I got the Acai peanut butter and nutella bowl (small) for $13 ish, and he got a white gummi for $9 (remember when this used to be on the secret menu?? haha). We went around 8:30pm Pros: - randomly open later than I would expect - I feel like back in the day Jambas would close like soon after dinner? but this was a nice dessert treat for us! - The young staff were really nice and professional and tried their best to be efficient, to make our order even while in the midst of cleaning before closing up. Did not get the gen Z stare LOL. - Impressively, the acai bowl was pretty delicious. Not too icy or crunchy, with generous portions of nutella and peanut butter. I actually felt like it was better tasting than vitality bowl in CV - lots of parking in this Bayfair plaza Cons: - not a ton of sitting space inside, so better as a grab and go option - I might be biased but $9 for a smoothie seems really expensive - I think my acai bowl was a better value even though it's a little more expensive. I'm kind of annoyed that they will pick up the phone but won't let you put an order in on the phone. Seems like a missed opportunity to me, especially when the alternative is that I have to install the app and then search for the location, put in all the info etc etc.... I remember the good ole days when one could just call a business and order something so it was ready when you get there. Asides from that I don't think this Jamba is any better or worse than others I've been to. Parking is kind of annoying to get in and out of but it's a minor inconvenience. 3 stars only because the customer service was good. I ordered a large coconut whip bowl with peanut butter and Nutella. It was more toppings than whip. It was overly sweet. Although some people may have enjoyed it, for a diabetic, it is way too much sugar. I couldn't enjoy it. After I got to all of the plain whip, I had to toss it. I was making my way to Starbucks in the same plaza when I looked in Jamba Juice and noticed some of their new items (or at least new to me) on the menu that seemed interesting, such as the Aloha Pineapple, Gotcha Matcha with sweet cloud whip, and Watermelon Breeze. Honestly, I am a creature of habit, so when I am here, I would get my usual which is their Strawberries Wild, but I was determined to get my matcha fix (that was why I was going to Starbucks - for their matcha Frappuccino or at least their iced matcha latte). Anyway, I was intrigued about their Gotcha Matcha with sweet cloud whip, so I decided to get my matcha fix here instead and see the take on their matcha drink. Staff is not the friendliest and helpful - I had questions about their Gotcha Matcha, but they did not much helpful answers, and did not even seem to know anything about their drinks. Also, I am not sure why the location on their Yelp says Sacramento, instead of San Leandro. I ordered their Gotcha Matcha with sweet cloud whip. If you are a matcha lover, I do not think you would like this drink - the matcha taste was very subtle, while the coconut milk sweet cloud whip foam overpowers the drink. As someone who is not a big coconut fan, this was not the best drink choice as well. I should had gotten the regular Gotcha Matcha with no sweet cloud whip, but honestly I did not read into it when I was the drink displayed and did not know their sweet cloud whip was coconut (I thought it was some sort of sea salt foam or something similar). It would be a 1 - 2 stars for me, but I love their Strawberries Wild when I do get it, so I will give them a 3 stars. read more

Super friendly crew at this Bay-fair location. They have some seating inside. I asked for the pitaya bowl and when I saw how they make it they do add a bunch of ice vs freezing some of the fruit. This makes the bowl more of a slushy/icee vs a creamy smooth fruit bowl like I get at other places. It was good but not the best and for the price I want great. So with Jamba Juice I would stick with that-juices and smoothies not bowls. read more

I just love the crew at this location! They are following Covid guidelines by encouraging online ordering, limiting the number of customers inside and making people wait outside for their order. Okay it's been some time since I've been to a Jamba and my oh my have the prices increased. I went in for an Apples & Greens smoothie and Sis got the same add ginger. Okay, first drink strike - I'm like yes, there are greens but where's the sweetness. Again, I haven't been here in a while but this was the drink I had gotten in the past and I recall what I fell in love with and so sorry, this was not it. I told the lovely young lady and she stated it could be quickly remade and the young man working with her, sorry I wish I would've gotten both their names they were both young and very pleasant. He made my drink and said try this one, he wanted me to like it. It was definitely better than the first but still not what I was accustomed to but would not dare have them remake it. I graciously Thanked them for remaking. Sis on the other hand had it worse than me. Her first drink, just like mine was not sweet and when she mentioned this was told it was because of the ginger which I'm not convinced that's completely accurate because due to the fruit, there should be some sweetness there. They remade her drink and she was even less satisfied. She said there was now no ginger at all and the drink still wasn't right. We took our remakes and just left. I do understand we weren't getting the other smoothies loaded down with the extras but I'm telling you, this drink is normally sweet so I'm not sure if Jamba has changed their recipes or what but for $8, I expected a little more. Service was at lightening speed tonight! Usually I have to wait at least 10 minutes regardless if the line is long or short. Only took them about 4 minutes after they rung me up, and they were 4 people in front of me and at least 6 still waiting in line when I left. They gave me a bit of trouble when trying to apply the $1 off coupon I received by checking in on Yelp, but honored the discount and shaved a dollar off my $8 smoothie. My bf and I were going to get our wheatgrass shot from our usual spot, only to find out that they didn't have any that day. On the way home we knew we'll pass by Jamba Juice, so we decided to come in. It wasn't busy when we walked in and we saw that their wheatgrass wasn't out so we asked their Team Lead if they still have any and she told us that they do. We went to the counter to order 2 1oz wheatgrass and a ginger orange shot. After ordering, we waited quite some time for our shots to come out. She kept an eye on us and apologized for the delay, as they needed to get the wheatgrass from the back. We didn't mind waiting. We both know how it is working for Jamba Juice, so it was no problem at all for us. As we were waiting, more people started coming in. I would say about after 10-15 mins, our shots finally came. I love Jamba Juice. I truly do and compared to other smoothie places, the staff is (generally) usually fun, happy and bubbly. Sadly, this location is the complete opposite. Sticky tables, trash is thrown on the floor, dirty bathroom, horrible/slow customer service, and for some odd reason.. they seem to always be out of ingredients? ..which I really find weird because if they want the business to succeed, they should at least try to grab some items at a Target or Lucky nearby, right? I mean.. I know businesses usually order in bulk and may not want to do that, but I just find it SO WEIRD how this place always seems to run out items. I've ordered the acai bowl a few times, but they never seem to have any blueberries.... or sometimes strawberries. I remember there was this one time when the 2-3 customers behind me got their orders first because they were smoothies and really put my acai bowl order on the backend. Is it because they still had to take time to slice the fruit? Or it took a little more to get my order ready? I don't know. I always love their oatmeal w/ blueberries and brown sugar crumble. It's been awhile since I've had it, but it seems like the serving size has gotten smaller and they barely put any toppings on. I didn't bother reading the other reviews but I will say that my experience at this Jamba Juice has always been consistent in gray. Today I meant the general manager, Nelsa (I apologize if I am close yet wrong) and she just added the cherry to the store. They are as quick as possible, patient and helpful. Ppl don't believe we have real heat in NoCal but even in between when we don't we love our smoothies. Thanks to Jamba juice as a whole and thank you for this location as it's much needed. I came in to order a new drink I asked for a sample they said no I asked if I didn't like it if I could return it and they told me no this isn't Starbucks and I bravely ordered a drink called the gotcha matcha and Maria the manager was extremely rude when I asked her. Why didn't it look like the picture? The sweet cream was Colonel to the bottom and the Matcha green was brown eye bravely took a taste of it, and it was very unpleasant to drink. I couldn't even handle one sip of it, and they wouldn't even exchange another drink for me. I am extremely disappointed with this place, and I would never bring my grandchildren back over here. So I go to Jamba Juice right after I work out sometimes to give me the boost that I need. I came here at 8 am on a Friday. I Decided to go to this one, a location that I never go to, because it was close by. Of which I would never go to again. As soon as I walk in the bottom of my shoes were sticking to the floor as if it were a home alone movie. That is disgusting how in the world is it eight in the morning and the floors are already sticky? Because they never mopped them to begin with the previous night or could be the previous days. I got a green smoothie which wasn't all that compared to other locations that I go to. But I drink it anyway because of the health benefits and we all know that usually things that don't taste all that great when it comes to health are better for you. Which is the reason why I go to Jamba, to drink some of the things that I don't like to eat. But at least some of the locations make this movie a lot more pleasant to chug down. With no explanation NOR did they tell me how I would be refunded. And guess what, I WASN'T. I spent I total of $14.98, damn near $15. I called the store 10 times, no one picked up. As usual. My first 1 star review: I recently visited this location with my fiance on Dec 31 (New Year's Eve). We arrived a little before 5:50pm, and were hoping to get some smoothies. By the time we walked up to the storefront, all the chairs and outside furniture was packed up inside the shop. When we peeked our head in, the young male employee told us that the shop was closed, and when we told him that it's still before 6pm, he stated that all the systems were down. To me, this seemed like a false claim. After all, it was New years eve. He probably wanted to get out of work asap. My fiance and I were really irritated by this- we had never been to this location, and had to drive out of the way to get to this particular shop. We had no other reason than this Jamba Juice location, which we made sure was open by checking yelp, to exit from the freeway or spend some of our last precious moments of 2016 there, but it was closed. By the time we realized we weren't going to get our Jamba Juice smoothies, it was so close to 6pm (the time most businesses close during holiday hours), that we knew we wouldn't be able to visit a different establishment.
