    Lobster ravioli
    Hussain L.

Busy Italian kitchen eatery, definitely make a reservation! Excellent service, wide variety of pizza, pasta and rotisserie dishes. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli, and the new ragu napolitana wood fire pizza (beef and veal). The Caesar salad is a nice simple pairing. It can be a loud atmosphere, so be prepared for that.

While in the North End for dinner, we actually were planning on checking out another restaurant, but were turned away because they closed their kitchen an hour early. We found Quattro down the street and they happily seated us even though they were closing in an hour. I loved the dark ambiance of Quattro with it's open windows and spooky vibes. We ordered the Soppressata Pizza, Meatball Madness and Cacio e Pepe to share. They even gave us complimentary warm bread with pesto on the side. We really enjoyed everything, but I wasn't too impressed with the Cacio e Pepe - I was hoping for a more pepper flavor. The pizza was good, we really liked the crust and we also really liked the flavor of the meatballs. Quattro offers lots of seating inside and I believe they even had a bar area. Our server was super nice, personable and gave us great tips and recommendations on places we should visit while in town! We left full and satisfied! Check them out!

    Napoletana with sausage and prosciutto

Was in town on August 21, 2025 and was told to try Quattro. So glad I did. This place was hoppin!! Very busy place, very tight space with limited seating so make reservations. SERVICE: Super nice at the front. We did not have a reservation, but they saw we had the "we need pizza" look on our face so they quickly found us a spot at the bar. Raffaele, the pizza chef, was there and was super friendly and helpful. FOOD: We only tried one pizza (I think it was the Napoletana) did not have cheese, but the dough and sauce was outstanding. We added sausage and prosciutto....One of the best pies I've had in a long time. So glad I tried, you should too!!

Great little Italian place, very busy though so I'd recommend a reservation. They won't seat you unless your party is present, so make sure to be on time. I really enjoyed the pizzas, they were thin, crispy, and had nice chewy crusts. The presentation was good, and they can bring you honey and red pepper flakes if you'd like. The spaghetti and meatballs were actually pretty good too! Would come back again but more for the pizza.

    Fried Mozzarella in Carozza

What an amazing experience we had at Quattro in the North End. Our service was top notch, I love going to a restaurant where you can watch your food being prepared. We order the fried mozzarella and the margarita pizza. The fried mozzarella was delicious and the margarita pizza was the best pizza I have had in my life. If you are ever in the North End, you must try this place!

    pesto pasta
    Akshita P.

The pesto pasta was unbelievable. One of my favorite things I ate on my trip to Boston. The mushroom pizza was great but nothing standout. Ambiance is a bit chaotic -- with every table full in a small space gets to be loud. Even our server had a hard time hearing us and had to bounce around to hear each individual speak or ask a question.

If you're looking for authentic Italian in Boston this is it! The location is very cozy; but the service is on point and the chef does an amazing job with preparing the food. The lobster Ravioli was so good and it was a nice size portion. The shrimp limoncello was a nice appetizer. Very fresh I would visit this location again.

Waiter lost our ticket. Order came out an hour after we placed it. Pizza was ok--sauce. The crust too doughy. The ravioli was decent but not at the price I paid for the time I waited. Ambiance sucked because the only thing I saw was other tables receiving their food, eating, and leaving as I sat there like Micky the Idiot.

Very nice friendly ambiance , little loud but adds to the character . Food is great , delicious pizza crust , reasonably fast service . Give it a shot if you're looking for good pizza or pasta

Short rib pizza - heart shaped on Valentine's day!

My favorite date night spot in Boston! Food is all great but I think their pizza is the best. The service is so great here and you can't go wrong with anything. And one of the best espresso martinis i've had!

Mama Mia....delizioso! We ordered two pizzas for three of us ---just a quick little meal with drinks for lunch. The service was incredible and the flavors of the pizza even better . The crust was just what you dream of in an Italian experience and everything was so fresh. My favorite of the two was the broccoli rabe but the Marguerita was close behind. The atmosphere was open and lively---with open windows for some air and people watching potential! It was a memorable meal and I would love to go bak but next time for a full course dinner or lunch!

    Baby octopus
    Gabriela D.

We tried this restaurant during our visit to the North End. Overall, it was good and decent for the price. We started with the baby octopus -- the flavor was great! However, I expected tentacles rather than several small whole ones. That was my mistake, but if you're a fan of baby octopus, you'll probably enjoy it! The fig, arugula, and goat cheese salad was a solid choice. We added prosciutto, which was a nice touch. I feel like it really pulled the pizza together! The pasta dishes were okay. I ordered the cacio e pepe, and while I usually love this dish, the sauce here was much thicker and chunkier than I'm used to -- it lacked the creamy consistency that makes it comforting. The chicken parm was probably the best thing we ordered of the night -- classic, flavorful, and well done. Apps and pasta choices overall felt a bit average, and the service was great. Our server, Jhonathan, was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful with the menu -- big kudos to him! The ambiance is intimate and cozy, typical of North End spots, and perfect if you're looking for a quieter, smaller place to dine. Overall, this place is fine if you're looking to check "Italian in the North End" off your list, but I wouldn't call it a must-visit.

Great service! This place definitely gave the vibe of Italy! It was cramped and loud! Food was great, we just had simple appetizers and drinks!

I was expecting a delicious pizza packed with flavor. Instead I got something that I had to force myself to eat. I know Boston is not known for their pizza but I was expecting something halfway decent. If it was not for the Uber Eats discount I would have been upset with spending the cash. Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

The scale of the room is genuinely impressive, leaning heavily into old-world glamour with dark velvet, chandeliers, gold accents, hidden rooms, and cocktails that feel theatrical. It's loud, energetic, and unapologetically designed for celebration nights. That said, the experience was not quite as intimate as I had hoped for. We were seated in the corner of the two-person table section, and I ended up sitting almost at the "head" of the area looking down the row of tables. It felt oddly exposed and very close to everyone around us. Instead of feeling tucked away on date night, it felt more like being inserted into the movement of the restaurant itself. The service reflected some of that energy too. The staff was clearly trying their best in a packed room, but the pace felt a little slow and chaotic at times. The food, however, was consistently excellent. The Duck Prosciutto was one of the most balanced dishes of the night. Every component stood out individually, from the manchego pimento cheese to the quince syrup and smoked almonds, yet somehow everything came together in what felt like a perfect symphony. The Seared King Trumpet Mushrooms were lighter and more restrained, but still hearty and satisfying. The Mediterranean Octopus was outstanding, easily up there with some of the best octopus dishes I've had around Boston. The Borek Spring Rolls were playful and delightful, with a shell so light and crisp that the dish never felt heavy. The Lazy Lobster Dumplings were dangerously good, rich with black truffle butter but balanced enough that I could have eaten endless plates of them. Even the Bavette Steak delivered exactly what it needed to, especially with the anchovy butter adding that deep savory punch I love. Yvonne's absolutely earns its reputation as one of Boston's premier dining scenes. It is expensive, but the atmosphere, execution, and location all make it feel intentional rather than inflated. Still, I left feeling like it shines brightest as a group-night or celebration restaurant rather than a truly intimate date spot. I would absolutely go back, but next time I'd want a table of four instead of two.
