CARE FOR FROTH? Are you bored of same regular coffee, cream n sugar you get every morning? Try Seattle's Best in Hayward at Southland Mall. It sure is an awesome morning treat in itself. Why? Because, as you can see from the image I took of it. IT'S FROTHED!! I came here right before pandemic happened, and that surprised me when they served my regular coffee well frothed for only couple of bucks. It made me sooo happy. But then I thought they made a mistake and a lucky day for me. But the charges didn't change- still $2.50. I felt kinda overwhelmed, though not exaggerating. I've been trying to go back, but sadly, like most of business, they closed temporarily. So now, a day right after reopening (June, 16, 2021) I anxiously waited just to get that frothed coffee again. Maybe I didn't have to ask for it, but I made sure that they're still making it, so I asked anyway. And once again, it made my morning heavenly! (I waited an hour for them to open just for this). You see what I mean? I don't usually finish my coffee in one sitting. All coffee lovers should try Seattle's Best!! For just a cuppa Joe with cream. It's frothed for you! (Though ask to make sure). The name of this little hole-in-the-wall café says it all. I come to Seattle's Best every week because their coffee puts me in a sunny mood no matter how cloudy it is. I think this place does especially well with their mochas and espressos--my usuals--but their teas and frappuccinos are no less impressive. The flavors are so rich and decadent, never too strong or too weak, but just right. What's more, all the staff here is super friendly and warm. I love that the barista always asks whether you want your drink hot or cold, and what choice of milk you'd like. There are so many flavor customizations to add on top of that. For the price, I think you're getting something far more worth the money than the bigger café chains out there. Before Borders Books went out of business, they were hands down my favorite bookstore, and a large part of that reason was due to the fact that they housed Seattle's Best Coffee cafes. I haven't seen one around since Borders went downhill, but I was super thrilled to see one housed within Tutti Frutti at the Southland Mall. I'm not sure what new concoctions they've come up with since a few years ago, but I generally stick to my old favorites: green tea latte, white chocolate mocha, regular mocha, and cinnamon latte. I got the green tea latte with no water and no extra sweetener and nonfat milk this time around, and it was just as good as I remembered it. I think I prefer their green tea latte to the one currently at Starbucks, mostly because it tastes lighter and a little bit more fruity. I once had a friend try a sip and describe it as "apricots dipped in water," but.. I can't say I agree. It does have that somewhat fruity undertone for some reason though. The iced version with whole milk is absolutely delicious. Their white chocolate mocha was the best I'd ever ever ever had back in the day, although I got it with half syrup and nonfat milk because the original version was way too sweet for me (I do the same thing at Starbucks though, so if you like how sweet Starbucks drinks usually are, you shouldn't opt for half syrup). The regular mocha with half syrup and nonfat milk is good as well, but I don't recommend deviating towards their raspberry mocha and the like.. I remember that wasn't too pleasing. As for lattes, I will forever be in love with their cinnamon latte! I haven't found anywhere else that actually makes a legitimate cinnamon latte, and Seattle's Best does it by using actual cinnamon instead of just the syrup. I can't wait to go back and get this again after all these years! It makes me a little sad that Seattle's Best is virtually extinct nowadays, but at least I now know the location of one, even if it's tucked away in a teensy little booth in the midst of a frozen yogurt shop. Like I said, I've only tried one drink from this location and can't vouch for how well the others are made, but if it's anything like the Seattle's Best of my memory, it's definitely worth a trip. read more

SCAM!. this company has not checked its vending machines in months and spoiled milk is coming out of them. you show be ashamed of yourself. students & staff at our campus have complained about this issue. also, your dispenser for black coffee has ran out. your dispenses hot water only no coffee smh. we call about our refund. and was placed on hold for 20mins. are you just stealing money from us? read more

If only they stay at their station than just always helping out on the other side. Yes it's busy there but people do want coffee because there is not Starbucks in the mall. I would say they lose a lot of customer when people see that no one is working in the station. But the coffee is good n I like that they hold on to repeat customers stamps. read more

Cheaper than Starbucks and tase as great! I've been here twice once for coffee their Carmel macchiato DELICIOUS! The second time was for their red bull infused AMAZING. Worst coffee, and horrible customer service. He was so busy on his phone he didn't know I was in line to order, remaining on the phone talking he took my order, handed me a broken cup spilling all over the counter. It was my first time here and definitely my last!!! Upon my arrival the associate Kim was very nice and friendly. She took my order I ordered 4 regular White Chocolate Mocha Frap. She made the drinks and I took them. They looked ok, with the exception that the drinks were white instead of brown which caught my attention. Upon trying the drink, it was watery and tasted like iced blended milk (slushee) as my co workers tried it, the hated it too. We called and they said they don't add coffee to their blended drinks unless we ask! What kind of establishment is this. From my experience with Starbucks, the white chocolate mocha has coffee!!! As I get that all the time! We walked back to take the drinks back and again Kim was very nice! She explained everything to us. I nicely mentioned that it should be noted or stated somewhere that the blended White chocolate Mocha drink doesn't have coffee, as it's misleading that it's below the blended coffee beverages on the menu. The Manager Charlotte was trying to make us pay again for the drinks, as she didn't want to have her employee to makes us another drink! Charlotte was very rude from the very beginning, in front of us she told her employee Kim that when she was done she needed to speak to her in the back! Not professional at all. Not sure why she is the manager! No customer service skills at all. I give Kim the five stars for being really nice and actually trying to help us. I just feel bad that she has such a crappy manager. She deserves better and more respect!! They ended up replacing our 4 drinks with iced caramel macchiato. I wish it was possible to give 0 stars, because that is what this place deserves. The Manager Charlotte was rude to me over $2.50. I orered a coffee, as I have many times before, but the coffee was watered down this time. I understand if something does not come out good, but this lady had no manners. She said it would take 10 minutes to make a new batch of coffee, I said I could not wait and I would take my money back instead. Then she rudely answered no returns, no exchanges, if you don't like what we have then too bad, you have your options. I argued about the poor customer service once, but I was not going to waste my breath any more. I have been in the food industry for a long time, but I have never experienced a power triping barista before. I am not petty enough to fight over $2.50, but I will say this, a high schooler could do a better job managing this store. I do not know why they hire these kind of people.
