I ordered the Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk and really enjoyed it. The fresh milk was creamy and paired well with the brown sugar boba. The pearls were chewy, and the brown sugar sauce added just the right amount of sweetness.
4.5 stars rounded up. Fast service and got our group order pretty quickly despite the place being busy. This was my first time at any boba bliss. I got the pistachio dream jasmine without milk, with boba. At first the staff said I couldn't order without milk but the manager or owner was able to step in and assist. I ordered less sweet but with the boba and cream, I'd order again with zero sweet. Boba was pretty qq and warm. Cute and bright interior for sitting and catching up.
This is a small little boba shop where you can chill with friends or get some work done while enjoying some boba. We ended up getting the Mango Sago and the Natural Ube Taro Milk, which were served quickly. The Mango Sago was very meh. It had a very artificial taste to it and just seemed to have syrup in it with Sago and Milk. Thankfully, the Natural Ube Taro Milk was better. It had the paste on the sides of the cup. So had a more natural taste to it and wasn't too sweet. Overall, quick service and meh drinks for the price I paid.
First time at the CV location. I usually frequent the MV location and am big fan of Boba Bliss. After a hike at Lake Chabot, this was a needed refresher. Order at the kiosks or at the counter. This location is a $1 cheaper per drink than MV location. Same drink menu. I got the lemon green tea with less sweetness and less ice. Super refreshing and nice lemon flavor. Went in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was pretty empty. Ordered via the kiosk/iPad because it was my first time and I like going thru the menu. They have a lot of good and unique drinks, such as Pistachio Matcha which I'll definitely try next time. I got the mango sago and it was delicious. Super creamy, not too sweet, and had plenty of sago. My mom got the brown sugar milk with no boba and she enjoyed her drink as well. Simple but good. Our total was about $14 before tip. The inside has plenty of seating which is nice. Service is quick and our drinks came out in like 3 minutes. We sat and chatted for a bit but the music was a bit loud and they were playing Rap/Hip-Hop which I love, but was a bit much when we were just trying to chill and chat. Overall, would be back for the drinks but probably not a place to hangout as it's loud.
Boba is soft and not overly sweet. Fast, friendly service. Our phone # to earn rewards for a free drink. This location had VERY LIMITED parking, beware.
Updated review for their new Lychee Jasmine Milk Tea Special this summer! The lychee flavor is so tasteful without being artificial and pairs well with the lychee jelly. I thought it was perfect at full sweetness. My go-to refreshing drink this summer.
I simply don't understand how you operate. I ordered black Thai milk tea, but you prepared green Thai milk tea instead--even though the label on the cup clearly stated "black Thai milk tea." This isn't the first time you've messed up my order; it's the sixth time. When I called to complain, you claimed not to know what happened and said nothing could be done because I had already taken the order away.
Got the strawberry mint green tea -less sweet, which was refreshing with ample strawberry bits throughout the drink. Fast service. Pricing on their ordering tablet doesn't fully match the posted menus FYI.

I ordered ahead of time and my drink was ready when I got there. I ordered the natural ube taro milk and this drink was so goo! You can definitely tell they used real ube in this drink. The hint of taro also made the drink refreshing. I was so happy to try this again after a long time. I hope to com back again whenever I'm in the bay! :-)
I've been going to Boba Bliss since their original location in San Ramon, and I am SO happy to see them thriving in their Castro Valley location! We popped in here for a nice cool treat on a Sunday afternoon. The kitchen was hustling and bustling, but a worker saw us walk in and immediately came up to the register to take our order (even as he saw us approaching the iPad). Such a nice touch when most people would prefer ordering through an iPad. My matcha latte was delicious, and the space was clean with plenty of tables to sit at.
I've been coming to the Castro Valley location for a while now since they've opened! One things for sure, Boba Bliss has consistency on lock, no matter which location you visit. You always know you're going to get a good drink. Lately I've been having the pistachio cream jasmine milk tea. It's light, creamy, with a hint of nuttiness. This place gets pretty busy on weekends, but the turnaround time is pretty quick.
Was craving boba and decided to try out boba bliss. I heard that parking is a bit hard so we did end up doordashing. Ordered one of their seasonal drinks: pistachio jasmine dream and it was super delicious. It was a light drink and the pistachio cream on top was just the right amount of sweetness. I did order the drink less sweet in case the cream came out too sweet but it was perfect. The jasmine paired really well with the pistachio flavor and I totally enjoyed the pistachio bits. Can't wait to try another drink!

I love Boba Bliss and their Castro Valley location is no exception! I especially like this location because it's near the freeway where I have to commute home from work so I can grab a quick drink for the ride home. My husband loves the natural ube taro milk and I switch between the tropical passionfruit tea and assam black tea. Both are delicious but I would avoid the passionfruit if you dislike having hard seeds in your drink. The boba texture here is chewy and not too sweet. I get my drinks less sweet, but the regular sweetness isn't overly sweet compared to most boba shops. The service here is pretty fast. I like ordering online for pick-up so it's ready right when I arrive. The interior is modern and looks clean. I hung out with my brother and sister-in-law here recently and we loved the aesthetics and lighting for pictures. The parking here can be rough though.. the parking lot is small and there's a good amount of cars coming in and out. read more

I'm not usually a boba person. Honestly, I think the last time I went to a boba shop was six years ago. This past Friday was really hot and my housekeeper was at my place, so I wanted to treat them to something refreshing. At first, I thought about Jamba Juice, but when I saw it was $9 for a small drink, I decided to look around for other options. That's how I found Boba Bliss. The prices were way more reasonable, so I ordered three strawberry mint green teas with lychee, one for me and two for my housekeepers. I have to admit, this drink kind of changed my opinion on boba shops. It was really good. The flavors all worked well together, and I loved that it came with lime slices and fresh mint inside. The size was bigger than I expected too. Definitely felt worth it compared to Jamba. I wouldn't get this every day since it's more of a sweet treat for me, but I'd definitely come back and try other popular drinks. I placed my order through the app, pickup was super easy, and my drinks were ready as soon as I walked in. The only downside is the plaza, it was packed with high school students and parking is a total mess. Overall, Boba Bliss surprised me in the best way. I'll be back. read more
Standard boba place that offers milk tea and juice drinks. No food options available. Ordered the house vietnamese iced coffee and creme brulee milk tea. Both drinks were delicious, better than most places that offers similar drinks. Vietnamese coffee is strong and does the job for caffeine kick. Creme brulee was enjoyed by my friend and she looked pleasantly pleased. Seating was okay, not very comfortable. The atmosphere had a strong cleaning smell that was off putting. Parking is awkward so be careful. read more

Super cute coffee lounge. Got the Vietnamese coffee and the Oreo cookie puff cream both were delicious. Self ordering with screens above while you wait. Music was playing when we came so it's a pretty chill vibe. read more

I've had Boba Bliss before from San Ramon a few times and always ordered the Watermelon Lychee drink during the Summer. Fresh fruit & classic Jasmine iced green tea? Heck yeah it's refreshing! I decided to try weekend special Green Thai Milk Tea after having a sugar overload with 7 Leaves' no sugar adjustment version a few weeks prior. I got 25% sweet plus grass jelly and lemme tell you-- PERFECTION! I'm soo craving that drink right now. Green Thai flavor shines through with fresh milk making it all creamy-licious. Grass jelly added a bit of silkiness. My friend got a mango matcha and a mango sago for her son at home to enjoy. Drinks were layered nicely and tasted great. Customer service was pleasant too. There's additional parking in the back but could potentially get sketchy/only room for one way at a time. I'd for sure go back when in the area! read more

As someone who isnt the biggest boba person but this is the only place I actually enjoy! Theres always a line but it moves relatively quick with friendly service. Theres some seating inside to hang out and wait. We always get the strawberry matcha and creme brulee boba. Looking to try the new pistachio matcha drink soon :) read more

Got the Pistachio Jasmine Dream and my bf got the Brown Sugar Latte both with boba over the weekend The boba was so fresh, warm and had a soft chew! It also had a generous amount of boba!!! The pistachio jasmine dream tastes like a jasmine milk tea with pistachio cream on top and had chunks of pistachio in it. It is a seasonal drink and I thought it was really delicious!! My bf loved his brown sugar latte, it had a good amount of sweetness and the boba was also really fresh!! Love the interior decor and service was friendly. We were out of town and really needed to use to bathroom but the bathroom was locked. Not sure if the previous person locked it accidentally but I stood there for 10 minutes until we realized no one was in there and asked one of the workers to open it for us. Otherwise, a great place to get boba if you are in the area!! read more
This review will be based on 3 things... SERVICE 6 out of 5. It fast considering how busy they were when we went on a Saturday around 3pm. Also we only got 1 drink... LOCATION 2 out of 5. Very busy street with barely parking space. MANGO SAGO 2 out of 5. Lacked flavor and mango. It had an powdery after taste. Boba Bliss has been consistent with satisfying my boba cravings and it's as simple as that. Comes out super quick when I order online + the boba is chewy to my preference. Parking is a little cramped in this plaza but not terrible for grab n go. Inside has lots of room for people to sit and chat inside! read more

Boba Bliss has neverrr disappointed me. Their drinks are always a hit! Tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte and the Pistachio Matcha Bliss. I'm usually hesitant to get matcha drinks at boba spots but both drinks were good! I think my bf really liked his pistachio drink because he was halfway done before we even left the lot (we tried our drinks when we got in the car). He had nothing but great things to say about it. Service was really quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend!! read more

The matcha here always hits the spot. Today I ordered around 5:30 and my drink was ready in less than 5 minutes. Awesome service kind workers with a few seats inside. Sometimes it is busy so you might not be able to grab a seat! read more

Boba Bliss is one of the top tier boba spots in the bay. The parking lot situation kind of sucks here, which is why I haven't really made an effort to come out to this location, but better late than never. There's a tablet kiosk to order or you can order at the counter. We tried the Pistachio Matcha off of the seasonal menu and it was spectacular! The pistachio flavor really comes through and didn't taste artificial. It paired well with the matcha. We also got the classic Mango Sago which is always good too. You really can't go wrong with any drink here! Drinks came out quickly. Bathroom was clean. Not too many tables inside, but it seems that most people order to-go. We visited on a hot day and with the sun shining through the storefront windows, you could definitely feel it inside. Not sure if there was any A/C on but it didn't feel like it. read more
