Long line the day I wandered in here ... was also almost tackled by a rude coughing, smoking, hacking man trying to beat me into the store. But I headed straight to check out the ice- cream cakes and someone helped me right away. In a pinch - great place to get a birthday cake ... and they are open late! The cake itself was also a success. About $30 (after tax and everything) for a cake that feeds about 12-15. read more

Ordered a PINK floral stripe cake for my six years old daughter, we were very excited about the cake. But when the cake arrived home, we are very upset and disappointed. The cake was not what I've ordered!!!! It supposed to be pink, but in reality, it was some kind of Halloween red/orange that was very unprofessional designed. Baskin-Robbins, a cake should bring happiness to people NOT sadness with horrible memories. My six years old was wearing a pink princess dress hoping to make a wish upon blowing the candles on her beautiful pink cake, but your cake was designed like it was supposed to be delivered to a witch. Baskin Robbins, don't just think about your own profits, please consider your customer as well. The first picture was what I've ordered, the last two pictures are the reality. read more

This store needs to hire more adults and less kids. Some of the employees appear to be biased towards non hispanic customers. Noticed that some employees, especially all male employees do not service non hispanic customers in the same manner that they do hispanic customers. There also appears to be more playing and screwing around than work being done. Some adult supervision is sorely needed. read more

I work at a different Baskin Robbins and so I know how big the scoops should be. Here their single scoop was definitely not up to par for when they scooped for me. I think it was because I brought in a coupon for a free scoop. The lady who was helping me also just assumed I would want a cup. I asked for a cake cone and just like that she got pissed, and thus scooped me a smaller scoop. When I came there was a pretty long line and yet this one guy didn't drop his cleaning duties to help scoop and shorten the line. He turned around and saw the line and he just went back to cleaning. read more

Customer service could be a little better. Immediately once I said I wanted to claim a free birthday ice cream cone, the staff grabbed my phone and said aloud, "What is today's date". She gave a lil attitude but it's coo I got free ice cream. Cleanliness could also be a little better. I wouldn't get any sprinkles/toppings because they leave the spoon in the toppings jar the whole day, and hands go in and out from there. On the flip side, the birthday cake flavor is a must try here. Moral of the story, don't say you wanna claim anything until the very end. read more

Had 6 kids in tow. All had done something great at school and as a reward, bribe (?) I took them out for ice cream. Our first choice of ice cream spots, Loard's in San Leandro, was closed. BOOO! So further we trekked to Bastards and Robbers, er, Baskin and Robbins. I still prefer Loard's ice cream but the ladies at B&R were the best! Super nice, gave out plenty of sample tastings to the kids, chatted with me as the kids ate their ice cream. Apparently my kids have styles that I was cramping by even being in the ice cream store with them. Pffft! The teen years are gonna be real fun for them then. (snicker) Anyway, I digress... ice cream was yummy, kids were happy and left with blue lips from the artificially colored and flavored Wild and Reckless sherbert they devoured. Shop is small but clean. We might just have to come back to this place. read more

We were back just yesterday. We go to this Baskin Robbins every few months usually after a local dinner spot and just walk there which we did this time straight from the Wednesday SL Farmers Market where we grabbed a bite to eat and sat to enjoy some live music and afternoon sun. So dessert was needed and so we ended up with a craving for some good ice cream. I had the pecan fudge, two scoops and my wife had coffee ice cream I think. I just like surveying all the chocolate flavors and variations they have. It always brings me back to my childhood going here and sitting down to some ice cream. The service is always friendly here and the ice cream is always solid. There is almost never much of a line so we get our ice cream urge satisfied quickly. There is something relaxing about slowly savoring a few scoops of my favorite ice cream and viewing a nice spring sunset together with my wife. We will be back! read more

This BR has the best scoopers. Unlike other locations, they KNOW how to give you a real scoop instead of the cost saving 1 curl scoop the size of a ping pong. They will scoop into that bucket several times until the curl of the ice cream turns into that perfect roundness that ever so delicately hangs over the edges of the cone. Quick, lick it before it drips! Makes you feel like a real man when you have a scoop the size of a baseball. NICE. Thanks ladies. You always hook it up rite. I just wish that there are more options for cakes, then I would totally love this place. There are multiple flavors to choose from but I have yet to walk out of there with an ice cream. This location is fairly small and can get pretty crowded with lines out the door during the warmer seasons. The staff here are always great, consistently better than other Baskin Robbins locations I've been to. The girls there are always friendly and courteous. The wait can be long at times, but I mean what can you expect if the group in front of you decided to order 5 different type of milkshakes. Stop with your complicated order!. I just come here for scoops of ice creams, so I'm in and out when it's my turn. read more

I know this is just a chain ice cream spot, but I'm always pleasantly surprised by the young people who work here. They are friendly, fast and whenever I request a freshly washed spoon to scoop my kids ice cream (because of allergies) they are more than happy to do so. A couple times the employees have even gone in the back to get a brand new container to scoop from, which I didn't even ask for. It's always appreciated someone goes above and beyond :) read more

When I asked one of the staff, they weren't sure and had to ask another staff. They told me as long as it scans it should work. Well it did, no issues at all. We got a 1/2 sheet strawberry ice cream cake for $53.95. The staff even offered to write, "happy birthday." They were really nice throughout the whole experience. I didn't get to try the cake but friends said it was very sweet. Since I didn't place an advanced order I was worried they would have a limited selection but they had several freezers full of ice cream cakes.

When we walked in, there were two girls working. The girls were rude from the get-go. As soon as we walked in, they seemed annoyed and bothered. I got an ice cream, but as soon as I started eating it, I realized it was unbearably sweet. So I walked up to one of the girls and politely asked for an exchange since I couldn't finish my ice cream (mind you, I only had three bites before stopping, so the ice cream was barely eaten). She shook her head and said, "We can't do that. If you want another ice cream, you have to pay again." I'm sorry, but if the ice cream was inedible because it was unbearably sweet, I should be expected to pay full price for another ice cream? It just doesn't make any sense. I understand that the ice cream was about $6 per scoop, however, if a customer can barely eat the ice cream because of a quality issue, I don't think it's unreasonable to offer a replacement scoop. Also, the issue wasn't really the $6, it was the attitude and the lack of willingness to accommodate a simple customer service request. Instead, I ended up throwing the ice cream away, which was disappointing and honestly left a bad impression. They didn't apologize for the experience and weren't even nice about it. They were rolling their eyes, and when we asked for their names so we could talk to their supervisor about our experience, one of the girls responded, "Tell her that the brown and white girl were working on this day." They were clearly young, probably in high school, judging by their attitude, but that does not excuse their rudeness. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met at this location, nor were the quality or customer service.

It gives off such a welcoming, community-centered vibe -- like they genuinely want people to come in, enjoy good food and drinks, hang out, relax, and just have a good time. I was indecisive while ordering because there's just too many goodies to choose from and IK that can be annoying, but we had great service because the guy that took our order was patient and seen that my struggles was most definitely real . We ordered mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, curly fries, and two large Thai teas -- one with green apple jelly topping, which paired sooo well to me hehe. We don't eat out much because we cook at home nowadays, so when we do, we wanna enjoy the classics lol. It's actually really cool seeing how the place has evolved over the years. The very first time we came, the back area looked like this cute little library/study hall/tutoring/game/hangout room. Then a couple years into the COVID days, it turned into a unique snack and gift shop vibe. Now it's this awesome mini arcade/lounge setup with comfy seating, sports on TV, and really great food (savory & sweets) and drinks. And the food is SOLID. Even on my last mozzarella stick, I still had a cheese pull -- and it had already been at least like 20-30 minutes. That says a lot on the quality. What also makes this place stand out is the little acts of kindness. Part of their service is while we were already getting busy, grubbing, they randomly offered us a complimentary yummy, soft, and fluffy eggette on a stick with their condensed milk sauce, which gave me that feeling like how a love one would just randomly give something very sweet just because. I don't go out much anymore, but if I'm craving for some outside sweets and treats oh and almost forgot to mention how pretty affordable for the quality and portions we got for our meal, I'm def bringing my nieces n nephews here when they visit! I love the different chairs, décor, games, ambiance, food, and drinks! They keep everything so clean, neat, and organized at the station from where you sanitize your hands, grab your napkins, straws and condiments-- it genuinely feels like there's something here for everyone. You HAVE to find at least one thing you'll enjoy here!
