Everything was outstanding. I'm a cheese fanatic wand was thoroughly impressed with their cheese board. Their pickled vegetables were perfectly done and plentiful, and it was surely enough food to go around. Ambience is rather loud, it looks like a pub. I took my parents here and we still had a great time. Note: not a lot of parking. They do have outdoor space though! Service is very good. Food was incredible, the blue cheese pizza had a RIDICULOUS amount of blue cheese on it. My mom thought it was too strong, I reheated it at home with an extra slice of bread. I smelled my neighbor's takeout from this place and briefly considered committing a crime. Instead, I chose peace and went myself. Cozy little spot with a pizza oven and an open kitchen (elite combo). Plenty of seating. I went for a weekday dinner and was served instantly. Started with the oyster bombs ($17 for 3) because oyster + tuna is a power couple. Fresh, creamy, perfectly seasoned with mayo and chives...gone in 30 seconds. My server convinced me to get the spicy clam, and it was devoured so fast. It was gone before he filled my water! Packed with clam meat, drowning in tomato sauce, and it actually had heat --not that "we waved a chili at it" kind of spicy. My first stop on arrival into Boston! Cheers! A great spot with loads of seating indoors and out. It was outdoors for me to take advantage of the sunshine we haven't seen enough of lately. We were greeted promptly both at the door and once seated and a tasty IPA quickly arrived as I perused the menu. I can never resist beets and that appetizer did not disappoint! Curry labneh and topped with pistachios. Yum! I was tempted by the sandwiches but decided to stick with the original pizza plan. Our favorites pizza is the Killa-B! Consistently delicious every time! Just be patient once it arrives and allow it to cool off. The hot honey drizzle is a nice touch. Another must have is the flatbread salad! It is refreshing and a nice balance of flavors. We love adding chicken to it for more protein and it def contributes to the overall flavor! They have a tapas bar vibe going with a beautiful patio which would be great in the summer. The service was fast. We both got pizzas. The pizzas were fresh, hot and delicious. We dined at Brewer's Fork on a Friday around 5:30pm. There was no line, and we were immediately seated. They offer both bar/counter and traditional table seating. Service was good, and the waiter came by shortly afterwards to take our drink order. Their drink menu is huge and they have lots of beer and cider options on tap. For food, we shared mussels and a pizza. Although the mussels were on the smaller side, the curry sauce they came in was fantastic, consisting of coconut milk, curry spices, and lemongrass. The accompanying bread was also deliciously toasted and the perfect vessel to soak up all the remaining curry sauce. You can request half pizza flavors for no extra charge (the whole pizza will just be the original cost of the more expensive flavor). We ordered half spicy clam and half sausage. Both were fantastic, but the spicy clam was especially tasty and unique. It's nice having the option to try more flavors by ordering two different styles! read more

Brewers Fork has been on our list of places to try for a while. So glad we made it in last night. We started with the Provoleta which was mind blowing! Definitely recommend the Freebird and Hog Thai'd pizzas both absolute flavor explosions. We enjoyed great service with Heath, super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I went here with some friends to grab lunch and it was overall a good experience. The customers varied from families with kids, businessmen, to individuals just grabbing a drink. The food was good! I got the Killa B which is a pizza with hot honey on it. I was a little disappointed because the pizza wasn't hot and was dripping honey. We had an amazing meal at The Brewer's Fork. Took my daughter and her friend out for a girl's night dinner. Our server was so friendly and made it clear she took our food allergies very seriously. We had a delicious Greek salad, scrumptious beet salad, a cheese plate, pizza and burger. Everything was so tasty and fresh. Really high quality ingredients. And as I mentioned up top, very allergy conscientious. What a treat to find this fun place in this part of town. We went for dinner on a sunny Sunday evening at about 7. We had no problem getting a table on their lovely outdoor patio. The umbrellas provided shade. At the top of both the on top craft beer and wine by the glass lists were non alcoholic options. Hooray! First time I had seen Athletic beer on tap. I didn't try any of them, but everyone atbjy tavk said they were very good (and judging that there was only one slice to bring home I'd have to agree!) We did get a few apps (beets and squash) which were amazing. I do wish they had options for different diets. Very few if any vegan choices (To be fair, I already had dinner and didn't ask if mods were possible though I am sure they are) Drinks - a robust selection of beer and wine. It's rare that I ever feel compelled to post a review, but in this case, it is absolutely warranted. For the foodies: Get the charcuterie. JUST DO IT. It was hands down the best board I've ever had, and WOW what a value (it could easily satisfy four adults). However, the true highlight was ALEX: Not only an amazing server but an amazing human being. We stopped by with our 18-month-old on the tail end of the Freedom Trail, which was a very hot July day. Alex not only kept our fussy little man entertained, but went out of the way to get him berries from a neighboring location (seriously, who does that??!) which our kid happily devoured. Alex and team also helped mom and dad decide on wonderful beer and light wine pairings. There were so many other things on the menu that I wanted to try (everything looked so delicious, especially the pizza) and will make a point to the next time we're in Boston. My friends and I ordered a few pizzas to go. They were ready quickly! The special they had at the time, Shoulder to Wheel, was actually the least impressive. Every other pizza was great. Big shout out to the Street Corn, one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. It truly tasted like Mexican street corn on a pizza. It was a winner at the table, for sure. I am frequently in Charlestown dropping clients off at their rehab appointments, but rarely do I get into Charlestown proper. Yesterday I happened to stop at the Brewer's Fork and tried their pizza. I was torn between the meatball plate and the margherita pizza. My server suggested I could get half and half on my pizza. Problem solved. The wood fired pizza was excellent, but I couldn't decide which half I liked better. Both halves were wonderful. The ambience in the place is charming. Lots of tables in a big open, high ceiling-ed space, dominated on one side by a very long bar and in the back by a magnificent steel wood-fired oven. This and a griddle top is where all the magic happens. There is an extensive offering of international and domestic craft beers.The only negative is that parking is on-street. Then again, this is Charlestown, which is typical. I will definitely return for another pizza, at a time when I can enjoy a beer or two. read more

I just love this place, it's a family fan favorite. We are 6 adults but we often see families with very young kids here as well. We tend to go for Sunday lunch and have never had trouble with seating. They serve both brunch and lunch items on Sunday which works well for us as we are lunch people. Beer list is a craft beer lovers dream. Lots to try from New England. Pizzas are brick oven and varied, not your usual fare, even if it is sort of usual they build in a twist. Late lunch on a Sunday before walking the freedom trail. They have a special late afternoon menu that is somewhat limited. I did the half/half pizza choice. I chose the spicy clam and freebird. My daughter chose the Marge. Names are hilarious. Pizza is very thin crust which was great. Because of that, the pizzas were ready lightning fast. I had a slice of the spicy clam first and was impressed. Then I had the freebird and never looked back. Whoever tried out this combination uncovered a very tasty pizza. Had high hopes for this place after reading all the good reviews but I have to say the pizza fell short. My friend and I shared the flatbread salad and hog Thai'd pizza. The salad ingredients were fresh and the dressing was light which was good. I think the flatbread pieces in the salad are supposed to be a spin off croutons, but I felt like it were tasteless, hard, and stale. Now for the pizza. The pizza crust and the flavor of the unique toppings were good. Unfortunately, the crust was not thick enough to hold the ingredients. The center of the pizza was soggy and the ingredients would slide off so you had to eat the toppings with a fork while eating the crust with your hand. Ambiance and service were good. read more

We didn't even sample the items for which the Brewer's Fork is apparently most celebrated--its wood-fired pizza and its beer list--but this turned out to be one of the two or three best food experiences we've had since this Covid nightmare began almost a year and a half ago. It cleared the five-star hurdle with plenty of space to spare. It made for a perfect lunch break while checking out the nearby USS Constitution and its museums. We went with a half-dozen oysters (two each of three different kinds), the "flatbread salad," and the charcuterie plate. The oysters were briny and super-fresh tasting and the flatbread salad way better than it sounds (a bit of a take on a panzanella but loaded with higher ratio of well-apportioned fresh greens and veggies than you get with such salads). But the charcuterie plate was one of the best restaurant values we've encountered in a long time: The menu description gives you almost no idea ("mustard, pickles, et cetera"), but on this day it was a huge portion of high-quality duck rillettes, chicken liver pate, pork terrine, finocchiona, hot soppressata, and chorizo, plus a sizeable mound of various pickled veggies and plenty of delicious toasted bread. An absolute steal for $21; we could barely finish it. But damn, we had to; it was too good to leave anything behind. Very nice and comfortable modern-homey decor, and efficient, warm, relaxed service. We were traveling with my developmentally-disabled brother-in-law, and his population often isn't very adventurous about food. He's no exception, although he's braver than plenty of his associates. But only the wagyu burger remotely called out to him here. (He loves pizza, but we'd just had pizza the evening before.) He likes his burgers well-done, but the wife talked him down to medium-well on principle, given the wagyu. The big burger comes with wood-roasted onions, bacon jam, and American cheese. The wife and I each tried a bite and thought it superb, even if tragically overcooked. But the BIL thought it wasn't up to the measure of Five Guys, so he was a bit disappointed. And no fries; only home fries here. Compared to the $20-plus burgers you see in some higher-end restaurants, this was actually very good value at $18. Afterwards, the brother-in-law announced about our trip to the Brewer's Fork, "I was a good sport." This cracked us up, of course, given the excellence of this place, and it's a catch-phrase we'll no doubt employ in the future when we find the right circumstances. read more

I do not trust them in the Midwest but they are great here. Mignonette was exceptional. Loving the selection of drafts. My forager pizza is excellent. I am at a crossroads between eating it all or taking it to the rehab place for dinner. Leaning towards eating it now. Also ... MUSIC!
