I've seen this place talked about on social media for so long, so it's been on my list to try. Drinks- very limited beer menu. Bartender took some artistic liberties with our drinks which were a miss. For example, ordered a vesper and they didn't have lillet so subbed with elderflower liqueur rather than just making a regular gin martini, which is what I had requested if they didn't have lillet. Ordered the kale and apple salad- very missable and literally no dressing on it. Pizza- pizza was super small and not filling at all. We split a pepperoni pizza between two people and definitely should have gotten a second pizza. Pizza was nothing special. Overall, sadly didn't live up to the hype!

Cute restaurant. They have great gluten free option but no gluten free pizza. The food was good, especially for being gluten free. I will say the burrata was like a plop of cheese in a bowl of orange juice and olive oil.

For a place that really only has pizza way to inconsistent ordered here 3 times the first one was good pizza. However the past 2 were mushy and floppy so undercooked the cheese is in clumps.

The restaurant was super busy but the servers at the front were super sweet and informative about wait times! Got seating at the bar; the server behind the bar wasn't very attentive and didn't check in often. Ambiance was nothing special but was a clean space. The drinks were sweet and had lots of flavor--9/10 for both! Point docked for them not being that out of the box and for weak alcohol taste. The food was underwhelming, but it's difficult to make pizza or meatballs stand out. 6/10 for the pizza (good texture, lacked flavor and complexity), 5/10 for the meatballs (texture was mid, cheese hardened quickly, sauce tasted close to straight tomato paste imo and had no complexity).

I visited Si Cara last weekend with my boyfriend for date night and was so excited because it has a lot of hype on social media!! We started with some drinks, which were good but nothing outstanding. We shared the white bean dip, the prosciutto, the mushroom and guanciale pizza, and the apple salad. I will say I was a bit underwhelmed and felt that everything lacked a bit of flavor. The prosciutto was probably my favorite bite of the evening, and the flatbread that came with it was delicious! The crust on the pizza was the best part as everything else weighed the pie down significantly and it was pretty soggy. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but I was expecting to be blown away based on what I had seen online. Very cute spot in a great neighborhood with attentive service, but the food wasn't anything special in my opinion.

Yeah, casual, fast, not too filling pizza that's just right. More Italian style than New York. You and your buddies will be excited about the roasted garlic olive oil and in house hot honey. Like I said, not super fancy, but again the staff attentive and food was great

Really solid pizza with creative toppings and a nice chewy crust. Ordered for pickup and everything was really at the estimated time. The shrimp scampi pizza was definitely our favorite - it had a great garlic flavor and was balanced with the lemon juice on top! Prices are a bit high and I wish there were more toppings on the pizza but overall I look forward to returning and trying more of the menu!

Great pizza, great vibes, would highly recommend. Appetizers were absolutely amazing- we got the mozzarella sticks, which were probably the best mozz sticks I've ever had, the garlic bread (scrumptious), clams, and meatballs. If you can, get all of them because I truly cannot decide which one was my favorite. For pizzas, we got the hot honey chicken, pepperoni, and mushrooms pizza. Hot honey chicken was definitely my favorite! Service was also amazing, our server very attentive and gave great recommendations and have a great sense of humor. Would definitely go back!

As soon as you walk in, the restaurant has a nice feel to it and it was busy on a Tuesday evening, which got me excited. The interior looks nice for a first date night spot or something, but that's really all there is to this place. In terms of food, it was just mediocre at best. First off, it was just way too hot in there for the amount of people seated. Our server was nice and friendly but after ordering our food and drinks, it took them about 15 minutes to come back to us to tell us that they forgot what our order was! The Sausage & Mushroom pizza was more mushroom than anything and the bread was not that great, also burnt. The snap pea salad was.... I don't even know how to describe it but I wouldn't get it again. Also, I don't know how this is considered a wine bar when you order a bottle and there are no wine glasses.... they give you a smaller water glass to drink your wine. This is a big no-no!!! To be quite frank, I probably won't be back. You're only paying high prices for ambiance and their rent.

I rarely finish entire pizzas but here I for sure took down the entire pie shamelessly (okay fine, there was a bit of shame involved). This pizza has the fluffiest, most flavorful crust I have ever had with a perfect woodfired char. Conotto is now my new favorite style of crust. The pepperoni ($23) was divine. The Tahini ($21) was interesting... I'll say it needed a bit more oomph (I took it home and added hot honey) but was still good. I would say in between the two I'd pick the red sauce though. They even give you a little pot of garlic olive oil to dip the crust in. We ordered the white bean dip ($8) for extra dipping pleasure. Staff were nice, and the interior is sophisticated. The wall art is really minimalist, quirky, and cool.

food yummy, particularly garlic bread. service took 15-ish minutes after placing order. looks like something i would build in toca boca, very modern.

    Squash blossom
    Rebecca D.

My family and I came here on a Sunday for lunch and tried two new-to-us pizzas, the squash blossom and the spanakopita. Both were very good! I especially loved the stracciatella cheese on the squash blossom - so rich and creamy. The squash blossom pizza was a little salty for my taste (and I am a salt lover) and it took quite a while for the pizzas to come out, but other than that, no complaints!

The pizza was good but the price was not worth it. The tiramisu was fantastic though!

There were very few redeeming aspects to the meal, and we left feeling both disrespected and unsatisfied as customers. The issues started right away. We ordered drinks--including a pear mocktail--but were brought the wrong ones, and then they attempted to charge us for those incorrect drinks. In hindsight, the cocktail mix-up should have been a warning of what was to come. The pear mocktail itself was also quite bad. The service felt chaotic throughout the night. We asked multiple times for additional servings of steak and fries, but were largely ignored. Meanwhile, nearby large tables were repeatedly served, cleared out entire trays, and still received more attention from staff. For an all-you-can-eat steak frites offering, we each received only one serving despite several requests. As for the food itself, it did not make up for the service. The steak was just okay--some pieces were chewy and overly fatty, though acceptable if refills had actually been provided. The fries, however, were terrible. Our first serving was so hard it was nearly inedible, and the only refill we received was just as bad. I also ordered the spinach risotto, which was slightly better than the steak, but it was so salty I couldn't finish it. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. Our waitress was knowledgeable and gave good food and wine recommendations from the menu. Our party really enjoyed the octopus as it was a tender bite with freshness coming from the peas/mint/cilantro. We also enjoyed the juicy meatballs with tomato sauce and again a hint of freshness and nuttiness coming from the pine nut pesto. We were not crazy about the striped bass crudo. It just seemed to fall flat flavor wise for me maybe not enough salt or acid to really counter balance the other fresh clean flavors in the dish. That being said it was not bad just underwhelming. The pizzas were great value price wise and the flavor combinations were unique but also worked well with one another. I liked how they didn't shy away from using spicy peppers on the Nduja pizza. The Fennel Sausage pizza had that fattiness from the sausage mixed with acidity from the cherry peppers and some creaminess/extra layer of flavor with the green garlic cream sauce. I somewhat wish the pizza bottom was baked slightly longer for a less floppy center but that's just personal preference. They clearly put a lot of effort into this pizza recipe. The only critique we would have is the service seemed a bit rushed. We would have enjoyed a bit more time between appetizers and the mains. Even the check came pretty shortly after we finished which would be understandable on a busy weekend night but this was a Tuesday evening and there seemed to be plenty of empty tables around us.
