Food here is simple and delicious. Interior is clean and service is friendly! We got the breakfast burrito, spicy shrimp club panini, and french toast. Our favorite was the shrimp club. It was packed full of juicy shrimp and SUPER flavorful and yummy. The breakfast burrito was also delicious and we left with happy stomachs. Will definitely be coming back when I'm in the area! Close to the USS Constitution museum, but far enough away that it wasn't crowded. Lunch is reasonably priced and the food and service were great. 5 people in our party and everyone got something different. Service was quick and we all enjoyed our sandwiches. I live in CT and for years this has been my go to breakfast place when I have a medical appt nearby. It's delicious and the staff is lovely. I always get breakfast- usually a breakfast burrito or breakfast tacos. Coffee is strong, I usually have to ask for extra milk. I recently had a shrimp corn soup to go and loved it. I was thrilled to see how busy it was this last visit because it feels like a place that may not survive so I'm always glad when it's busy! read more

I ordered a Greek salad with beef skewers. It came out to be expensive, but I figured that was because it was going to be a large portion. I got my order and it is a very tiny salad with about 4 tiny cubes of beef on it that added $5 and is fatty. The rest of the salad is lettuce. It should have been advertised accurately. This small little café is run by some really friendly folks! They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. There is seating inside at a few tables or the counters lined by the windows. There is also outdoor seating and fido is welcome! We ordered to go and I was awestruck with the portion size of everything. The banana bread was very moist and delicious. The smoothies and frozen coffees were large as well, but very sweet - so it's hard to drink the whole thing! And the food cost were very minimal for the amount you get. I ordered the Colombian breakfast twist (sans the chorizo) and had enough to two meals. Such a cute little cafe on the water in Charlestown! I got a really yummy latte and a sausage egg and cheese. The sandwich was still warm when I walked back to the north end. They wrap the sandwich in foil and then place it in a bag which really keeps the heat in. The sausage patty was really yummy- good quality. I got it on an English muffin and it was the perfect amount of bread. All good things over here at style! read more

Pretty busy on a Tuesday at noon, but there was still some indoor seating. Some of the menu items are pricey, especially the smoothies. I got the chicken veggie soup, which was very good, except a bit salty. The chicken salad sandwich was also good- it tasted like a lobster roll, but with chicken. My iced americano just tasted like an iced coffee- I'm not sure if there was actually any espresso in there. It was still pretty good, though. The staff was friendly and efficient. I stayed with my friend who lives across the street from Style cafe, and we came here for breakfast. Two thumbs up- if I lived nearby, I'd be here all the time. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese ($2), a strawberry and banana smoothie made with OJ ($4.75), and a double espresso ($2.50). I was hungover and this was a magical combination of food and drink. Everything was delicious and spot-on, and well-priced. The menu offered a lot of different breakfast options, with some delicious-sounding breakfast sandwiches, as well as hotter egg dishes like omelets or scrambled eggs. We didn't eat lunch there, but the menu sounded equally tasty- sandwiches, paninis, salads, and soups. We were walking and exploring the new neighborhood and found this hidden gem. It was late around 1:00pm but we had yet to have breakfast so we went in be aide we saw fresh baked goods in the windows. Upon walking in we were greeted nicely. It took us a few minutes to choose what we wanted but I got egg and cheese on a nice homemade brioche roll and she got an egg, cheese and sausage on a fresh croissant. They were both good sandwiches and breads tasted fresh. It is not a big establishment but they do have a decent amount of seating and serve other items than breakfast. I believe lunch and a few late lunch/early dinner items. I will definitely return again. They had a good variety of different coffees and loose leaf teas. Been in Charlestown for 5 years and I'm disappointed it took me so long to find this place. Amazing location with some outside seating (but just take it to go and sit by the water!), unbelievable staff and great food/beverages. The fresh-squeezed OJ is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Great & fresh sandwiches, wonderful selection of varied breakfast platters, awesome smoothies and some decent baked items as well. The staff are incredibly fast, organized, efficient, friendly and they make great breakfast! Five times is not a charm at style Café. While staying with my friend for a few months at Flagship Wharf, I decided to frequent style café out of convenience and their menu was fine. But every time I went there -- there was an issue of some sort of another. This last time I ordered a meatball sandwich got it all the way up to our apartment on the 7th floor -- only to find it had been made and served to us on moldy bread. There is no way that whoever made that sandwich did not realize that was moldy bread. There's just no way. A time or two before I remember I ordered a sandwich and a Diet Coke. As I sat staring at the cashier for 15 or 20 minutes I finally said to her "is my sandwich almost ready?" She replied "oh I didn't know you ordered a sandwich." Really? You think I'm just standing here staring at you for 15 minutes -- oy. I'm serious if you look at my profile I've never left a negative review, but after six months of nonsense they really need to get their act together. The Navy Yard deserves better. read more

Wow. I can't say enough about this place. I found it on a whim today when searching for a place for lunch and I am so happy I did. I got the falafel and it was absolutely delicious. Also, the staff was so friendly. You can tell that it is a local favorite because as I waited for my food I watched as multiple other guests came in and were greeted by name. One of the few places in Boston that does fruit smoothies right. A clever breakfast and lunch menu pairing humus with scrambled eggs, brie cheese and tomato, and green apple slices in the turkey panini sandwich. They are also generous with portions using fresh ingredients always. I like that they have indoor and outdoor seating with free wireless for those who want to hang out. It's also worth adding that they have three types of seating: table, bar and couch. That makes it nice whether you are with a group or flying solo. The only negative is that there are no public restrooms, so plan ahead. I've made a point to try almost everything and while I'm not always in love with the dish, I never have a bad experience. read more

Amazing, melt-in-your mouth breakfast sandwiches with a perfectly delicious, slightly-runny yolk. Yum. The ideal beginning to a lazy saturday or sunday morning. This is the only thing I've ever gotten, but the rest of the menu looks pretty great. I go for the plain old bacon-and- or ham-and-cheese, but they have all sorts of more interesting options for breakfast. Things with brazilian cream cheese or guacamole, for example. -1 star because EVERY time (except once) I order, they write down my breakfast sandwiches and not my coffee and the girl at the register inevitably forgets my coffee. It's not a huge deal, just annoying because it happens every time. I will say that the last time I went in she remembered my coffee. Hopefully this trend has ended. read more

While staying in Boston, I found Style Cafe because of it's close proximity to my hotel. They had a lengthly menu with breakfast and lunch options to interest everyone. I ordered the turkey, brie, tomato and basil on brioche which hit the spot! My boyfriend ordered the Colombian breakfast and was so happy with his choice. I also ordered the lentil soup to-go which was homemade, and tasted just like moms! The cranberry bread was moist, and perfectly baked! And their tea selection was great! This place is just average. If you are really in a pinch its not bad. The Fruit smoothies are good. I hope they are reading this and learn to make a half ways decent cup of coffee. I am not sure if its lack of training or just bad bean but the coffee is not good. Sandwiches are ok but have only really had the breakfast ones and its nothing fancy. One big problem is the size of the place. It is narrow and you can never really get comfortable if you are going to sit down. I would hate to see them go out of business but I am not really thrilled with the place and I wish it was better. Love this place! I'm not sure how long it's been around but I have worked in the Navy Yard over 5 years now and can't believe it took me so long to find this gem. It's a small place but there is room to eat in - coffee table with couch and club chairs as well as a few small tables/chairs and a window bar with stools. Also, its steps from the pier so not a bad 'to-go' option if you enjoy eating outside in the warmer months. The staff is super friendly and even though it can get busy during lunch hours, they don't make you feel rushed. The gentleman who typically calls out the orders (who I believe is the owner) is super sweet! I was drawn here initially after hearing great things about their smoothies and was very excited to try them. However, after reading the menu on line before my first visit (being hungry didn't help) I wanted to try it all! So far I've had a turkey/swiss on whole grain with avocado and although very simple, it was delish! I've also had their tuna melt on glueten free bread (bread home made by them) and it was one of the best I've had. Their tuna is listed on the menu as lemon tuna and I suspect there are some interesting herbs in it as well. YUM! I washed it down with an iced green tea which was perfect! As my friend and I left today the owner was making smoothies and we joked with him and said we're dying to try them but maybe next time. He laughed and offered us a free sample of the strawberry/banana/mango so we happily accepted expecting a sip or two to taste. He gave us 3/4 of a small size cup! We were shocked and insisted on paying but he refused our money. The smoothie was definitely fresh but this particular one was made with orange juice and I'm not usually a fan OJ as a base due to the acidity. But, they do have many other options (some with yogurt, etc) that I look forward to trying this summer! Overall, a agreat little spot and reasonably priced. A sandwich, chips and a drink for lunch will run you around $10. They do have other intersting menu items such as burritos/burrito bowls, falafels (plate or wrap), burgers and paninis. 4.5 stars for Style! You don't have to have style to enjoy Style. Naturally, going to school right in the Navy Yard and living in Charlestown, Style is a staple for me, and not simply out of sheer convenience. Style offers awesome sandwiches, burritos, and even breakfast items at a super reasonable price. I've literally tried every panini and style and each one is amazing. From the roast beef to the turkey to the chicken, they are all bomb.com. You know that Style is good when you can barely fit in there during lunch time, although the staff does a pretty good job of getting food out accurately and at a decent clip. The employees there are also super friendly and nice every time we go in there (which is very often). You would think that a lunch place such as Style in prime real estate would be pretty spendy, but I was super surprised the first time I got it at what a great deal it was. I don't think any of the sandwiches or even burritos for that matter go over $6-7, which is super reasonable. Even if didn't live/go to school in Charlestown I would go out of my way to get Style, its that good. Style wins my award for being one of the top lunch spots in Boston! read more

Great little place! Food is good. Giving it 4 instead of 5 stars bc I feel that lately they've gotten sloppy. The store is not as clean as it used to be (clean the windows, gross!), and they seem to be lacking in efficiency. The person at the cashier seems to be managing ringing people up, making coffee, smoothies, etc. The line builds up and gets pretty long, which can be annoying in such a small place.
