Old Stinky P. had a wicked bad craving for a Meatball sub the other day. Saw on Yelp that the food at this place was pissah, so punched it up for delivery. It arrived very quickly! The balls were quite large and tasty and there were four of them in the sub. Had cheese as well! Only minor issue was Stinky prefers a bit more sauce than what was on the sandwich. Will definitely try some of the other tasty offerings from Rustico in the future. read more

This pizza place will knock your socks off! It has a prime location, close to transit and hotels but feels very local. I ordered two slices of the special and my wife order a pepperoni and a garden salad. The pizza and salad were magnificent. It might be the best pizza I've had ever. The special was pepperoni, ricotta, hot honey, and basil, it was booming with flavors and made to perfection. The salad was as if they picked all the produce as they were making it; it was so fresh! The service was on par with the food. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!! GrubHub is probably the worst possible way to rate any dining experience, but if you pass that test, you know it's good food. I ordered this for our family to eat at the hotel after a long drive into Boston for a weekend trip, and enjoyed the fact it arrived hot and crispy. Had a great dinner here tonight with friends. We ordered the senza nome pizza, a Caesar salad, and I got a slice of cheese. The food was absolutely delicious - great flavor on the red sauce and a crust that holds up to toppings. The Caesar salad was super fresh, a nice light dressing and olive oily croutons that were to die for. The service was very friendly as well, feels like a hometown place in downtown boston. Not only is the owner amazing and one of the best people you've ever met, but everything is scratch made and absolutely delicious. This can very legitimately go toe to toe Regina's, Ernesto's, etc.. It's probably even better. If you were in the north end looking for pizza you should do yourself a favor and come to Rustico. My personal favorite is the pepperoni. It's loaded with those little cups the sauce's house made and so vibrant and fresh. The dough is amazing. You literally can't go wrong. Avoid the tourist traps and get some of the best pizza in the city of Boston. read more

Came across this pizza shop in our radar. Glad to have ordered pick up from here because we were too spent on eating out and just wanted to grab a quick meal and bring it back to our hotel. My favorite lunch spot around. I walk a long time in the rain sometimes to get these sandwiches. The chicken parm, meat ball, and bidabeep sandwiches are insane! One of the best chicken Parms in Boston hands down. My favorite meatball sub around, and the bidabeep with the fresh mooz and procuitto is light but great. They guy who works here is always super friendly too. People seem to like the pizza a lot the Sicilian looks so good, but it's like 5$ a slice... I was born in the 90s so I can't bring myself to try it yet. I want to try their calzones sometime but I think they don't do individuals anymore. read more

Just a corner location in Boston near our hotel... but this place was so great! It's a small little pizza place, but it's clean and inviting. The service was quick, efficient, and VERY friendly. Regina was packed. Was craving a slice. Walked a few blocks and found this gem. As good a Regina. Friendly staff. We wanted a casual dinner in the neighborhood and ended up at Pizzeria Rústico for slices of pizza. Amongst us, we had a few slices of regular pepperoni pizza and Sicilian-style margherita pizza. The pepperoni slice was okay but the margherita was pretty mediocre - the slices were on the hard/tough side which might have been related to how long our slices were heated. We took our slices to go but when I felt the box, it wasn't warm and after a five minute walk back, the slices were lukewarm at best. Slices were each about $5. read more

I can't believe more people don't know about this place! As a native New Yorker and picky eater, I know a thing or two about pizza. I have been coming here for about a year and a half now, typically taking a meatball ricotta pizza to go. The crust is baked to your liking, the tomato sauce is balanced, and the toppings are not overly salty or flavorless. As Goldilocks would say, this place is just right! The pizza is light and won't leave you feeling ill. I recently started getting slices to go and what a game changer. I can get four different types of pizza in one visit. All fabulous by the way. However I can't speak for the other food as I've only had their pizza. Above all, the owner is a good guy who is passionate about his small business. I would encourage anyone and everyone to stop by for a slice or 10! read more

Second time there this week! I think they changed owners during COVID. Menu is different. You have a good amount of options in the menu (salads, sandwiches, pizza, calzone, and breakfast options). Tried the Sicilian pizza (thick dough), was really good! I'm not a fan of thick pizza but as I never tried Sicilian I thought "why not?" and was definitely a win. Today I had the meatball sub.... Amazing, like homemade by your Nonna (grandma in Italian), perfect temperature, meatballs and Mariana sauce were super tasty and abundant. You have to try it! And the staff always SUPER nice! read more

Several menu items have changed, prices have increased significantly, and the food hasn't been as memorable as it once was. The biggest disappointment has been the service. During our most recent visit on a Friday night while my sister was in town, the service was noticeably poor. It felt like our server was simply going through the motions and didn't want to be there. Everyone has off days, but when you're paying premium prices for a night out, you expect at least a friendly and attentive experience. We typically enjoy supporting restaurants and are happy to tip generously when the service reflects the experience. Unfortunately, this visit fell far short of expectations. After several attempts to give the new location a chance, we've decided this will likely be our last visit. It's disappointing because we genuinely loved Posto for many years and had hoped the new location would capture some of what made the original so special.

You can even put multiple sauces in one container, but keeping sauces separate should be common sense.

For appetizers, I ordered fresh raw oysters and the scallop ceviche, I honestly don't know much about choosing oysters, so my waitress basically gave me a mini oyster class and I was impressed by how knowledgeable she was! She explained the differences between oysters, including how some are creamy and briny while others are much saltier, almost like taking a bite straight out of the ocean. Such a cool experience and something I genuinely appreciated. And that scallop ceviche? Hands down, the BEST ceviche I've ever had. The scallops were incredible, and I loved that they served it with root vegetable chips instead of the typical tortilla chips. Sweet potato chips added such a unique flavor and texture. Absolutely delicious! For dinner, I had the sumac-crusted tuna with haricots and assorted vegetables, and it was fantastic. The tuna was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and paired perfectly with the vegetables. Between the food, the atmosphere, the energy, and especially the knowledgeable and attentive service, Row 34 delivered a dining experience that I'll definitely remember.
