$6 banana splits every Wednesday in March! Regularly $12.99. Count me in. I went late night right before they closed. The place was not crowded but every single person in line was getting a banana split lol. I've never had a banana split from b&r but it was good. Not as big as a restaurant banana split, but still enough for a child and adult to share. read more

We came to Baskin Robins after celebrating my son's birthday at the zoo a couple Saturday's ago. There was 20 of us We got there and a few tables were full but after ordering our ice cream we ended up being the only ones there . We sang to my son and the owner ( I don't know his name so sorry ) ended up surprising my son with a gift card for his birthday. It was the sweetest surprise and one of those lil memories he'll never forget. Definitely made him feel special! Thank you so much again ! read more

My daughter ordered a cake for her boyfriend's birthday, and she had a specific theme in mind. Therefore, we went in and ordered a small ice cream cake. We specifically went through the details of the cake's colors and showed the person who went through it with us. He assured us that they can provide the appropriate colors (bright pumpkin orange and bright blue) using existing cakes in their refrigerator as the respective colors. We left feeling confident. The day we picked up the cake, however, the cake provided was a pale orange, which was not what we had asked for. I informed the worker, and his response was: "So, do you not want it? " Of course, I want it, but I wanted what was ordered, so I asked if they could correct it. I was told no, and that was it, so I had to ask to speak with a Manager. The guy called and informed us that he could only authorize a $10 gift card, which was fine, but I was still a little upset. However, later that evening, my daughter received a call saying that they would like to resolve this matter further and offered a partial refund, which we deeply appreciated. So, extra star. The thing that I was irritated about was the initial question from the guy who helped me. The fact that he didn't try to solve the issue and just asked if we still wanted it. I mean, it's a birthday cake and obviously, if we were picking it up the day of, it was a celebrate a birthday. The fact that he didn't know how to handle a dissatisfied customer was a little insane. It wasn't until I asked to speak with a manager that he tried to get in touch with one, since one wasn't on site. In any event, this matter was eventually handled in a satisfactory manner, which I appreciated. So, thank you for that! read more

Not only was the cake delicious (as always), but the design was spot on with our green laser tag theme--she completely understood the vibe and brought it to life. Baskin robbins is notorious for serving 31 flavors. I, for one haven't tried all the flavors. It would be impressive if someone was dedicated and tried all of them. Most recently, I went out of my comfort zone and opted for pistachio. I thought it wasn't too sweet and offered a crunchy texture with lots of pistachio bites. Still one of the best places to go for your ice cream craving. I received excellent customer service. They don't have an over abundance of ice cream but definitely have the staples. This is a very family oriented business which I love. Located in the heart of San Leandro there's plenty of good restaurants and various businesses and you can come grab your dessert afterwards. My family of 6 stopped going because we'd treat the family on saturdays and my teen kids love the fresh waffle cones and every time we will go the employees would inform us that its wasn't possible because either they would be out of waffle mix or the waffle maker was broken. I've lived in San Leandro for a good amount of time and didn't realize that this Baskin Robbins location even existed. BR's $1.99 parent scoop summer promotion motivated me to download the app and, lo and behold, Pelton Plaza's BR popped up and was just a few minutes away. My husband and I took our toddler there a little after 6 PM on a weekday and managed to snag one parking spot in the lot (paid parking ends at 6 PM, I believe). There were three people working behind the counter and a steady amount of customers. There are a few tables for 2-4 people and we sat for a bit and enjoyed two scoops each - mint chocolate chip and jamoca almond fudge for me, jamoca almond fudge and a newer Twix flavor for my husband. Their scoops are generous and the ice cream is just as delicious as I remember from going to my childhood BR in Union City. The interior of this location is a bit smaller than the ones I've been to in Union City and Alameda, but it has everything that's needed - the ice cream, seating, and freezers for ice cream cakes. read more

Definitely the best location I have ever been to Marcos the manager is kind to every single person that enters the building and definitely has trained his staff well. Every person makes u feel very welcome when coming inside to get ice cream. The smoothies are to die for and the ice cream is incredible. read more

icecream was awesome but really disappointed in one of the female workers she was RUDE to a male co worker that was behind the counter with her. he was the only guy working I think his name was Jason anyway she said to him in front of the entire store "you need to ask for permission before you walk by me." he just kept working and walked by her. she wasn't raised right and has no manners that is not how you treat people. don't like that at all read more

This is always a great spot to come to for those ice cream cravings. It had been a while since I came in. Spot was clean and the line wasn't too long. They had a good variety of flavors as well as the staple ones. Staff was nice and greeted us. Always a hit or miss with younger employees but this time it was pleasant. Only reason I gave it less than five stars is - when did the cups get smaller and the prices higher?! I got three cups of two scoops each. They are packed enough to get a lid on the cup - that's cool. They rang me up: $19 bucks! It's good every now and again but ouch. I could have gotten several flavors at the store for that price. I did, however, appreciate that even in cups - they threw in a few cones. read more

I'm glad there is still an ice cream place that's close to home. Baskin Robbins is that place that can fulfill your sweet tooth cravings. Now only allowing 5 people in at a time. Understandable.... but!!! With only 5 people allowed and no indoor seating I don't understand how the place can be so dirty. They have the most friendliest workers there, I love the ice cream variety and huge fan of their cakes. But unkept floors and dirty counters makes me think twice about coming into a place. read more

Just got my ice cream tonight and I am not going to like I have not had a baskin robbins ice cream for almost 2 years now, and I am just glad I decided to get it for dessert tonight. So what I got was 2 scoops of ice cream for $6.69, the flavors I got was the jamocha almond fudge which features a nice coffee and chocolate flavor with bits of crunchy almonds. The second scoop I got was the nutty coconut which had shredded coconut, pecan, walnut, and almond, this was not overly sweet and the coconut flavor really shines through. If you haven't noticed I like coffee, almond, and coconut. But if you share the same tastes in ice cream flavors as me I highly recommend it. This place has really gone down hill smh. Now I've been going to this Baskin-Robbins since I was a child I haven't been in there in like a decade so I come today and I start ordering my ice cream sundae and the Caucasian boy with the brown hair cuts me off in the middle of my order to say "I can help you." I let him know that the woman is already helping me and he says "well, I can ring you up " he's over here trying to ring me up and I haven't finished ordering ! As soon as i walked it, the workers were sweeping and wiping down counters, the shop was very clean. I ordered the Cappuccino Blast with Caramel and it was delicious 10/10. It was the perfect texture of coffee mixed with ice cream and it was topped off with whipped cream and cinnamon. I will definitely be coming back to order this again and maybe a different cappuccino blast!! I love coming to this baskin robbin's. Great service, great ice cream, beautiful cakes. I came here on the 31st to take advantage of the special discount. I had just had dinner but had the craving for some ice cream. Desserts: The ice cream here tastes very fresh. Other Baskin Robbins tastes like it has freezer burn but you could tell the ice cream he was fresh. When we went, there were several customers happily walking out so the ice cream must be fresh given how frequently they serve customers. We got the nutty coconut and you could really taste the flavors. Service: There was a line out of the door, but this was expected because of the promotion. We only had to wait a few minutes to actually get to the counter because the workers were quickly servicing customers. You can tell they were really working hard based on how quick they were running around. Location: It's a great looking corner shop that's easy to find in a compact shopping mall. The location is big enough to grab your ice cream and either sit down or walk around. Parking is tight, but we were lucky enough to find a spot directly in front. read more

Today I came in to pick up a cake for my brothers birthday. When I walked in the nice girl came out to help me look for the type of cake I wanted. My brother likes mint chocolate chip ice cream with choco cake. Thank God she found one. She then proceeded to ask if I wanted writing and what color I wanted. I asked for dark blue writing, and she said they didn't have any...(make some?!?). I ended up choosing red. Before I paid for the cake she asked if I wanted anything else (she didn't offer me a sample of the flavor of the month :(...but that's okay). I paid for the cake and left. There's a parking lot for the Pelton plaza.....but getting a parking is very very very difficult especially during lunch hour. Sooooo keep that in mind! read more

This location is fairly small and can get pretty crowded with lines out the door during the warmer seasons. The staff here are always great, consistently better than other Baskin Robbins locations I've been to. The girls there are always friendly and courteous. The wait can be long at times, but I mean what can you expect if the group in front of you decided to order 5 different type of milkshakes. Stop with your complicated order!. I know this is just a chain ice cream spot, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by the young people who work here. They are friendly, fast and whenever I request a freshly washed spoon to scoop my kids ice cream (because of allergies) they are more than happy to do so. A couple times the employees have even gone in the back to get a brand new container to scoop from, which I didn't even ask for. It's always appreciated someone goes above and beyond :) read more

Love this place! It's often crowed, but the staff is quick, so the wait is never long. They always make my hot-fudge sundae with just the right amount of hot fudge and nuts. I've never seen such a happy and helpful staff in an ice cream shop! read more

So I walked up to one of the girls and politely asked for an exchange since I couldn't finish my ice cream (mind you, I only had three bites before stopping, so the ice cream was barely eaten). She shook her head and said, "We can't do that. If you want another ice cream, you have to pay again." I'm sorry, but if the ice cream was inedible because it was unbearably sweet, I should be expected to pay full price for another ice cream? It just doesn't make any sense. I understand that the ice cream was about $6 per scoop, however, if a customer can barely eat the ice cream because of a quality issue, I don't think it's unreasonable to offer a replacement scoop. Also, the issue wasn't really the $6, it was the attitude and the lack of willingness to accommodate a simple customer service request. Instead, I ended up throwing the ice cream away, which was disappointing and honestly left a bad impression. They didn't apologize for the experience and weren't even nice about it. They were rolling their eyes, and when we asked for their names so we could talk to their supervisor about our experience, one of the girls responded, "Tell her that the brown and white girl were working on this day." They were clearly young, probably in high school, judging by their attitude, but that does not excuse their rudeness. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met at this location, nor were the quality or customer service.
