The toasted sandwiches here are sooo good. The glorious day flat was breakfast perfection - perfectly toasted crunch bread with gooey runny egg, bacon, and tons of cheese. It's what breakfast dreams are made of. While pricey, the portions are large - it's essentially two sandwiches so you won't be left hungry. I didn't try the coffee or smoothies but they seem to offer a nice menu of options. No inside dining though but we found a bench across the street to enjoy our sandwich. Street parking only so you may have to drive around a bit to find a parking spot that isn't residential. Couldn't really see the prices of items on the menu boards though so that was a little annoying. That said support this awesome women owned family business and check out some awesome sandwiches.

After dropping my love off at the airport I made my first visit at TFs for a latte and toast. It is a crime that they don't have seating. Of course if they did they would never get you to leave : ) A great, comfy, vibe. The crew were full of sunshine and the offerings looked d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!!! My choices were tasty. The toast (flat bread) is a creative twist and the mix of ingredients - spice, avocado, and "Je ne sais quoi" were mouth wateringly pleasant Be patient looking for parking. Park legally, no need to add a parking fine to your total It's not so bad if you have to walk a few blocks to get to this little jewel. Its only a couple of blocks to the harbor if you want to enjoy your treasures while taking in the skyline and passing boats and ships.

I really enjoyed the coffee but was a little on the sweet side so ask for less pumps if you don't like sweet coffee. There is no seating in there so be warned! I have not tried the food but friends have said the food is alright. I would go again for coffee

A beautiful little gem of a cafe offering delicious and healthy food, almost all of which can be made gluten-free. I had the salmon toast (not gluten free), which was delicious!! The staff are sweet and kind, and I'm so happy we found this little place and ate our brunch down the street at a nice park with benches. Highly recommend!!

I have been coming here for years!! The flats are the best and always fresh! The employees are always so nice too. I order online for pick up and it's so convenient. I am not a coffee drinker but I love their mocktails! I will be trying the smoothies next :) The store always look cleaned and organized.

Little shop at the corner with great service and delicious flats! It is great for on the way out or into the airport. One can order from the airport or after getting the rental car, then drive over to the store to pick up the order. We stopped in at 7AM for breakfast after we got off the flight. We ordered online and found street parking near the store. When the order was ready, one would receive a text. The store doesn't have table and chair so we ate in the car. The employees were super nice and accommodating on our order. We didn't wait for the order ready text and just stopped in. We didn't mind to wait but they hurrily prepared our order! The flat bread was toasted with meats or vegetables in the middle. Since the flat bread was toasted, it was soft yet crispy and warm. Yummy! Highly recommended!!!

A small gem for tasty sandwiches on the go. I was on a time crunch and they whipped these up really quickly thank you!! The pesto chicken is STUFFED with micro greens, chicken, pesto eat while hot and beware of any juices dripping out! The chicken wasn't overly salted either, the greens balanced out the flavors. The The turkey club is toasted I didn't know this HA despite the name of this eatery LOL I was expecting a regular cold cut sandwich/panini. Nevertheless, love a good turkey sandwich it's cheesy and layered with lots of turkey. There is no seating inside, it's an order and go type of place. The latte Is just okay, it lacked espresso flavor, I recommend coming for their toasted flats. Tip: don't order on their Yelp website menu! It seems to be outdated as I tried ordering off of their first only to be told what I wanted has never been sold at that establishment/location (staff were short with me when I was confirming the location over the phone). It was confusing as it was a website directly linked to their Yelp page yet it doesn't reflect their current menu.

Toasted Flats is a great local coffee spot in East Boston. This dog-friendly coffee spot is a female owned small business that provide exceptional service. Their coffees have a fun twist with a giant block of frozen ice at the bottom to keep your drinks super cold all morning . If looking for a quick coffee on the way to work definitely stop by

Excellent sandwiches with fresh ingredients and great portion size. The menu listed on Yelp has the wrong prices though, the flats (toasted sandwiches) are about $11-12 each. Menu on their website is accurate.

Absolute perfection. The photo says it all ... the ingredients were world class, preparation was masterful, and the char was epic! I really want to like this place, I honestly do. Their pizza is good, and the chicken parm is…read moresolid. Unfortunately, the steak and cheese is a hard pass. I ordered the South Philly steak. They were out of long hots, which isn't a huge deal, but seems would be a major part of the flavor profile. It comes with a garlic aioli, which I'd strongly recommend skipping. It's extremely heavy on the aioli with very little garlic flavor, and the added provolone actually takes away from the overall taste rather than enhancing it. The real issue, though--the nail in the coffin--was the steak itself, which is obviously the most important part. It's advertised as being shaved fresh on site, but the trimming and consistency need serious work. I ended up throwing away more than half the sandwich. Even picking through the meat, a large portion consisted of thick, roughly 1/8-inch thick slices full of gristle (see picture) that were impossible to chew. That's not what I expect from a $19 cheesesteak. I'd expect that quality from a Market Basket sandwich, not from a place like this, and that was genuinely disappointing. As a side note, the house-baked sesame roll is a nice touch, but it really should be toasted. As served, it was overly soft and heavier than a typical sub roll. Two stars solely based on the cheesesteak. It's not a one-star review only because the pizza and chicken cutlets are still good here.

I've eaten here before (it's a small area, but does have a lot of seating) but normally I get it as take out. The cafe itself is super casual, it's the perfect place to pop into during lunch or after a walk. My food is always ready on time which is nice, and when I've eaten there I'm usually able to find a seat. The spinach tortellini with the pesto cream sauce is my absolute favorite- it's a HUGE portion and so delicious. It usually lasts me at least 2 meals. The bread they include is also great! I like to dip it in the sauce. The past time I got Dino's I accidentally ordered spinach ravioli instead of tortellini...that was my bad. HOWEVER I think I might have found my new favorite? The raviolis are huge and so fat. I'm talking like 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch thick. There is so much stuffing and the spinach ricotta mix tastes so fresh and delicious...it's a must try. I've also gotten the eggplant parm before, and the fettuccini Alfredo. Both were also delicious. I've never had any of the sandwiches, but if they are anything like their pastas then I'm sure they are great! The bang for your buck here is also great which is nice. Highly recommend! Dinos is awesome! And the staff is very kind too (Note that the pic is taken from a train, I like to treat myself to Dino's before catching the Amtrak)

Baked gnocchi is a must-have. The fresh basil on top of everything was a nice flavorful touch. Generous cheese, generous portions, and quick and personable service. The wife had the Gnochetti which had the important trick of knowing to mix the gnocchi and the short rib into one amazing concoction. Trust me on this one. We closed with the Nutella pizza which I've had at numerous other restaurants and Ciao's was hands down the best ever. Make sure to save room for this... seriously.
