I don't recommend the Mango Sago here because it lacks mango and the taste is not appealing. The first taste was of artificial flavors that got better as I mixed it. I didn't see any mango pieces, just some kind of a puree in the bottom. I was surprised at how small this drink was compared to my wife's drink. The Mango Sago at I-Tea tastes so much better and has pieces of mango that you can enjoy. It's very small and gets filled up. We ended up getting the Mango Sago and the Natural Ube Taro Milk, which were served quickly. The Mango Sago was very meh. It had a very artificial taste to it and just seemed to have syrup in it with Sago and Milk. Thankfully, the Natural Ube Taro Milk was better. It had the paste on the sides of the cup. Super creamy, not too sweet, and had plenty of sago. My mom got the brown sugar milk with no boba and she enjoyed her drink as well. Simple but good. Our total was about $14 before tip. Second time going there I thought the drinks were going to be good and it was actually okay. The reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is the customer service was bad. One of the employees there rolled her eyes at me when I asked for extra sugar in my drink and literally slams my drink on the table after she was done putting sugar in there. I expected her attitude to be like "oh okay, sure1" instead she said "yes" with the ughh way and rolled her eyes at me. I've been going to Boba Bliss since their original location in San Ramon, and I am SO happy to see them thriving in their Castro Valley location! We popped in here for a nice cool treat on a Sunday afternoon. The kitchen was hustling and bustling, but a worker saw us walk in and immediately came up to the register to take our order (even as he saw us approaching the iPad). Both drinks were delicious, better than most places that offers similar drinks. Vietnamese coffee is strong and does the job for caffeine kick. I'm not usually a boba person. Honestly, I think the last time I went to a boba shop was six years ago. This past Friday was really hot and my housekeeper was at my place, so I wanted to treat them to something refreshing. At first, I thought about Jamba Juice, but when I saw it was $9 for a small drink, I decided to look around for other options. That's how I found Boba Bliss. The prices were way more reasonable, so I ordered three strawberry mint green teas with lychee, one for me and two for my housekeepers. I have to admit, this drink kind of changed my opinion on boba shops. It was really good. The flavors all worked well together, and I loved that it came with lime slices and fresh mint inside. The size was bigger than I expected too. Definitely felt worth it compared to Jamba. I wouldn't get this every day since it's more of a sweet treat for me, but I'd definitely come back and try other popular drinks. I placed my order through the app, pickup was super easy, and my drinks were ready as soon as I walked in. I decided to try weekend special Green Thai Milk Tea after having a sugar overload with 7 Leaves' no sugar adjustment version a few weeks prior. I got 25% sweet plus grass jelly and lemme tell you-- PERFECTION! I'm soo craving that drink right now. Green Thai flavor shines through with fresh milk making it all creamy-licious. Grass jelly added a bit of silkiness. My friend got a mango matcha and a mango sago for her son at home to enjoy. Drinks were layered nicely and tasted great. Customer service was pleasant too. This Boba Bliss is located where the former U-Cha used to be located in this little shopper center that's in a fairly busier area right down the street from the main downtown area just around the corner. One of the various Boba Bliss locations that can be found within this part of the bay, Boba Bliss is one of many boba places too in this surrounding area. Boba Bliss will be a slightly less typical version of your traditional boba places, and known for their matcha drinks, but of course will offer a variety of different options as well though not as extensive of a drink menu. This location is pretty busy usually, and best recommendation is to order ahead online and get there for easy and quick pick-up. The store front itself is not very large, but they did remodel it slightly compared to the previous store, and there are more sitting spots now and definitely geared towards to having people hangout within. We will visit this location from time to time and mostly for the online ordering, and things are always fast and no issues. Just walk right in and then grabbed the bag to go. Personal favorites are the jasmine milk tea, and also the mango sago drink. They do offer a variety of different milks in their drinks, so just ask if they forget to let you know about the options though they're usually pretty good about that. The only thing that is a bit of a hurdle here is the parking lot is very awkward and weird, so you may be stuck on congestion sometimes waiting for a spot to open up. Otherwise, solid boba spot down here in Castro Valley. read more

The pistachio jasmine dream tastes like a jasmine milk tea with pistachio cream on top and had chunks of pistachio in it. It is a seasonal drink and I thought it was really delicious!! My bf loved his brown sugar latte, it had a good amount of sweetness and the boba was also really fresh!! Love the interior decor and service was friendly. We were out of town and really needed to use to bathroom but the bathroom was locked. Not sure if the previous person locked it accidentally but I stood there for 10 minutes until we realized no one was in there and asked one of the workers to open it for us. My credit was payment was taking longer than usual. She just stood there. Typically baristas restart the machine by then, but she was just idled. I wish they had ice level percentages just because they still did get pretty watered down with the "less ice" option I ordered. The boba amount was a little excessive for the amount of liquid in the drink and I was left with a lot leftover at the end. Service: 4.5/5: The baristas were all really friendly and helpful in choosing a drink. There were some errors made to my drink, but they were apologetic and quick to rectify them. Price $$: At about $6.75 per drink, this is on the slightly pricier end of boba drinks, but not by much. Because of their unique mix of flavors here, I definitely think it's worth a visit. read more

My go-to is the pistachio matcha bliss with grass jelly. The drink is a good balance of nutty pistachio and earthy matcha. The grass jelly adds some texture and even more earthy flavor. Regular sweet is good - I'd be curious to try less sweet with grass jelly and see what that tastes like. read more

The parking lot situation kind of sucks here, which is why I haven't really made an effort to come out to this location, but better late than never. The pistachio flavor really comes through and didn't taste artificial. It paired well with the matcha. We also got the classic Mango Sago which is always good too. You really can't go wrong with any drink here! Drinks came out quickly. Bathroom was clean. Not too many tables inside, but it seems that most people order to-go.
