pet treatment. This was our first time having our carpet professional cleaned, so I really don't know if the price was competitive or or. However, my husband and I agreed to proceed and have the service done the same day. It took about 1.5-2 hours to complete.
