    Great pizza

Great pizza, great experience! Owner/chef came out and talked to us. Six local bros were conducting a pizza comparison and declared his the winner while we were there!

Great burger and likely the best you'll get in the North End. It's an affordable $13 and the fries are perfectly crispy. Very friendly place and every meal I've had from them has been delicious.

Got a Buffalo chicken pizza to go. Really good. No bells and whistles just a good pie. No slices, only full pies. They have a large menu.

Regina is great and it's an institution and all, but don't feel bad about skipping the line and trying O'Cheese instead.

Italian Sub: $20 for a foot long, the meat was so plentiful it's almost overflowing, enough for two meals. The prisciutto was tender and juicy; the salami was firm and savory with a strong smokiness. Both are thinly sliced, so despite the thick stack, it was relatively easy for a bite. The provolone cheese was also generously portioned, with a robust yet not spicy flavor and a subtle nutty aroma, perfectly complementing the two meats. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar were particularly outstanding: mellow, tangy, and with a fruity aroma of grapes, key to the complex flavor profile. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all fresh, especially the onions were refreshing and a little zingy, perfect for removing the greasiness. Unfortunately, I was worried about not being able to roll it back up properly and making it inconvenient to carry (which it actually happened), so I took it away and ate it at the office. After about 40 minutes, the bread had become somewhat dry and hard.

I said salmon eggs Benedict and pointed at it. I can't do starch like French fries and she offered a fruit bowl. Then comes back and said there is additional charge for that. I said no thanks. Penny pinching by a restaurant is not classy. The food comes out and I noticed my order was wrong. The manager comes and asked me what I asked for. I said I pointed at the menu and said salmon eggs Benedict. She began arguing with me. Asking, did you ask for eggs Benedict with salmon or salmon eggs Benedict implying I was asking for salmon on the side. Seriously....get a clue. Cold food and poor service, and food coming out at different times is lousy. To top it off, because my food was slow to come out, a couple came in and pointed at our table requesting it even tho I had booked the table. Simply unbelievable to be kicked off the table after receiving the food so late and the wrong order. If the manager hadn't insisted I asked for eggs Benedict with salmon, and not the salmon eggs Benedict I would have let it slide. But nah... really poor service.

We walked into a simple counter-service space with limited indoor seating, the kind of place that feels more like a grab-and-go stop than a sit-down lunch spot. Even with its small footprint, there was a steady stream of customers coming in for one of the signature sandwiches, and the energy of the room stayed practical and focused on getting orders out efficiently. The lobster roll is the clear standout. We ordered one and found it generously filled with lobster meat, making it feel substantial compared to many other lobster rolls around the city. Whether you choose it hot with butter or cold with mayo, the focus stays on the lobster itself rather than overwhelming it with extra ingredients. The toasted roll added just enough texture without taking away from the filling. Although the lobster roll gets most of the attention, the rest of the menu offers plenty of options if seafood is not what you are looking for. There are oversized sandwiches, soups like clam chowder, and classic sides that make it easy to find something for different tastes. The portions are generous overall, making the prices feel reasonable considering the amount of food you receive. The service was quick and efficient, which fits the fast-paced counter-service concept. The staff moved through orders with speed, and the food came out without much delay. The biggest thing to keep in mind is the limited seating, especially during lunch hours or peak tourist seasons in the North End. If the dining area is full, taking your food to go or finding a nearby outdoor spot can be a better option. Overall, Pauli's is a great stop if you are looking for a satisfying lobster roll without an overly formal seafood restaurant experience. The generous portions, straightforward menu, and convenient location make it an easy place to visit while exploring the North End, especially if lobster rolls are at the top of your list.

This is the spot that I will take people to for breakfast when they visit...because you can't not get Sunny girl. I love the Lox sandwich, but pro tip: add in a fried egg. It goes sooooo well. Everything else is also good, especially the torta one, but the lox one is so unique. The citrus salad on it...just amazing. The store itself is a small shop and in the summers has outdoor seating. I've eaten in the outside area a few times, but I usually pick it up and take it back to my apartment. I think in a pinch you could eat outside, but inside is honestly way too tight because it does tend to get crowded. That brings me to my next point, I strongly recommend ordering online. While it's nice being able to order there and ask questions, you should be prepared to wait in a long line if you go in the weekend. It's safe to say this is a popular spot among locals...and everyone else. But rightfully so, the food is truly outstanding. A must try, and I can't wait for their new location in Southie!

For breakfast sandwiches in the city I'm used to Mike & Patty's, though I've been going to Archie's in downtown a lot more lately because I find it just as satisfying while also being much less expensive. I noticed Sunny Girl was somewhere in between in terms of cost. I also noticed how quickly they rose to foodie stardom, so I naturally went in with high expectations and the consideration that perhaps I'd have another quick service breakfast spot option under my belt. I made my way into Sunny Girl on a Wednesday morning before work at about 8:30. The place is very small, but there was a steady flow of people coming in, ordering, waiting a few minutes for their food and going on their merry way. They make it work. There are only a few stools inside for eating in, but they've got a few tables right out front for the nice weather. I ordered the breakfast grilled cheese with avocado added on, as well as an iced coffee. The coffee wasn't really anything to write home about for me, but I was really there for the sandwich. I grabbed my order and sat at one of the tables outside. Upon unwrapping the sandwich, it looked delectable at first glance. It had a decent cheese pull when I picked up the first half. For the first bite or two it seemed like everything inside worked together in harmony; that is until I realized that the bacon wasn't crispy. Not like it was just a little chewy on the ends, but legitimately undercooked on at least one side. To me, not many things are more dissatisfying than biting into gelatinous, underdone bacon. Not sure if this makes me nitpicky, but it kind of ruined the sandwich for me since I ultimately ended up picking about half of the bacon out. If the bacon was crispy or otherwise cooked more evenly, this surely would've been a knockout sandwich and the experience as a whole would've been worth at least four stars for me. Sunny Girl really seems to have a lot going for them; a good location, fresh ingredients, a loyal and ever growing customer base, an overall good concept. I genuinely want to like the place and my hope is that I just happened to catch them on an off day. It might be a little while before I return for another try, but if and when I do, I'll most likely end up trying a different sandwich and will also have to make a point to ask for extra crispy bacon.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Dinos is awesome! And the staff is very kind too (Note that the pic is taken from a train, I like to treat myself to Dino's before catching the Amtrak)

Was really looking forward to trying this place based on reviews so stoked when we found an open table. The excitement didn't last very long because the server, who refused to share his name, greeted us a family of four with two young children very rudely sent saying "you know we don't have a bathroom" and when we asked it they have a high chair he said no and told us to take all of our baby belongings off the table. Suffice to say, we left after being treated so poorly and found a family friendly restaurant that treated us more kindly.
