So glad I tried this place out! Love that they have slices in addition to whole pies since it was just me. At $5 a slice it's pretty reasonable for the size - I would say I got full after eating 1.5 slices. Got the Buffalo chicken and neighborhood veg. The Buffalo was my favorite and super flavorful. I'm also not a big crust gal so glad to see the crust wasn't too big. Do I love pizza, no but I like the pizza here and that says alot. I had a slice of buffalo chicken and a cheese slice. The crust is excellent. Good flavor, not too thick. $5 a slice makes it affordable too. This was one of my favorite things I ate while in Boston. Updated to add I got two cookies from the checkout and both were raw! Super friendly cashier greeted with big welcoming smile and history about the franchise. We appreciate that the person who has such a passion and knowledge works for the food place. We tried buffalo chicken and veggie special as yelp event perk with ordering two more slices of pepperoni and cheese. All of these were great, but our favorite was veggie special. It was not mushy at all and had perfect amount of vegetables and cheese. The crusts of slices were all crispy and well baked. Also the price was reasonable for costly Newbury neighborhood, ranging from 4-5 dollars a piece. I would love to get a whole box of pizza from here next time! read more

Loved this excellent little accidental Yelp Top 100 2025 find!! Sometimes the world gives you things you need, right when you need them, and this was one of those times. We stayed right across the street one night. We had no idea that this place was right here all proud and fancy! We needed something to eat quickly before a QOTSA show. Quick search yields this place sitting right there waiting on us!! Right there!! Across the damn street! We ain't even got to get in the Land Rover or anything. I'll say it again.... It was RIGHT THERE! We walk across the street and have a darned good old time! It's a bit sectioned off inside but we found a table right by the front window and did some people watching while we dined. I had a good IPA and C had a cider donut drink... WTH? I had a very large dose of Rick Simpson Oil before we left, so any minute now... We shared a pizza. My bride graciously allows me to have the meat lovers version even though I am sure she wanted something different. Stupid good pizza!! We ate the whole damn thing! Crust was some of the best I have had. Sauce, cheese, and toppings are high quality man. It was a damned good pizza to say the very least. RSO coming in now... I'm always looking for a good slice... and I'm usually disappointed when it comes to Boston pizza. I'd say the pizza here is solid, but nothing amazing. Would I bother going to this spot in NYC? No way. But would I consider it in Boston? Probably. Location wise, this place can't be beat. It's a bit on the smaller side, but they actually had a few tables so you can enjoy your pizza there. In town for a show and stopped here with my wife, we were very pleased. Ordered a 1/2 meat lovers and sausage and it was excellent. Very fresh ingredients and the sausage was packed with flavor. Also had the pleasure of meeting the owner who gave us some insight on the surrounding area. Very personable and took great pride in his shop and staff. Recently dealt with the owner/manager. And wow, must say, he/she is quite obnoxious and arrogant and come off with an offensive manner.

I give this place a gold star. I was blown away with the pizza slices. They looked fresh and hot so I had to dig right in. It was so delicious that after eating it I had to speak to the owner (1 of 2). I believe it's her and her husband that run the place. I asked her if David Portney visited and she said yes but it was at their old location and they were still perfecting their pizza. @DavidPortney come here again. An updated review is pending. Spoiler Alert: if you're on Newbury St as a pizza company, you have to be pretty good at what you do. I had a slice of cheese and a buffalo chicken slice which were delicious. The ranch sauce was really creamy, usually I go for a whiter sauce but that's fine. The chicken is great - not dried out, not any uneveness. And now for the show stealer: THE CHEESE SLICE! Never in all the years of my pizza eating would I give a standing ovation for a slice of cheese. But WOW. You take a bite and you're in pizza heaven. But in reality, it makes sense: fantastic crust, delicious sauce, fresh and delectable cheese. Without the perfect base, pizza joints just mask the quality. I can't tell which picture would do more justice so one's zoomed up close and the other is zoomed away. Now ..... for the final reveal. I Filipe, solemenly swear, this has been the best pizza place I've eaten from. And I've probably tried 300-400 spots in my life. New York Pizza: much too wide/big and greasy Chicago Pizza: c'mon that ain't pizza Sicilian: Tasty, but I want it thin and luscious Bar pizza (my fav - South Shore, represent!): while delicious and perfect biteability, can get a bit greasy, and stodgy at times. Great pizza. I stopped by for a quick lunch before heading to the airport. I ordered a Cheese and a neighborhood veggie. The cheese was $4 and the veggie was $5 (per slice). They were great slices. Honestly, I liked the cheese the best, but the veggie was good too. They do everything really well, especially the crust. I thought their sauce and cheese were great as well. My partner and I had a pretty solid experience at Union Park Pizza this afternoon. We sat in a cute outdoor seating area -- it was great to sit along Newbury St! This place had great pizza and a great gluten-free pizza, for my friend's daughter. I kinda struggle to find good pizza in Boston, it this place is legit. The pizza crust, both with and without gluten, are good. Service was great too, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and able to get a table. This location is great right on Newberry Street, a convenient place to pop in for a bite after walking around. They offer slices or full pies, have beer and wine options too. Came in maybe 10-15 after opening and pizza was already hot and ready which was great for me because I didn't have a lot of time. My new favorite pizza spot. I had no idea this gem would be hiding on Newbury. You don't imagine you're going to find a pizza place this good in Boston. This area is home to many expensive and trendy restaurants, but you can't go wrong with the old faithful pizza option. The pizza is crisp and awesome. Forget about all that nonsense around the "flop" that you hear about in pizza reviews. This pizza is what pizza should be. It's not swimming in cheese and oil. It's the ideal combination that tastes like a real chef made it. This is high quality dough, cooked to a perfect crisp. The toppings are awesome. This isn't your grandfather's pizzeria where they slap some pepperoni on a slice. This is pizza made with love and passion. I was really impressed. The owner is a super nice dude too. I will make a point to frequent this place because it's awesome. Staff is so freaking friendly too. The inside is small but has a few tables. It's definitely worth taking the time to come here. There's a reason this place is on Yelp's Top 100 restaurants list this past year. It's well deserved! The restaurant is super small and cozy. It's tucked away in a basement on Newbury Street. I would imagine it's hard to find a seat during peak busy hours. The service was phenomenal. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. It was really easy to place a to-go order online and pick up at the counter. The pizza was perfection. I got the meatball pizza: The thin crust is crispy with a hint of char. Savory and sweet sauce. Delicious mounds of ricotta and meatballs scattered generously. The 10 inch personal size was a great huge lunch, and could have been shared with a friend! I knew I had to check this place out when I saw it was the only Massachusetts restaurant to make the 2023 "Yelp Top 100 List". They offer slices and full pies, and you order at their counter and then they will bring the pizza to you. I ordered a slice of buffalo chicken as well as a slice of cheese. They were pretty big and it filled me up. I liked the ranch sauce on top of the buffalo slice. They were also cooked perfectly, not burnt at all. Only thing that can be tough is the seating. It's limited with only about 6 tables. Luckily we were able to find one on a Saturday night. Also beware they have hanging plants over some of the tables which I hit my head on when standing up...lol. But, on a cold night in Boston, this place was so cozy!
