Long thin $13.00 a slice pizza that is made on a conveyor belt and tough as nails.

The Sals Pizza in TD Garden is THE WORST pizza I have ever had. So tough you can barely chew it. Stone cold, like they made yesterday. I realize the level of quality of food at the TD Garden is already low, but give me a break. Super high prices ($13.00 a slice!) and horrible food.

Overall, the pizza was good, but reheating the slices left most of it soggy. Towards the crust it was really good. The slices are massive for a single serving. One slice can easily be split. I had the veggie slice. The cashier/server was bit unfriendly. He didn't seem to have much patience for first time customers.

Being from South Carolina, you can't just get slices from places. It's just not a Southern thing and it really annoys me. Anytime I'm up North or Boston I try to pop into any place that has slices at least once. So how was it? Really nostalgic. Is this the best pizza I've ever had in my life? No. Not even in the same ball park. Is this a really solid slice? To some people, sure. For me? It just hit the spot. The sauce was good, the bottom was crispy/dusty, the crust was chewy (I personally like that), and you essentially get two slices for the price of one. If you grew up with this place or eat it on the regular you'd probably not care for it. For me? It just made me happy. happy.

I didn't realize that an order was actually two slices of pizza, so I got twice as much as I had expected. But that was fine, because it's pretty tasty. While the pizza slices are fairly standard, they are also quite good. The crust has a nice chew to it, the bacon was crumbled, and the pepperoni was crispy. Not a bad choice for a quick stop in to abate the hunger.

Just opened in this location... short line for hot pizza. Good flavor, nice crisp, a slice = 1/4 of a pizza all at an affordable price.

The menu refers to these as "Greek cheese bread" but somehow that doesn't do it justice - these were immensely pillowy and cheesy, with an amazing crust, with homemade honey butter on the side. I could have had just these for dinner and been satisfied. They really nailed the bread. My other favorites: 1. Hipiti: spicy whipped feta with crispy potatoes on the side. I don't do well with spice but I absolutely loved this. 2. Marouli: winter lettuce with the most amazing vinaigrette dressing. My only knock to this is, presentation-wise, they serve it with half of the plate empty and the other half with salad. I don't understand why restaurants do this because - one, it only highlights the smaller portion and two, we're just going to mix the salad all around in the bowl anyway. 3. Boudeto: daily catch in a beautiful tomato broth. For a seafood dish at a restaurant in Back Bay, this was priced at a fairly reasonable $28. The only dish that fell a little flat for me was the tzatziki - needed a bit more seasoning. As it was, I was eating mostly just plain yogurt. The table-side preparation was cool, though. The space is its own visual dinner, there's simply a lot to look at (including a drawing of Poseidon riding a surf board). We got the big table in the back, which was a beautiful glass structure with a whole terrarium underneath. We couldn't stop marveling at it throughout the meal. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful recommendations, came by to check on us often even though we were pretty far in the back, super patient with our questions. Hard to get reservations but worth it! Don't bother driving / trying to find parking unless you're willing to eat a hefty garage fee, it's Back Bay.

The service is so friendly and seamless which in itself makes for a lovely evening. Highlights were the mussels, which were very fresh and delicious. The service here was attentive with the waiters offering more bread for the mussels. Most dishes are a little spicy, so if you don't like spice, make sure to note that with the waiter. The miso gelato is one of the most delicious savory/sweet desserts, and has lots of nice crunchy accents of the sesame crumble. Cocktails are fabulous, very smooth, as well as the mocktails. Cons: The crostini was nothing really special, and one of them came without the oyster butter. The meatballs, which were tasty but had a slightly hard texture on the outside. The prawn risotto was pretty one-note in flavor, and the prawn heads tasted overcooked and slightly off. The radiatore was spicy and nicely plated. The Cremoso al Cioccolato had a strange flavor profile that didn't quite fit, and had such a large salted chocolate-truffle section that we did not finish it (which is saying something)! Overall, if you are looking for a solid dinner in Boston that will guarantee be a nice experience because of the atmosphere, this is a good place.

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)
