No smile. No hi. Then she got her change and then just looked at me. No smile. No hi. No "ok what can I get you?" My recommendation: put her on the smoothie making. Or bathroom cleaning duty. On Sunday, February 9th, 2020, I placed an online order using Jamba's online service. They were having a promotion for free delivery valid only through February 9th. I placed the order at 12pm and immediately they told me it would be delivered by 12:44pm. As 12:44pm approached, I get a text saying my order has been cancelled. With no explanation NOR did they tell me how I would be refunded. And guess what, I WASN'T. I spent I total of $14.98, damn near $15. I called the store 10 times, no one picked up. As usual. This wasn't the first time I had a bad run in at this jamba. My first 1 star review: I recently visited this location with my fiance on Dec 31 (New Year's Eve). We arrived a little before 5:50pm, and were hoping to get some smoothies. By the time we walked up to the storefront, all the chairs and outside furniture was packed up inside the shop. When we peeked our head in, the young male employee told us that the shop was closed, and when we told him that it's still before 6pm, he stated that all the systems were down. To me, this seemed like a false claim. After all, it was New years eve. He probably wanted to get out of work asap. My fiance and I were really irritated by this- we had never been to this location, and had to drive out of the way to get to this particular shop. We had no other reason than this Jamba Juice location, which we made sure was open by checking yelp, to exit from the freeway or spend some of our last precious moments of 2016 there, but it was closed. By the time we realized we weren't going to get our Jamba Juice smoothies, it was so close to 6pm (the time most businesses close during holiday hours), that we knew we wouldn't be able to visit a different establishment. Will not be returning to this Jamba Juice location again. They have always been average at best but because it was the only one in SL, we would usually come here on the way home or on wknds. On a previous occasion, not only was the wait over 40 min but I notice health code violations including receipts dragging on the floor since they were not able to keep up with orders, then dipped into the wash water that is used to clean the blenders so they can stick the receipt on the blender. They said they would correct that and ensure workers are properly trained so I decided to give them a second chance. This time since there is a Bogo promotion, again the wait was long which I can see pass that but they were giving people the wrong sizes. I am not sure if it was rung up wrong by the cashier or made wrong but we ordered two mediums and got 1 medium and 1 small. Another customer there ordered 2 large and got 2 medium. When we brought up the wrong size, the response was well that's all we have. No apology, no trying to figure out how it was screwed up or what they can do to rectify it. First of all, if you are having a promo, anticipate the bigger rush and properly staff your store. If it must be understaffed, don't staff them with workers so green that they have trouble inserting a straw. I have been to other stores including alameda just 2 days before during BoGo promotions and never had this many problems. If you are in SL area, go to the Hayward location or if you are in between 2 Jamba Juice locations drive 10-15 min further and go to another like alameda. You will probably have your drink faster and accurately instead of coming here. Should've just gotten another Shammie Shake from McD instead where the service is even better. read more

Every time I come Here I feel like I may have a better experience but it fails every time. 1. We order and no smile from the cashier shaudai. 2. 3 people behind us got their drinks before us. 3. After knowing that they messed up one girl apologized but didn't finish making the drink. 4. Shaudai then started the orange juice them left it on the back counter to add more oranges to the bucket. The service was very rude and the way she made my drink I watched her the whole time. She didn't care what she put in the blender. It was other things in my fringe drink that was not supposed to be blended. She don't even look at what she was doing with not a care in the world. This is why I hate when kids at school have jobs. The place is a mess. My drink was very nasty and I did wanna have a fuss with them about how they do things. It would have been a very big problem and they would have fuss back with me so I didn't do anything at all. This had happen more than once. I had a horrific experience. I ordered an açaí bowl via the online app. The primary purpose of the app is to be more efficient and save time . I send my son in to get my order he is given an incurrent order, which forces me to park and go in myself. Once I go in I'm told that I can just have this order because the workers are unsure of who's order I actually have. I inform the gentleman that I am severely allergic to coconut and this is not what I ordered. He informs me that they are unable to accommodate my order because their out of multiple products. At this time I am informed that I must wait in a long line before receiving my refund. After waiting in a rather long line I am informed that I cannot get a cash refund or a receipt varifying I did in fact receive a refund . As the cashier, a young women goes into the back office to handle whatever a women is given clearance to go into the work station behind the counter and prepare her food herself. Now I am assuming she worked there but other people's food was also back there and she did not wash her hands, during a global pandemic. This assumed employee begins cleaning this very messy work area. To sum up my experience I left with no proof of refund and without my order..... attached are a couple of pictures I captured. For some odd reason I can't order my stuff online tried a good amount of times. But walking in is awesome because people are friendly, lines move fast, they get down behind the counter shakin some damn shakes. Or smoothies. Or bowls. Ya know. Smoothie recommendations: Caribbean passion is refreshing and delicious. Doesn't disappoint. Friends like white gummy and mango a go go. When they have the pumpkin shakes they are so fire!! I got the pistachio power smoothie. Pretty good. I usually get protein smoothies as meal replacement and add Kale. Lotta horchata or la vida mocha if you need some caffeine and a filling type of meal. I think they used to have a cookies and creme smoothie but I don't see one time they added in cookie crumbles for me. But I just took it out of my usual better for me any how. read more

First, let me say that the staff is super friendly and try to e as accommodating as possible. They are out of everything necessary but keep a friendly smile and a calm demeanor. Back to them being out of everything. How can they possibly run while out of necessary ingredients! How dare their manager/ owner have them working like that. Love this location. this is my number one go to spot in the entire Bay Area. They all typically greet you as soon as you step foot in their building... I typically order the same exact thing everytime I go to jamba juice. this location though, I never have to tell the majority of emloyess what I want. When I walk in they ether recognize me or once I start placing my order they realize who I am and yell to the back what I want and they always make sure to say "Extra. Extra thick" Also, thsi is the only JJ I don't have to monitor when making my drink. A few locations in the bay I have to tell them not to give me 2 scoops of ice. I was surprised that I actually had a good time here. Came here with my girlfriend to order some drinks and acai bowls in store. Surprisingly there was no line when we showed up. We received a friendly greeting as soon as we walked in from all the employees. We ordered and all our items were received within 5 minutes. I highly recommend their acai bowls; they're a bit expensive but they're healthy and taste really good. As soon as we got our order the store had a rush of people, and I was grateful that we showed up before the other customers. But from my observations, the staff moved quickly and efficiently and got that line down in a timely manner. read more

I kept wondering why this Jamba wasn't 5 or at least 4 stars, and today I finally understood why. Don't get me wrong. I'm normally super on board with this place, service has always been friendly and efficient. It's also the one closest to my house, so the convenience of a good spot was awesome in my book! But TODAY, I come at around 6pm. It's not super busy when I walk in - I'm the first customer (thankfully). There's one guy taking orders. And one other chick (visible) that's sweeping up. I wait, then another customer and her son give their orders. They come over to wait. I look over, and NO ONE is making drinks. I look over at the cash register, and there's now a growing line of customers. A couple minutes pass, girl still slowly sweeping, and no one is making drinks. All of a sudden, another staff member comes out! Amazing... Except she also has a broom... She walks out and goes in to sweep the bathroom. She comes out, jokes with the other girl still sweeping slowly. Neither of them makes eye contact with any of the customers, although I'm staring daggers at this point (I could be hangry, or it could be that my toddler & baby are waiting with hubby in the car through this now 10-min ordeal). After 6 order tickets are now hanging (with a still growing queue of customers), the sweepers decide to start making drinks. I don't mind that you gotta keep your store clean and of course, you'll be closing sooner rather than later, but get your ish together and delegate ONE person per task, especially since customers aren't going to forgive inefficiency when it's not necessary. HOWEVER, I wouldn't stop going to this store, since this is ONE time out of the many times I've been, AND I've never seen these particular Jamba staffers before. But please get organized. Remember when it was 110 degrees out a few weeks ago? The service wasn't impeccable, humans are humans, but I have to give it up to the workers here. This place was jam packed. We're talking maybe 10 groups of people in line, and maybe 10 groups of people waiting for their orders. Still got a yelled salutation when I walked in (+1 for effort, this salutation got yelled roughly every 2-3 groups that came in) They had many more workers than they usual do (+1 for being prepared manager). Now, customers were hot, line was long, wait was long. None of the workers ever lost their cool either with a customer or with each other (+2). This includes when they had to remake someone's drink order x2. While the customer glared and pointed out things they were doing wrong at the counter. (+1). No, they weren't being stupid, it was a really complicated order with multiple substitutions and multiple add ons. Don't think I would have been as collected. read more

I was here about a year ago and the service was sloppy, the workers were slow and noisy-talking amongst themselves about their failed sports teams but today at 11:30 am, I was pleasantly surprised. As soon as I came in I was greeted with a smile and even though there was a line-one of the workers was pre-making the orders, needless to say service was super fast and my chunky strawberry bowl was delicious.The only banter amongst the workers was about upcoming orders.
