I can't believe it took me so long to try Mama Ana! This is such a cute cozy brunch place which I really feel this area needs more of. I love the Brazilian influence and the amazing variety. I absolutely love Pão de queijo and I love that they service it hot and fresh! You can even getting it toasted with different spreads.I got them with Requeijão (brazilian cream cheese) and it was one of the most incredible things i've ever tasted. They have a great drink and coffee selection also. I can't wait to come back and try more!!

Mama Ana is a delightful neighborhood breakfast/lunch spot with real charm to it. Conveniently close to where we were staying for our trip to the area, it was on our radar and after looking at the menu we were all sold. I enjoyed taking in the atmosphere as I waited to order and I even noticed Mama Ana interacting with a family she seemed familiar with. I had the breakfast tacos and the pineapple smoothie. They both seemed SO FRESH. The winner of my party seemed to consensus be the shepherds pie, so that's something I strongly recommend. Love this place!

Food-4/5 Atmosphere-4/5 Service-4.5/5 Mama Ana's seems like the quintessential neighborhood gem. It has a menu filled with options that are sure to cover everyone's tastebuds. With a wide variety ranging from salads and sandwiches to inspired takes on Sheperds pie and tacos. I had the BLT, admittedly because I was overwhelmed by the options, but it was very tasty! It was a slightly elevated take on the traditional BLT. The fries were crispy and cooked really well. I would recommend to try some of their unique offerings as I tasted some of my friends food who ordered the ground beef shepherds pie and it was delicious! Overall, I think this is definitely a place worth trying!

I recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Mama Ana Brazilian Breakfast/Brunch spot. I ordered creamy scrambled eggs with cheese, chorizo, and hot sauce were exceptional. I especially liked the cheese melted into the eggs that would pull from every bite. The portion was generous, and bursted with flavor. The combination of rich, creamy eggs and the spicy kick from the chorizo and hot sauce made for a satisfying meal! Very nice little spot for a casual breakfast/brunch for dining in or to go - staff is very friendly and exceptional!

Great food and many healthy options! The pudding is amazing. Amazing service with good recommendations. It has a chill vibe that makes you want to stay a while!

After a killer Sunday gym workout my friends and I went to Style Cafe for a quick breakfast. We got there around 9am and there was plenty of parking spaces and no wait time. I ordered the regular breakfast burrito with fresh OJ (yes, real, and fresh pressed oranges!). The food came out pretty fast and it was yummy. My burrito was pretty big and I was only able to eat half of it. The OJ was delish and I was really happy to find this treat in Boston.

Local cafe with juice/breakfast/brunch/lunch options! Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining! Nice portions, flavorful food, and friendly staff. There's a clean bathroom as well. Gets busy in the afternoon so come early! Lots of locals come here!

I had some pastel items, a coxinha, and some sweets. The ordering process was really straightforward and the service was super nice. Food was delicious. I would definitely order here again.

Went Sunday morning for breakfast and it was wonderful! Two of us had the Columbian breakfast, one had the chorizo pastel, and one had the empanada. The food was delicious and the coffee amazing! Definitely recommend

TL;DR - if you are from Bombay, are craving that specific Bombay Chinese food taste, and Vada Pav - look no further - this is the place. Most of their staff are fellow Mumbaikars - shout out to Shiv, Dhvani, and Ronak! Shiv, our server was friendly and our hungry table got straight to ordering which included a flavor packed and well priced Lychee Martini ($10), Masala Chai Hot Toddy ($12), and Spicy 'Lil Rita ($12) - being the best one! Food included some well name dishes like Kashmiri Deviled Eggs ($12), Vada Pav ($12), Rasam Risotto ($15), Butter Chicken Pot Pie ($20), Chicken Steak with Makhani Sauce ($18), Street Fried Noodles ($16), and Penne Pasta with Chicken for the kiddos. Food just hits the right spots and is very flavorful, extremely well seasoned, and perfectly spiced. Interiors and their bar is very inviting. Noise levels during our stay were on the lower end. Service was excellent. What was refreshing was they didn't charge us any automatic gratuity even for our large group - but absolutely deserved a generous one! Highly highly recommend if flavorful food is your thing!

Like other reviewers have mentioned before, some of the dishes arrive faster than others, so I think selecting a few dishes to share family-style among the group might be the best. This is also because I got the milk bread monte cristo ($18) which I thought was tasty, but quickly became too greasy to fully enjoy. It was a big portion which could be easily shared among a group. I also tried their zucchini and spring onion latkes ($18) and seasonal donuts ($12), both of which were excellent. The zucchini latkes were super soft but seasoned perfectly and had a nice aroma of charred onions. I highly recommend the seasonal donuts which are fluffy and not too sweet.

The menu is full of tempting options so it was hard to choose. We shared the grilled rosemary focaccia, grilled broccoli, roasted cauliflower cesar, and Thai sausage pierogi (with lime, mint yogurt) All were excellent. The grilled rosemary focaccia with fresh, warm, and fluffy and came with a honey whipped ricotta! The grilled broccoli was served on top of heavenly butternut squash hummus and covered nutty-crunchy goodness. The cauliflower cesar and pierogi were also very good; although, I'd probably try something else next time. It was more than enough food for a party of 2. We could have easily only gotten three options, which might have left room for dessert - although maybe not - they are generous portions. Anwho - All in all - great experience all around.

This is a pub-type atmosphere with a full-service, large bar serving cocktail specials and a gazillion draft beer options. There is a street-side patio if you wish to watch the people and cars at Davis Square. Five Horses serves American comfort food, and they do a pretty good job serving up their offerings. I ordered the steak tips, and they were OK. They were served Med/rare, as ordered, but they did need a bit more seasoning. Plus one ordered a steak salad, and it was OK. They were pretty frugal with the protein, and it came with an abundance of tomatoes. Another guest split a cobb salad it arrived without some ingredients, like bacon. Other diners stated that their dinners were excellent, so 4 stars seems about right. Even though they were very busy, our table was well taken care of throughout the evening. If I lived here, this would be in my rotation for a brew or two, catch a game, and enjoy a burger.

I saw it (flank steak,…read morechimmichurri sauce, mashed potatoes, and broccoli) at $29 and said I haven't ordered a steak in while, let's treat myself. Boy was I disappointed, it was literally four tiny slices of beef, about a ladle and a half of mashed potatoes (flavor was great but the texture was dry and it was hard to swallow), and the broccoli was broccoli. The steak was cooked to my liking (rare) but it was room temp and I would describe that serving size as maybe the equivalent of a medallion. Everything else our table ordered (pizza, shepherd's pie, and a burger) looked great but the flank steak is not it y'all. However the service was top notch and will definitely go back, just won't order the flank steak next time!
