In order to provide a quote, they needed to come out to evaluate and we could either proceed with the service same day or schedule another time, or refuse. I booked an evening appointment last week. They texted me a link to gps track Marco (the co-owner) when he was on his way. Marco came on time to my condo, and he gave us a quote of $200 for one living room, 14 stairs, a hall way with pet treatment. This was our first time having our carpet professional cleaned, so I really don't know if the price was competitive or or. However, my husband and I agreed to proceed and have the service done the same day. It took about 1.5-2 hours to complete. Dare I say that we haven't had Marco steam clean our carpets or floor tile since the pre-pandemic era...and while it needed cleaning, Marco does such an amazing job every time that it doesn't look that badly to us between the cleanings. He's got a magic touch with the ceramic tile grout. We trust Marco because he is honest, careful and thorough in his work, punctual, and communicative. To us, his prices are very fair. I waited awhile before writing this review, because Marco was friendly and personable and he got the job done. Unfortunately for me, I was too naive when I first called him and have since had WAY better experiences. My deal was supposed to include a cleaning of my couch (which wasn't that dirty). When he arrived to clean two small bedrooms that barely fit queen beds, (the rest of the place is uncarpeted) all of a sudden they were "too dirty" and would take too much time. The couch was no longer included and I was charged MORE than his competitors (with tax). What irks me is I just received a coupon for $10 off my next service with him for being such a "good customer". Well no, kidding. It's the oldest trick in the book. Offer a coupon and then charge MORE. I have found when dealing with many honest companies that they don't need to offer these discounts if they are doing the proper job. Marco ended up costing me MORE money in the end than the other guys and I received less of a service. Not only will he not receive repeat business from me, but now I wanted to share this with other honest Yelpers. I am sure that most of the reviews on here are legit, but considering mine are usually 3-4 on average, you be the judge. It's unfortunate because those two rooms need cleaning again. As for the couch? I bought my own steam cleaner that works fine and I can do it myself quite quickly. I hope that Marco reads this because perhaps he will think twice before taking advantage of an unsuspecting customer. In the end, it will cost him way more because I also belong to a network of neighbors who share everything. I'm very disappointed with this service. I chose this company because there were a lot of good reviews posted. Many are right.... The guy that came out was very courteous and professional which was nice. However, the service was a disappointment. I am giving 1 star for professionalism. My carpets were pretty bad, I know that's why it took so long to write this review. I wanted to give him a good review because he was so nice and professional. The guy said he would move furniture that was not heavy which was not true. He didn't move anything at all. They claim they go above and beyond but they don't. Maybe this guy was having an off day, I don't know. I also asked him to turn each window fan on when he was done with each room since he only did the upstairs rooms. He said he would but didn't. From the very first conversation I had with Marco to get a quote to clean my hardwood floor and carpet, I already had the feeling that I will hire him to do the job. I have requested quotes from many other carpet cleaning companies and none of them said that they would come to the house and give the exact final amount of what we have to pay. Marco came out one day to measure the sq footage and to see how dirty it is and give us the exact amount. This is important for me because there is no surprises. He arrived on time, answered and explained all of questions. We decided to hire him to clean our wood floors, carpet and refinish the wood floors. Today, he came in the morning to do the job and at first after going through the dirty and smelly vacang house, he said that there were a lot of dust in the house and left over paint everywhere on the wood floor because our painter did not cover the floors when they paint. So he could not do the refinishing of of the wood. I was so disappointed but I also understood his explanation. However, he ended up cleaning all the dirt and refinish the wood floors and almost all the paint were gone! Its amazing what he did to our house and it looks and smells great! Exceptional service. Left a voicemail at 8am, received a call at 10am and Marco was knocking on my door at 2pm. Scheduling was a breeze with Heather and I received text alerts when the appointment was scheduled, when Marco was in route, when the service was quoted and completed.
