Thai Milk Tea

Yeah 3 is pretty fair. They have a huge menu list which is cool, but I have a feeling a lot of the milk teas taste the same, pretty weak flavoring and I've had a couple different ones now. Bob also hard and not very warm or syrupy

We were craving boba late at night and this was open near us. I love how they are open until midnight but still offer quality drinks and snacks. Quickly has been around for a long time and their menu seems to get bigger and bigger. They offer so many drinks and snacks! The staff was friendly. We were greeted right when we came in. You order on the self order kiosk but you can also order online for pick up. It was pretty busy one hour before closing but our drinks still came out very fast.

Matcha brown sugar boba latte, first few sips I was thirsty so didnt taste anything. Noticed bobas were more chewy than I'm used to for boba. Like almost takes too long to chew even for boba standards. A few more sips, thought the flavor was odd. Went back home, took some sips, could taste powdery for some of the sips. Took some more later, tasted better lol. At the end of the day, its boba me likey. Flavor was never bad, was odd once but never disgusted me. I was probably just thirsty today that boba felt too much for me and too chewy, I did pay for 75c boba so idk if that added on to already boba or if all the boba was that 75c I paid for. Popcorn chicken, one of the chicken had hair fried into it, kinda gross. Besides that tho, tasted normal like popcorn chicken. My dad said its the best. Curry fishball, when I hear curry fishball, the one that comes to mind is not of dried fishballs. WHERE IS THE SAUCE. I even asked the lady to get more curry sauce and when she came back, there was like 1% more. Fishballs themselves also tasted alright. If I were to describe it, it tasted like it had a tofu skin loosely wrapped around it. Extra Theres board games, used to have chess (not anymore). They have Jenga, candyland, monopoly, connect four. I dont remember the rest. We played connect four and the game was good, no problems or missing pieces. Theres dine in (during covid it was just pick up only, but its dine in again) Self order is available I used to go to this place a lot as a kid and had a lot of memories here. But even with those memories, I can still tell everything I had had a problem or low quality 3/5

This is an order of tiny but expensive Tofu.

After passing by Genghix Asian Fusion for years, my wife finally suggested we give it a try--and…read moreI'm glad we did. Four of us went for dinner and had a great experience. The interior has that classic, old-school Asian restaurant vibe, almost bordering on a tiki bar feel. I'd heard about Genghix from locals for a long time, and now I understand the appeal. We started with the chicken lettuce cups and seared butterfish--both were excellent, and our 11-year-old especially loved the lettuce cups. For entrées, we ordered seafood Pad Thai, chicken fried rice, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian chicken, and steamed rice. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and easily held its own against some of our go-to spots. We had plenty of leftovers and they tasted great for lunch the next day. Overall, it was a really enjoyable meal, and we're already planning to go back and explore more of the menu. It's extensive and can feel a bit overwhelming, but if you're in the mood for Japanese, Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese cuisine, you'll definitely find something that hits the spot.

Thai infused brunch with eye catching dishes and bold flavors to stimulate your senses will have…read moreyou waking up and then craving for a nap afterwards! Integrated into downtown Hayward just a block from the theater and other eateries and drink spots, Khao Hom has made a strong impression in the local community drawing a good following for weekend brunch as well as weekday lunch. With street parking right in front as well as sharing free public parking in the lot behind the restaurant, once you've slogged through traffic to get to this area, you'll be able to easily park and venture in for your food experience. As you enter, you'll likely need to wait for one of their staff members to seat you in one of their two dining spaces. The rooms are well lit and enhance the ambiance of your meal (and photos) with natural lighting. When seated, you'll get their food and drinks menu in addition to finding their dessert menu at the table. As standard, each table gets a carafe of water for you to serve yourselves. Their menu is quite extensive in representing popular Thai flavors with a bit of flare. You'll find curries, soups, noodles and chef specialties in their own sections of the menu. They also have some alcohol infused drinks for those looking for a full brunch experience. As a novice to some Thai dishes, I did have to ask the staff to explain a bit about certain dishes, but there were a few that caught my eye and never let go. Thai tea - flavorful and bold; rich but not too sweet Matcha latte - rich matcha flavor and creamy; best sipped and can be packed in a to-go cup if you don't finish Tom yum crab omelet - beautifully crafted omurice-esque dish where you'll find white rice encased in an egg omelet topped with succulent pieces of crab meat and smothered in tom yum soup. This dish is not only a pleasure to look at but the taste and textures in each bite will have you salivating for more until the dish completely disappears. This unique take is a must get for first timers! Roti gai tod - crispy fried yet succulent chicken served with a small serving of creamy yellow curry, white rice, and a roti alongside their delicious chili sauce. Fantastic balance of textures and flavors will have your tongue dancing from the spices. Tom kha soup - a bowl of comfort with a whole lot of shredded chicken, red onions, and mushrooms with a few big quarters of fresh tomatoes. It's not as creamy as I would like but the flavor is there with its abundance in lemongrass. The portion is large as one order can easily split into two bowls. Fried ice cream - a meal topper and sweet indulgence for those looking to try something new and rarely found elsewhere. This giant meteorite of a breaded and fried ball of vanilla ice cream is topped with chocolate fudge, powdered sugar, a generous helping of whipped cream and plenty of fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, grapes, and cantaloupe). Definitely shareable and a surprising star of their dessert menu - they could definitely do more to advertise this! The staff were super friendly and quick to take dirty dishes out of the way. They kept the place clean, served the food promptly and treated all of their customers with respect and smiles. Top notch crew from the front of the house to the back. Furthermore, should you need the restrooms, they do have two gender neutral rooms that were decently maintained. Overall, Khao Hom is not your everyday Thai restaurant nor is it your run of the mill brunch spot - this is a unique experience with food created out of passion to merge these together. The result is an aesthetically pleasing yet hunger extinguishing meal that will have you discovering new flavors and craving for more. With its proximity to the city center, it's a great a spot to plan out a lunch or brunch before a nice stroll around or a movie. Thai food has never looked and tasted so good!

We saw a street parking as soon as we turn, and just parked even though it was 1000 ft away. The drink/cocktail list is vast, but we are not much of a cocktail drinker and not usually drink during lunch, but I saw Matcha Sharka being ordered a lot and the other seemingly popular drink was this lavender drink. If you are a cocktail drinker during lunch, do check them out. We ordered 4 shareable items: * Savoy Donuts - 5 stars - fluffy and yummy, not greasy at all * Focaccia w/ Meyer Lemon and Garlic Confit - 4.5 stars - wonderful texture, did not taste the garlic much but the lemon was really good add. * Grilled Beef and Pork Chipolata - 4 stars - I think the star was the dressing. The meat itself was just okay. * Rice Vermicelli Bowl - 4.5 stars - not sure why it is called a bowl when it was served more in a plate. This is the fusion take on the Vietnamese dish with different dressing. We selected the Galangal Pork, which I did not like as much compared to the usual Vietnamese ones with Lemon Grass. There is a choice to select Lemongrass chicken instead, so you might want to try that. The pork tasted "porky" despite it was thinly cut. I was hoping to try dessert, but we were full so we did not do that. Next time. The restaurant is nicely set, and you can select indoor or outdoor seating. We did make a reservation, but when we arrived there were plenty of tables available. Service was fine, we did not get the "is this your first time" greeting as I heard other tables got. Don't expect tons of seating, and it might not be ideal for a huge group, but there's plenty of parking and the service is excellent. Friendly, quick, and on point. Now let's talk food. Popcorn Chicken - Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and perfectly salty. Dangerous in the best way. I could've ordered a second round and called it a day. Won Ton Soup - Different from the usual won ton soup I've had. The broth had a slightly creamy vibe, and it was loaded with dumplings and chicken. Not my favorite dish of the night, but still solid. Hawaiian Platter (three meats + mac salad) - The meats were tender and flavorful, and that mac salad? Delish. Simple, comforting, done right. Kimchi Beef Sizzling Rice Plate (with fried egg + garlic butter) - Ohhhhh the garlic butter!!! This was the MVP. Came out sizzling hot, smelled amazing, and absolutely popped with flavor. Hearty, bold, and just flat-out delicious. Total home run. Bottom line: Great service. Sizzling plates. Full belly. Happy customer. Do yourself a favor -- swing by and support this local spot. When it came time to take food to go, we had to ask for the container, bags, and the right sized containers and the right sized bags. The older woman with the jet black hair was the one who rude and dismissive. When I asked her for a larger bag, she said that was the largest one. I pointed out that we gave them a very generous tip and that I see larger brown bags, but she still did not offer me one. She was very defensive, and said she thought I was referring to a plastic bag. Folks, don't make the mistake of over tipping here. You don't get the service you expect and deserve. The food is good though, but the service sucks! We spent, with the tip, about $240.
