Cute spot with easy parking nestled in Somerville. Seating was pretty cramped for my liking but the layout of the diner is narrow/unusual and that's not their fault. We got a breakfast burrito and eggs Benedict with tater tots. Breakfast burrito was pretty good, eggs Benedict was not. If you are an avid Eggs Benedict fan as myself, they use very little hollandaise on the benny's which is disappointing and the sauce itself lacks flavor. I'd go again and try some other items but we weren't crazy about the food or coffee we had - everything was pretty bland and lackluster this go around. Service was friendly and easy going. read more

It's a small dinner with great food served and service. As a longtime patron, I have had almost everything chef Freddie makes. My eggs Benedict was perfect and not sloppy as many places (in response to another Yelper). The coffee is outstanding and WAY better than other diners! I often take home a dinner when I am too tired or lazy to cook. Last night I had chicken with basmati rice and an excellent artichoke and tomato salad. Enough for two meals, I often share dinner with a always-hungry person! My visits are one to two times weekly so you'll find me either at the counter or at a cozy table. read more

Ordered delivery and the person who handled my call was so nice and polite. He even thanked me for our order and supporting their business. Usually breakfast delivery can turn out bad but my scrambled eggs, toast, and potatoes was yum. We even got 2 free pancakes based on our order being over $30. Everyone enjoyed their options. Y'all should try the Christmas special..it's not on the menu but if you're lucky enough you too can pay for a $9 drink and have it forgotten by a half drunk immigrant driver that doesn't know where it's going...these are real facts too not making this up. My boyfriend and I ordered the Irish Egg Benedict with home fries, breakfast burrito with sausage and tater tots, as well as an iced vanilla hazelnut coffee. We chose to do take-out, and they whipped out our order quite fast. We only waited for about 10-15 minutes at most. The iced vanilla hazelnut coffee was alright. It took a bit of shaking to get the sugar on the bottom to dissolve, but besides that, it tasted fine. The home fries were tender and soft, while the tater tots were crispy and nice. I enjoyed both sides very much. The corned beef hash was flavorful but not in an overwhelming way. I liked how the eggs were cooked in the consistency I preferred. The breakfast burrito was also not too bad. There were multiple sausage pieces inside the burrito, making it enjoyable. Surprisingly, it was not overly greasy. Overall, the portions were alright. By the end of the meal, I was satisfied but not overly stuffed. read more

My first time ever to this place my friend and i wanted to try it out this morning. We ordered Brianna's special which came with two eggs any style, two pieces of bacon, two sausages, and choice of home fries or tater tots, and finally pancakes or french toast. The special was straightforward and hit the spot. My friend got a mango smoothie for a drink and it was yummy, and i got a hot chocolate that was a bit watered down but i didn't mind. The people were very kind, and it felt like home walking into the cozy cafe. We could tell that there are regulars and that they took pride and care into what they do! Stopped in for lunch on a whim and was delighted by this clean, friendly, family- run business. Service was quick and the food was delicious. We could tell that the ingredients were super fresh. Prices are affordable and they take cash + cards. The family who owns this place is warm and welcoming. Formerly Thurston Spa, we had been eager to check out the place since reopening. We live down the street and frequented the Spa before it closed. We were a little nervous, but Brianna is really knocking it out of the park from my perspective. Still the same great prices, awesome home-cooked food, big smiles and quick service. If anything, the whole place just feels a little cleaner and more polished since Brianna has taken over. Cant go wrong with the bacon egg and cheese with home fries.
