A very cute spot for delicious food! Definitely recommend getting a reservation as it gets packed, since there is very limited seating inside and outside. I would 100% recommend to get the rigatoni pasta--the sauce just melts in your mouth with an explosion of flavors in your mouth! The pizzas were very crispy and delicious as well! I want to try their hot honey pizza next time for sure! Their servers are very accommodating and want to make sure that everyone has a good time! read more

Very cool TINY upscale pizza place in the Beacon Hill area of Boston. One of the only pizza places in the neighborhood as its short on restaurants but such a lovely area. They don't offer a ton which is okay but it's weird cause they act like they're some type of five star Michelin restaurant. They ask if you made a reservation then you have to check in on Resy anyways. Hated that. Let's not pretend. You're a pizza joint. Enough said. We got seated right next to the door as a twosome and there was a cold breeze blowing in from the open front door. Thank god I wore a hoodie. We didn't get service for a good 15- 20 minutes, not even water, even though they had like 6 servers running about for five tables in this tiny space. Once we did the server was very gracious and kind so that made it a little better. Pizzas were trying to be "upper crust" (forgive the pun) but they weren't anything great. Split one pie which was probably 12" or so and built our own cause we just wanted a good old pizza but they had to offer fancy ones instead. The pizza itself was ok. Thin, wood fired, overly crusty and the toppings just kind of slid right off with a ton of flop. We didn't even finish it. Not great. They put a lot into this place and they se to share space with a restaurant next door as people are coming and hooking downstairs and through the attached side area carrying supplies. The marketing is cute with their bulldog logo but it doesn't make up for their lack of a decent pizza. Really wanted this place to be better than it is cause it's got a good feel and a great spot but they're trying too hard and aiming too high. Just be a good pizza joint and that would be enough. read more

We stopped by here for dinner on our trip to Boston and had a solid first meal. We were seated outside and service was quick. We got: -Willie's meatballs (good, but can skip) -karage chicken (very good) -hot honey pizza (perfect pizza) -capanelle pasta (must get so delicious) -tagliatelle pasta (solid, but not the fav) -duck tigatoni pasta (way too salty for us) -spritz cocktail (a more citrus version of an Aperol spritz, very refreshing!) Overall, food was great. Although there was some salty bites, the pastas texture was perfect and the pizza was delicious. Would come back! read more

Tremendous service at this establishment even though very very crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Nice café dining but limited seating inside. Very nice menu with great pizza and pasta dishes. Nice beer and wine selections as well as interesting cocktails. great place to people watch and take in the Boston vibe. Popular with tourist, but that's not a bad thing. read more

We usually hang out in the Back Bay area when we visit our daughter at school in Boston. I have wanted to try Willie's for a while, so this time we decided to hang out in Beacon Hill. I have to admit getting a reservation was challenging, especially on a Thursday night for 7 people - 3 adults and 4 young ladies, including our daughter. It sells out FAST! Willie's is a small space. However, it is well laid out, and although our table was a little small for 7, we made do. It would be perfect for 6. They also have an outside area on Charles if you are so inclined. The food smelled fantastic, and we could not wait to order. We ordered some cocktails and wine, and our Manhattans were excellent. We started with cabbage-based Caesars that were excellent. The dressing was a hit with me. We also tried the outstanding meatballs. The sauce was superb. Then came the stars of the show - the pizza. We ordered a Calabrian hot honey pizza with Jamón Serrano, a pepperoni a la Vodka, and a P.C.T. The pizzas were outstanding!! When we were wrapping up, a well-dressed man came over to help with water. I asked if he was the owner, and he was. He spent 15 minutes talking to all of us about his place and other places he jointly owns in Boston. He was a true restaurateur and a gentleman. My wife and I ended up leaving there and visiting a cocktail bar that he also owns. I will say more about that in another review. Whatever you do, go to this place is all I can say. read more

Stumbled upon Willie's when Cheer's had a 45 minute wait. Smelt the food from the road and instantly knew we found a place for lunch. Got sat right away on their outside dining area. Our server Lauren was nice and explained the menu well. Our order got a little messed up when it came out, but it still turned out good! We had the hot honey pepperoni, Willie's cheese with the addition of pepperoni and sausage, and a grinder. Also ordered 2 margaritas. Drinks were strong and delicious. Hot honey pizza was our favorite. If you're in the Beacon Hill area, this place is a hit! read more

After finishing eating here, I felt like I just got scam. The portion is small and the price is high. They are Italy dishes with Korean infusion. The food tastes okay. Nothing out of extraordinary. Even the dish placement is average nothing fine dine. But this place charge fine dining price for their dishes. I don't think this place worth the hype read more

What a welcome addition to Beacon Hill that serves Italian food with a mix of Asian and Spanish flair. We tried a few dishes and we were surprised at their unique take on some of the traditional dishes. Here's what we got: Spaghetti Carbonara ($24) Must get! The combination of all the ingredients delivered in terms of complexity and flavor. In the initial bite, we tasted the umami of the bottarga and the parmesan dashima that perfectly coated the spaghetti. Then, after a few chews, the yuzu kosho popped in with a bright citrus note and a slight kick that cut through the richness of the spaghetti. Caesar ($16) This was unlike any caesar salad we've ever had. There wasn't as much napa cabbage, but a lot of thinly sliced celery that was crispy and vibrant. The anchovy migas on top added a hint of savory note. Overall, it was a light and refreshing salad. 'Nduja ($22 + $2 for Hot Tomato Honey) Personally wasn't our favorite. The pizza was on the smaller side, maybe 10-12 inches. It was crispy at the bottom, but the topping combination didn't go well together. The creamy pork sausage didn't add too much flavor or texture and the addition of the celery root was odd. Overall, we really enjoyed the pasta and the salad. We'd probably skip on the pizza next time. The service was fast and friendly. It is a small restaurant though so getting a reservation is a must! read more

Tried this spot after eating dinner next door at their sister restaurant and was not too impressed. We ordered the Calabrian karaage and 'Nduja pizza. The karaage was delicious but I wasn't feeling the pizza, there were dollops of gochujang that were off putting. Just seems like this place needs a bit more of a clearer direction. Flavors didn't mesh well and even the cocktails were interesting, and not in a good way. Service was great though and the ambiance was cute. We sat at a high top and could see into the kitchen. The place was small but they had a large patio. read more

We loved this trendy little place. Went for lunch and felt lucky to get the last table. Split the burrata with Bucho michim, so delicious and a whole new way to love burrata. Then we split the margarita pizza royal with jamon iberico. Service was friendly but serious. Loved it all. Highly recommend! read more

New pizza and pasta place in Beacon Hill (a neighborhood with surprisingly few good restaurants) that I really enjoyed! I'm a sucker for vodka sauce and theirs was creamy and rich with bright bursts of flavor from sun dried tomatoes. The pasta was also well done. Similarly, the wood-fired pizza was very tasty (and fun to get to watch them make it with the open kitchen layout!) with crisp, thin crust and a good size for one person or to share for the table. Only caveat is that seating is a little snug - especially at the bar - but would definitely recommend! read more

I don't mean to be harsh, but tbh I would discourage ppl from coming here. For the price, I can't say anything was worth it in terms of flavor or portion size, and there's considerably better Italian food all around boston. I appreciate this spot's attempt to incorporate an asian flare into their dishes, but it really just misses the mark. The flavors are just average and even lackluster. To give them credit, I felt the service was very fast and amiable, and I enjoyed the texture of the noodles. The space itself was clean and modern, but otherwise it honestly felt cramped and the meal itself (general flavors) was not enjoyable or impressive. Everything fell flat. Perhaps they'll get the hang of things once they've been open a bit longer, but until then I would recommend you look elsewhere. read more

This place was great!! I loved the Caesar salad it was unique and the bread crumbs were delicious. The arancini was good but I can skip that next time. My favorite pizza was definitely the Calabrian hot honey and I would 10/10 recommend. Also the service was so fast it was amazing!! read more

Great service, small cozy place in Beacon so well located as well. The music was great and added to the vibe. The costumer service is very good and attentive since there are few tables but I noticed when one would get up immeasurably another sat so it was highly booked. I tried the vodka pasta, the amatriciana, and carbonara and all were amazing. The carbonara is different from a traditional one but it's so worth to try. So good tasted like good well cooked food. I'm definitely going again. The pizzas were also very good but unmatched to the pasta. read more

My partner and I dropped in on a busy Saturday afternoon recently to dine on the patio with our small dog. The hostess, Jen, is amazing... so sweet and charismatic. She let us know our wait time, which wasn't very long. We ordered a couple cocktails; Willie's G+T & the Paloma-ish. They arrived so quickly and were delicious. We also ordered the meatballs and the Calabrian Hot Honey pizza. Portions were on the smaller side so we also ordered the Pepperoni a la vodka pizza & the karaage to go. Yes, smaller portions, but wow... we loved every bite! We received exceptional service from Aiden and were also greeted by one of the owners, Mr. Bina. I mean, even the other diners around us were so pleasant... it's tight quarters so it's easy to make friends, especially with a well behaved dog. :) We have already visited sister restaurants Somaek and Sushi at Temple Records. Our next stop will be Zurito. We will be back! Their concept of food & hospitality is absolutely exceptional... many, many thanks! read more

Great little spot that's definitely worth a visit--I'd recommend making a reservation! They have both cozy indoor seating and a great outdoor patio. The menu puts a creative twist on classic Italian favorites, with handmade pastas and incredibly fresh pizzas. The standout for me was the tomato hot honey--it added the perfect sweet and spicy kick and was absolutely delicious. Don't skip the Ceasar salad, it was crunchy and tangy. The service was friendly, the location is great, and everything we tried felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. read more

Delicious delicious yum!! The best Korean Italian fusion food I've ever had and the sauces and the flavors are so delicious and the texture of the pasta was perfect...quality! The meatballs were amazing and the rigatoni was delicious and the carbonara was divine. The service with ultra friendly, and the place clean and the restaurant is seven weeks old and so far so good. I definitely wanna come back here to try the other dishes and the pizza as well. read more

Phenomenal new neighborhood spot on Charles St! I love the unique taste on Italian! We went for the Carbonara and the Funghi pizza along with a G&T and a Wall Banger to drink. We were sooo content with the whole meal, but my favorite was the Carbonara, particularly for the spicy kick. I also have to say, the service here did not miss. From hostess to server to owner, everyone was extremely attentive. Not surprised considering the excellent service experienced at Zurito, the sister restaurant nextdoor. Hopefully I get a chance to revisit because there was so much more on the menu I'd loved to try. read more

Our server was really knowledgeable about the menu and which items were vegetarian and safe for my allergies. The pizza sauce was a bit too garlicky for me, but my husband loved it. He wasn't crazy about the flavor in the meatballs though. The Campanelle A La Vodka with a sun-dried tomato cream sauce on the other hand was one of the best pastas I've ever eaten! It was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I took my mom the following week just to try it. read more

Guys...I have no affiliation w this group, however every little thing they do is magic-magic!!!! Now here comes Willies, with an iconic frenchie on a motobike logo flag waving, no less. But more importantly (I guess) the food and service so good!! Casual, cool, pizza great but for me I love the sun dried tom cream sauce pasta and I dont even like sun dried tomatoes...thats how delicious it is!! The caesar isnt the usual Caesar, but again so good...I love it all - staff always cheery and nice, a tribute to this group (again zero affiliation outside being a fan!). Love Willies, fun...love it, in my rotation read more

I'm not sure if it's because we picked up our food to go, but i was a bit disappointed. I got the vodka pasta and it was just okay, and the caesar salad, which was supposed to be unique/different (which it was texture wise) but had absolutely no flavor. My boyfriend got the tagliatelle and enjoyed it. We'll have to try dining in, since those reviews look great. read more

Front of house staff was incredibly dismissive for walk ins and selected a 4 hour and 45 minute wait time when we gave our number for the wait list. I've worked in the food service industry for many years and I understand tables are held for reservations but the attitude and demeanor of the hostesses was very much "we are better than you," which is not the vibe I imagine Willie's is going for. Not sure if I'd try to get in again. read more

Willies - Pizza Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Our group of 4 ate at Willies after we read the Boston Globe review. https://www.bostonglobe.com/2026/04/09/lifestyle/willies-beacon-hill-pizza-restaurant/?s_campaign=breakingnews:newsletter. We were seated on time. The greeter and waitstaff were pleasant. We ate on stools at an elevated table. It is a small restaurant but tables were appropriately spaced. The food was good but not the "great" that we expected. Contrary to the Globe review, we did not find that the pizza was "flawless". The chicken consisted of fried, light, tasty pieces; the 8-10 pieces were small - bite size. We had two pasta dishes. The portions are small, actually all of the portions were what I would characterize as "small plates" or a "tasting menu"; the pizza was also small. But we expected entree size portions. The pizza crust was stiff but not crisp. They do not serve a house salad, no bread with pasta, no iced tea, no decaf hot tea or coffee after the meal, and no dessert menu. If you want a filling full meal, or a birthday meal with a cake dessert, this is not the place to go. This felt more like a place you go if you want some small bites along with a glass of wine or beer, or a cocktail. Or if you were on a date and expected to spend more time talking than eating. I graded them 4 stars because I realize that they did a good job of doing what they probably intended, but not higher because I expected more, including a full filling meal. I was disappointed. My expectations were maybe too high after reading the review, but I do not expect to return. read more

All the food was very very salty. The suppli was just hard fried breadcrumbs on the outside. No flavor. Would definitely not go there again.
