Nice little place in CV for smoothies. Lots of options, and I asked the lady at the front for recommendations for anything that wasn't as sweet, and her response was "everything is sweet." But anyways. Ended up getting the berry one and it tasted heavily like apple or cranberry juice. It did end up being a little too sweet. I want to start off by saying I do appreciate the macros on the screen for the drinks that have protein. It was a little overwhelming the amount of items that were on the menu, it was a lot to read. With that being said my girlfriend and I ordered a #13 the Hawaiian with protein and the #17 the Tropical with protein (I hope I have those right), she also ordered the #5 Peanut butter with protein. Collectively all of these drinks are so sweet, I am not even sure if these are considered to be healthy. I will have to say I liked the #13 over the #17 the banana was very overpowering in this. The #5 was so sweet, it reminded me of recess pieces cereal, good but too sweet for something that's supposed to be healthy. I want to say the staff is nice but no one smiled, and when I asked what the most popular drink was and can't even remember but the way she answered me was so dry and unwelcoming. Not sure if this is a chain, but surprisingly enough the best thing about this place is that you can get cheap Samosas until they run out (which seems to be often, especially at the end of the day). Unfortunately the Samosas don't have any sauce or chutney available (so don't bother asking, there is even a sign to this effect). But still, to take home and eat later they are quite good. I believe they are under $2 each, but pricing changes a lot nowadays it seems.... As a side note, they smoothies are good too and they have inexpensive ice cream scoops with limited flavors ( I think just Chocolate Vanilla and Strawberry?). read more

I decided to give Blenzers another chance. First time around the smoothie was disappointing. I'm happy to report that they got it right this time. I ordered the #19 smoothie and enjoyed every last sip of it. It had a thick creamy consistency, boasting notes of strawberry and peanut butter. On my way out, I had to give a nod to the chef, Blenzers savior! Smoothie was so good I wanted to go back the next day for another (knowing I have smoothie ingredients in my freezer at home smh). Which leads me to my final point: Blenzers price point is too high. I paid $8.75 for a small size cup. Inflation could be the culprit - I have my doubts. When I return, I'll order the #19 again. If it passes the taste test I'll officially bump my rating to 4-stars barring no other mishaps. read more

Horrible. The staff (an Indian lady) just staring at her phone ignoring customers. I waited, waited and waited and she kept on her phone. She was seated on a chair careless and unbothered of who entered the store. I was a few steps away from the staff watching this nonsense. She was too busy swiping her cell phone. I left the shop without buying anything. I am never coming back. I am destroying the multiple loyalty cards. I am no longer a recurring customer (this place is going downhill). We stopped by Blenzers after hiking in the Las Trampas Regional Wilderness, purely due to its convenient location on our way home. We were slightly taken aback by the very large menu selection, and it took us forever to make a decision. I ended up going with the Pumpkinizer, and my friends got the Apple-berry Dazzler and Tropical Tantalizer. Service was very quick, and we out of there in less than 10 minutes. The atmosphere is clean and not really anything on the floor, some small white papers in corner and on the front mat. Has the vibe of a remodeled donut shop. Counter tops are clean. I'm a little thrown off by this place, promoted as a healthy place, fruits and vegetable juice. But they also have multiple different kinds of sodas, chips, cookies, fried samosas. I got the wheat grass and the kale hydrate. The wheat grass was good, but didn't takes that crisp or fresh. The kale hydrate was good, cool, refreshing, good blend of all the favors. What really got to me was that she was playing with her hair while I was trying to decide what to order, and then she started cutting the wheatgrass, without washing her hands. Then as she was making my kale hydrate, she was touching her face. Keep in mind she was touching all the veggies with her bare hands and no glove. Don't know if I'll come back because of this. She parks her white Range Rover in the 20 minute parking space right in front of her own business. She's taking away from her own customer parking.
