We had all three of our bathrooms remodeled along with our kitchen countertops, so this was a huge project that lasted nearly two months. Throughout the entire process, Ben and Ivy were fantastic to work with. They were always responsive, communicative, and genuinely helpful every step of the way. No renovation of this size is ever completely stress-free, but they always addressed our questions and concerns quickly and worked hard to keep everything moving. What we appreciated most was their commitment to meeting our deadline so everything was finished before our family arrived from overseas. They went above and beyond to make that happen. The quality of the work turned out great, and we're so happy with our new bathrooms and kitchen. We highly recommend Ben, Ivy, and their team to anyone looking for a reliable, professional remodeling company. read more

After being approved for financing, we decided that we did not want to utilize the full loan amount. Throughout the process, we felt pressured to proceed with the maximum financing available. We also did not receive a detailed cost breakdown from Ben and had to ask to speak to someone else. He told us many times "sorry, this is good as I can do, it's a bundle deal", which made us uncomfortable feeling like he was hiding prices from us. After obtaining additional estimates from other contractors, we were advised that several of the smaller handyman-type items included in the proposal appeared to be significantly overpriced. As a result, we requested that those items be removed from the scope of work. However, despite removing multiple services, the overall project cost remained essentially unchanged, which further raised concerns. We ultimately decided to limit the project to repairing our shower pan leak. At that point, Nathan informed that the company could no longer do business with us. Unfortunately, this left us feeling that the focus was more on maximizing the project value than on addressing our actual needs as customers. We value transparency, clear communication, and flexibility when making significant home improvement decisions, and our experience did not reflect those expectations. read more

The quote was over twice as much as the contractor I found. I cannot rate their work. I've never had a guy come to my house to estimate a job, that wasn't going to actually come back to do the work. That's been my experience. The man was very nice & professional. read more

Recommend. Noah and crew were prompt and courteous. The work turned out just as we conceived of it. With only a couple minor snags we got done earlier than expected! Great communication along the way and post installation. read more

Any issue that came up Ben and Ivy were right on top of it inspecting every detail. We ended up adding on new flooring, windows, and a new sliding glass door downstairs. A total bathroom remodel by the Calif Home Ctr team. The crew always appeared on time- with no missing days! All were very professional and the work was done to exacting standards. The day after signing the contract, the existing bathroom was totally demolished! The team installed protective sheeting over all flooring and curtains separating the bathroom from the bedroom. The work proceeded on a tight schedule, finishing in one months time. I highly recommend Noah and his team for any remodeling projects. read more

California Home Center reached out after I published these concerns and were sincere about wanting to correct what I found to be inadequate and wanting to provide a good product. The grout border around the sink was replaced, and looks cleaner and more even now. Grout was added to the toilet they installed so that it no longer wobbles. read more

5+ Stars! CHC is professional, quick, true to their quote, and got the job done in 10-days. Our project manager was Nathan, who was readily available and easy to communicate with. Nathan listened, answered my questions, offered smart options, and understood the job. His crew were professional, respectful, hardworking and cleaned up after every workday. After hearing many horror stories, I am very wary of contractors but, CHC and Nathan restored my faith that good and trusting contractors exist. Their 5-star review on Yelp, Thumbtack and Google are well deserved. They are very impressive and will not disappoint! Nathan and his crew went above and beyond to make me happy. I will definitely hire CHC for any future projects and highly recommend them for your remodel project. read more

We had our bathroom remodeled by California Home Center and Dean was our project manager. Honestly, he made everything feel easy from the start. He checked in often, made sure we understood what was going on, and really listened when we wanted to make small changes. The bathroom looks completely different now brighter, clean, and way more modern. Dean and his crew were respectful in the house and kept things tidy through the whole job. It actually finished pretty close to the time they said, which surprised us. We're really happy with how it turned out. read more

These guys cold called me, and asked to come to my house. When I refused because I don't want strangers that cold call me to come to my place of residence, I get a pretty confrontational and abrasive attitude that was practically yelling at me. Frankly the whole experience was strange. Can't speak about the quality of this company's work, but I can definitely say the way they treat people is terrible. read more

When we decided to remodel our kitchen, Dean was the project manager and honestly made the whole process easier to handle. From the first day, he was organized and clear about what to expect. He helped us choose the right layout and materials that actually fit our space instead of pushing unnecessary upgrades. The crew showed up on time every day, and Dean checked in constantly to make sure things were going according to plan. Even when a few small issues came up, he handled them right away without any excuses. The kitchen turned out beautiful the cabinets, lighting, and backsplash all tie together perfectly. Dean really cared about getting it right, and it shows every time I walk in there now. read more

I continue to receive cold calls from this company after I have told them not to call. When you call to speak with a supervisor or the owner Ben, they tell you they are not available. The employee Mark Miller is extremely rude and has no business calling people. In addition, he threatened to be at my house in an hour "to see me". Beware of this company and their employees. read more

Some problems with the work was corrected however, not all the work done was correctly completed there are slight dip in front of the refrigerator, also a compartment in my cabinetry was cut incorrectly, my invisible screen was partially removed and never reattached. I still stand by my previous comment, buyer beware. No where has the company made any attempt to make me feel like a satisfied customer. I've had other tradesman that made sure I was a satisfied customer, roofer, window contractor, because of this company's attitude I did not spend another dime with them. read more

Had someone come to the house and went through every little detail of what we wanted that took a total of a few hours. Told him we wanted an itemized quote because he gave us a total number that was way more than we were expecting. He said we would hear back in a few days, not a problem. Unfortunately, we never heard back from the guy AT ALL. Waste of time and do not recommend. Also, do not want to work with someone I have to run after to get their business when there are plenty of other businesses that will get back to you when they say they will. Hard pass. read more
