Was in need of some OG boba and this place is one of them. I ordered through snack pass today around 2:30 PM and got my drinks in less than 3 minutes. Boba was soft and Oreo snow was great which me and my boyfriend always enjoy and is our new favorite. The other day I got the a avocado snow and couldn't taste the avocado much maybe I needed more sweetening even tho I put full sweetness. Quickly in Castro Valley has my favorite boba drink, Mango Coconut Delight. It has lots of mango purée, ripe mango pieces, coconut flavored cream, jelly stuff, and I add boba.... so good! No other boba place had this... those boring tea-focused places never have the flavor concoctions and add ons on Quickly's level ... as my ex says, Quickly is OG of boba. So I like shopping around here. I was not expecting hair to be in the drink. I ordered a total of 7 drinks. 2 if the 7 had something wrong. The hair being one thing wrong. The other issue was they did not put lychee jelly in one of the drinks. I should have received what we paid for. So far this is my second time ordering from this location and it will be the last. Didn't even know this location existed! What I love about quicklys is that the menu is always standardized, each quicklys has the same menu and typically it is always made the same and tastes the same! The staff was friendly, and one of the employees was mopping when we got there the smell was kind of strong so I asked if they could open the door, and they kindly did. Other than that, I normally get a Thai tea... However I wanted to try something different so I saw the red bean milk tea... It has an good flavor, I thought it was going to be a little sweeter, and there is a bunch of beans at the bottom which I didn't like but other than that is was good! Next time I would probably ask with no beans and maybe a little sweeter. Also got the fried zucchini, (they ran out of ranch otherwise it would have been AMAZING) Popcorn chicken is my absolute favorite!!! Put the chilli powder and shake it and dip it in the sweet chilli sauce, soooo so good! I always go there for the popcorn chicken. We got the fries... Decent.. I don't really care for fries but they were ok with some salt and pepper. Last thing we got was the egg rolls, the portions are really good for the price and I like being able to try a variety of items! Next time I want to try the lobster balls... The branches whether it's in Stoneridge Mall, or the stand alone in Castro Valley is always clean, and welcoming. The first time I went to Quickly I was super impressed because I wasn't expecting it to taste as good as it did, unfortunately I had the same craving and went again and it was nothing I expected First of all I don't come here for the Milk tea, I'm not a fan of that or Boba. So I can't judge them based on that my co-worker gets a drink from here everyday though. So that might be there thing here. They have a ton of things to choose from, fries, burgers, wings, various amount of rice bowls, ramen bowls, calamari, practically anything tbh, including sweets as well. I love the chicken wings here and the spam mash I isn't to bad either, previously ordered the popcorn chicken bowl. Wasn't a huge fan. I'm really picky about my rice tho.. then again I grew up eating a lot of sticky rice thanks to my step mom being Lao. Got popcorn chicken and calamari. Chicken was gross, worst popcorn chicken I ever had. Had this weird smell, the calamari was fine. I also ordered curry fish balls but they were out and gave me a refund . Never got my refund and I called them but no answered . I've been to other locations in the past and always liked it although it's not a "high quality" spot. However when I walked in to this one the people ignored me, I ordered on the screen, and then sat there and waited. It was a guy and a girl and it took awhile. Once the stuff came out the guy walks over and puts in on the counter and doesn't say anything. When I walk up I grab it and say thank you and he just stares at me. We ordered spam musubi and coconut milk tea which were both good. But horrible customer service and won't be going back. This is the second time this is happened to me. The OG boba place in CV has been slipping ever since the appearance of other boba places. Then again, we always settles since it was convenient. Prices are cheap but the milk tea does leave a weird flavor in your mouth (was even powdery before too). I ordered via Postmates, however I was unable to get any place to deliver to me (why?!), so I had to order for pick-up (had credits to use). Yes, I was semi late to the pick-up which probably caused the curly fries to be a little soggy. The popcorn chicken was okay - I've had better and I pretty much only like them if they have that powder / pepper seasoning, but I was only given 1 of each for 2 orders of popcorn chicken. I also do not usually order these types of drinks and had assumed jelly would be inside the fruit tea drinks but they weren't as now I know you have to add them in as additional charges. I think tea shops in Southern Ca have drinks that already have things in it that come with the cost? The chicken wings were plain - no type of seasoning on them (its also hard to tell I guess if there was an option of what type of chicken wings to order - or what kind they're offering on the app). This used to be my family's favorite boba spot, especially after school or on the weekends. As sad as I am to admit, this place has declined over the years, and I do not see myself going back to it. Over this past year, we have been using Doordash to get our food and stay as safe as possible. Last week, we decided to order some snacks and drinks from Quickly. In the special instructions for our popcorn chicken, I wrote asking for sweet and sour sauces on the side, as I normally do. The order arrives, with no sauces at all. That was absolutely fine, must be a mistake I thought, so I did nothing and thought nothing of it. Come to find out, they charged me an extra $5 for these "special instructions" with no sauces whatsoever to come with the order!! They also charged extra $0.57 for each boba drink for "special instructions" as well, even with no special instructions written for the drinks. I did not know of these extra charges until I checked my email, much later than when the payment went through. I am very disappointed in these random charges from the restaurant, looking for a quick buck thinking we wouldn't notice, as even if I did get sweet and sour sauces (which I did not), it was only $0.25 each when I went to the restaurant in person. $5 worth of sauce seems like a lot to charge for, especially considering there was nothing included in our order. We really loved Quickly before- now, the service has worsened, the drinks taste watered down, and the boba is stale. Please consider going to another boba place, there are plenty in the same vicinity, such as iTea or U-Cha. If not, please check your emails or receipts for random charges and beware! read more

First time here. Brought 4 items. Squid ball, sweet potato fries, crispy chicken and curry fish ball. The only thing acceptable was curry fish ball. Over all are too salty for everything. If you like sugar on your sweet potato fries. This is the place. I will not be coming back again. First I ate squid ball and it was bad. It's not that I don't like it. It's bad. You can tell it's not fresh and it gone bad already. Swapped with second order of curry fish ball. Then I went back to the car and start eating crispy chicken. It was too salty but I continue to eat them. Until the 4th popcorn chicken, I can tasted the chicken gone bad. They switched the bad squid ball for me but they were questioning if just my personal taste that I didn't like it. I don't think anyone will like the rotten food. $30 dollars and I learnt my lesson. I have been here a few times since COVID and it's always very slow service. So I went again last night at 8:30 and there was a homeless woman waiting outside and two other people waiting to order. The girl at the window was doing door dash and to go orders. I stood there for 15 minutes until I got her attention and asked if I could order and she said "oh ok." I put in my order for a milk tea and some potstickers. And she told me the kitchen closed at 8:30. I told her I was there at 8:30 and I had been waiting this whole time to order and no one acknowledged me. She went back to go out the kitchen if they could cook the order of potstickers for me and they said no. So I left without purchasing anything. So I'm looking at the options and I see Popcorn chicken, wings, pot-stickers...and the list goes on and on...Food is made fresh and I haven't tried it yet, but I hear the waffles are YUMMY! I order the pot-stickers and a strawberry Milk Tea. They also have regular pearls or large pearls (they were out of large pearls when I came this one particular day. Uggh... remind me next time not to order three green teas in a two hour span when dining at a Quickly with NO BATHROOM. As a telecommuter who hates sitting at home, I have visited a myriad of tea shops around the Bay, and this particular Quickly is no different than the 1,628 others around town, but the fact that there is no usable public lavatory loses it mondo points. Never mind that most of the patrons are just in and out, and nobody really sits here. However, I guess they don't take into account that there are weird people like me who like to mingle and use the wi-fi. I mean, they do actually have a good amount of tables and chairs here, so the owners probably do want people to hang out. Kind of counter-productive by not having a restroom, wouldn't you say? Fortunately, the Lucky supermarket next door is not too far of a walk, so relief is in sight. In any event, everything else about this Quickly is up to par with the rest, and I would actually rank the actual taste of the food and drinks in the upper echelon. I like how the the green teas are still at a dollar a pop (how else do you think I can afford to purchase so many?), and they don't charge you extra for special requests (no/less sugar, etc.). Also, all of the other drinks I have sampled are not watered down in cost-cutting efforts. The popcorn chicken is not as greasy as many other cafes, and has less aftertaste. There is also a popcorn chicken rice bowl, which I haven't seen elsewhere, and is quite the steal for 3 bucks. It is basically a smaller order of the fan favorite mixed with rice. The amount of chicken is just about right, as the normal sized order might become rather nauseating about halfway through for one person. Overall, minus two stars for the restroom, but I like that this is one of the few pearl tea shops where the internet has never crapped out on me, and the younger, local high school student employees are courteous and efficient. The fact that this place is never overcrowded may have something to do with that. One thing that I find hilarious is how the flatscreen TV here always broadcasts HKTVB (Chinese TV station), but there are hardly any Chinese people here besides the workers and me. I'm from southern California and have family in the Bay Area, so we always make it a priority to buy a few drinks from Quickly while we are out here since the closest location to us is over an hour away from our home. This specific location is 5 minutes away from my uncle's house, so we have always gone here. We visited this location last week on Monday, 7/26/20. I can't remember if it has always been the same girl working in the front, but this is our first time having an issue with the customer service. We had a big order with a total of 8 size chubby drinks. The girl was rude while taking our order. After each drink, she would ask, "is that it?" With an attitude. When she charged my card, instead of letting me sign it, she scribbled on it with her finger and said, "Don't worry about that. It's not necessary." After she scribbled on it, she started to walk away then I had to tell her that I need my receipt. She looked down at the machine and had an attitude when she said, "Well, it looks like you have an email address already saved on here, so maybe you'll get it or maybe not." I don't know what her problem is, but instead of visiting Quickly once a day during our whole visit, we only visited that one time and never went back. Ah yes quickly a good place to go for your drink fix, boba and all. Food 4/5 Normally I get a milk tea with boba, but I was feeling like getting something different. The lemon slush with boba is what I ended up picking and I was very pleased with my choice. It was like a really pleasant lemonade with boba to add some texture. Service - Quick and to the point not a whole lot of interaction but really you don't need that much to order a drink. Parking - Big lot with plenty of spaces you are almost always going to find a close spot to park. All in all quickly is a great place to get a good drink quickly, and I recommend giving this place a try. read more

Horrible service!!!! We have been regular customers for years with no problems. Recently we have ordered two times with uber eats and they forgot our items. The first time it happened they forgot sweet potato fries so i called and the manager was very nice and helpful and refunded me. The second time today we ordered uber eats and they forgot the waffle fries. The girl named grace was very rude and unhelpful. She basically accused me of being a liar saying they were in the bag and refused to help me and did not care to resolve the issue. In the background i could hear another coworker shouting in another language about it. I felt very uncomfortable and very disrespected i wont return to this business. You lost a good customer! Haven't been here in years, so I decided to give it a try. All 3 of my drinks are incredibly bland. The Jasmine Milk Tea tastes like tea with a splash of milk; not creamy at all. All of my drinks taste like they forgot to add sweetener even though we didn't order no sugar. There are plenty of better boba places in CV that I would recommend over Quickly, but if you're down bad for boba, you could always stop by here! read more
