I was craving a pizza after a late night enjoying the city. I had a discount promo for Uber Eats and decided to use it here. They had several options on their online menu. I decided to go with the Wicked Pesto Pizza. It came with the signature crust, pesto base, grilled chicken, blue cheese, asiago, and fresh garlic. The driver dropped it off in front of the building and I picked it up. After first trying it, I was not impressed. It was very hard and dry. I had to reheat it in the microwave for it to be edible. I was expecting a delicious pizza packed with flavor. Instead I got something that I had to force myself to eat. I know Boston is not known for their pizza but I was expecting something halfway decent. If it was not for the Uber Eats discount I would have been upset with spending the cash. Next time I will try to check out some other spots for a slice of pizza. read more

Stopped by on our trek of the Freedom Trail hungry after hours of walking. We wanted something quick before we headed for the pastry shoppes and this placed smelled amazing from a block away. Service was quick for a single slice and the pizza itself was good but not great. The pizza did have a bit of a weird aftertaste after eating it about half way. For Boston pizza, this place was very solid! I'm always looking for options for a good slice and I would put Upper Crust in my rotation. However, if you're looking for the best option in the Beacon Hill area, go to Florina instead. My friend and I ended up camping out at the counter area for a bit, but they had regular tables as well. The service was fast, which I very much appreciated. This also seems like the perfect place to grab some pizza and take it to the Boston Commons. No complaints from me! read more

I kept coming across this place for vegan pizza and decided to finally try it. I can't figure out what everyone is ranting and raving about. 1. Expensive like most have noted but I was okay with that if the quality matched. It didn't. 2. The pizza dough was raw on the bottom. They had a few different topping pizzas, got pepperoni, and one that was filled with tasty basil on top of it. The slice was nice and thin and extra crispy! The slice itself was large and very filling! The inside of this place is small so there are a few small tables inside but they also had an outdoor area on the street. Honestly my favorite pizza in Boston, coming from a NYer! The staff are great, the shop is always bustling so you know it's good stuff! Favorite pizza is the vegetarian GOAT or the margarita, I love their calzones, their chicken tenders, fries, cheesy bread, pasta, and I've even had their vegan pizza and it's really great! You can build your own pizza and sub in vegan cheese which has always been a great option when I have friends over who are vegan. I'm now realizing how much of their menu I've tried....you can't really go wrong here! Stop in for a massive slice if you get a chance! I assumed it was somewhere in the hotel I was staying at. I went on a wild goose chase and finally found it. Just an absolute joke of a delivery service. Finally trying the Honey Butter Fried Chicken sandwich! The bun was fresh tasting a nice toast to it, that honey butter sauce it was so delicious (OMG!) the chicken was juicy inside and a excellent crunch on the skin (only disappointment was I asked for pickles and they didn't give it to me as requested :( Also I ordered the garlic parmesan wings!
