Dave is an excellent, and very knowledgeable contractor, who not to mention has tiling skills with an artisan touch. I cant say enough about his tile work, but all the pictures posted here, speak for themselves about that. He recently completed a major kitchen remodel for me, ranging from gutting, opening walls, electrical, plumbing, layout, cabinets, and tile, etc. His approach was methodical and planned. He was also able to explain issues clearly and suggest options that provided some flexibility in design and budget. When he said he would be there, he was there, and always started work right away, leaving at a reasonable time. So many contractors delay jobs or skip days to take on other work, so it was a huge plus for me that he completed the job in the time he said it would take. He also brought in some subcontractors who were ALL very skilled and trustworthy. David Barnes at Tile Décor is awesome. He installed our kitchen backsplash and did an amazing job. A few months later, we asked David to install a new toilet in our master bath. David told us where to purchase it then he installed it when he had a small break in his schedule. While he was here, we mentioned that the kitchen sink keeps filling up with water. He checked it out and discovered we had a leak under the house. He found the source of the leak behind our dishwasher and repaired it and did a great job repairing the drywall that had to be removed to reach the leak. Then he figured out that the drainage issue was caused by a plugged waterline. Even though he had a full schedule, he considered our problem an emergency and proceeded to correct the problem. It even involved using a company specializing in clearing major waterline stoppages. David always arrives on time and is always courteous, humorous and upfront with all costs. My husband and I are happy to be able to recommend David and his company Tile Decor. We had a giant shower that was a giant problem! Cracked tile, wood damage, and water pooling issues. With David's help we were able to envision a shower that far exceeded our expectations. We did not want to remodel our entire bathroom and David was able to come up with a solution that flowed with the current decor without it being "matchy". I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am to this company. I had major damage to my rental property after a tenant left it a mess and I couldnt be more happy with the repairs made. Dave did a awesome job on removing a patch of carpet in the middle of my tile floor. You can't tell the new from the old. He shows up on time and finished on time. I wanted a ceiling fan in my living room and was told it can't be done because of the open beams and I would have wires showing if I did. Dave recommended & installed 2 No wires showing very custom.
