This place is a gem! It's a bit hard to find if you haven't been there before, but it's a great place for lunch (didn't get a chance to try their breakfast). It was quite busy with locals who probably frequent the place daily, but it was great for us tourists as well. There was a wait for the food, but not overly log. Our drinks same up right away (fresh brewed iced tea - perfect for a very hot day). I had the chicken burrito. It was huge! Couldn't hold it with one hand (and I have pretty big hands). Lots of chicken, the usual lettuce and tomato, but also some nice surprises like black beans and fresh corn. I would order it again, but I would definitely be tempted to explore some of the other options on the menu next visit. The outside tables were a nice option for a hot summer day. read more

I had the Colombian breakfast two days in a row!!! Friendly people and delicious breakfast. It felt like a very authentic Colombian breakfast. They also had simple bacon egg and cheeses and whatnot but I definitely suggest a chefs special!! Coffee was good and the pricing was average. After three chances I am giving up on one of the only places to get food in the Navy Yard. Everytime I have ordered there, a major component of the foods description in missing from it. I have only ordered burritos from them, twice there was no avocado (which is in the menu description) and this last and final time they managed to get the avocado in it, but left out the black beans, in my BLACK BEAN BURRITO. So now I have a wrap with barely any rice, avocado, jalapeños, and tomato. I don't understand how after the counter clerk verified that no, I did not want meat, and just black beans, they completely left them out. I'm giving 2 stars because the ladies were very polite and courteous. The coffee was served way too hot to drink. My husband and I sat outside because there was no room for a stroller inside. We waited a while for our coffee to cool down and when I took a sip of my mocha latte, it didn't have any mocha in it. If we had just grabbed the coffee and left I would have been driving home with a cup milk and expresso. Hot coffee is great but I shouldn't have to wait 5-10 minutes for the coffee to cool down from boiling hot to just hot. read more

Friendly staff, great service, great sandwich - but found a hair in the soup which killed my girl's appetite. They claimed that the soups are bought premade from another company, which might be true, but they're the ones that served it so it falls on them. Style Cafe is owned by a super friendly Brazilian guy. The whole staff is quite friendly and efficient. In addition, the prices are super reasonable- for example, two eggs and toast for two fifty. And since the owner is brazilian, they offer some more interesting meats and cheeses from brazil. All i had was a bagel, smoothie and americano, but it was all quite good. 20 oz smoothies for under $6. I had an apple, banana and peanut butter one. Luckily I shared because I could not finish it. This was not far at all from the USS Constitution. It was the perfect spot to re-energize for the rest of our day. Lots of people came by and ordered things like chili, a falafel plate, cappuccino, carrot cake and grilled cheese. This is a great little shop if you live in the Charlestown navy yard. The workers are super friendly, and, more importantly, the food is pretty delicious. After nights of excessive drinking, I've ordered the #4 wrap (scrambled eggs with tomatoes, green peppers, and Brazilian cheese) and the #3 (creamy eggs with Brazilian sausage, tomatoes, hot sauce, and cheddar), and have thoroughly enjoyed both. They definitely do not skimp on the cheese. I will say the wraps are HUGE (think giant burrito instead of "wrap"), so be sure to go on an empty stomach. The only downside is that the service can be slow, but that's totally understandable because they make everything to order. Oh, and they have messed up my fiancé's order several times (bacon, egg, and cheese on a plan bagel, which doesn't seem too difficult). However, I will not deduct points for that since, well, they've never messed up what I ordered:) read more

The Navy Yard is short on restaurants and Dunkin Donuts or Tedeschi's is the only other option for coffee. Style Cafe has good coffee, friendly staff, and although there is a Brazilian tone they have a very diverse menu, everything from BLT's and Burritos to Cuban sandwiches and falafel. They make a pretty good breakfast sandwich too (try the sausage egg & cheese on English with chives, mayo, and hot sauce). I'll be back. read more

Very very good breakfast establishment. The bagel sandwiches are amazing, and you can also get full plates and specialty wraps. The chorizo wrap is incredible and will fill you up, just be careful, because it is fresh made and will be piping hot when they hand it to you. The fresh OJ is one of the best in the city and the frozen lemonade is perfect for a nice summer day walking along the water. They offer a call ahead service, which you should take advantage of, because it can get super busy in there, so sometimes you will be waiting a little if you order when you arrive. We took our three children here for lunch and found the food quite good. We would gladly go back again. We had a quesadilla with steak, chicken soup with rice, a tuna melt panini, and a turkey-pesto panini, and all were delicious and large servings and very fairly priced. We also shared a berry blast smoothie and had 2 specialty coffees and liked those as well. My husband and I ordered chicken quesadillas last night, and the food was so unbelievably salty that even though both of us were hungry, neither of us could finish our meal, my husband got sick when we arrived home, and my mouth still doesn't taste right after 12 hours. Torn...the food is definitely closer to 4 stars, but the long wait makes me want to give it a 2. I know they specify when you walk in that all of their orders take at least 10 minutes to prep, but even a Caesar salad with dressing in a side cup takes over 10 minutes at lunch...just not convenient for a short lunch break. Today is 2-16-17 and I had ordered a Fafafel wrap with no onions and feta cheese. I had called in my ordered and when I got back to my office to have my wrap and their were onions on my wrap and the feta cheese was missing. When I paid for the wrap they said Fafafel wrap with hummus and tahini on side which I had wanted and I said feta cheese on wrap and they said yes. I asked them to add but for a $8.00 sandwich it should include everything you ask for. I don't like onions so now I am having to pick them off my sandwich and the feta cheese is missing. Very disappointing. I can't submit a review on their website because it is not working. read more
