Such a great experience at Coppa Enoteca! This was such a great way to end our trip to Boston. We arrived at 8:15 which is the perfect time for a late dinner as their kitchen closes at 9 on Sundays. We started with the Zucchino with tomato, zucchini, burrata, squash blossoms, chili, garlic breadcrumbs, and oregano. We needed up with Zeppole which is ricotta donuts, strawberries, Sorrento lemon curd, vanilla, and poppy seeds. Everything was DELICIOUS. I could not recommend this restaurant more. Thank you Madison, Juan, and Alejandria for the recommendations, good conversation and making our last restaurant even better than we could have imagined.

The restaurant was quite small with some outdoor seating and warm, low light. We were able to get a seat for 2 around 8:30pm. Our server rarely came by even though they (seemingly) had less patrons as closing time approached. However, a different staff member was able to help me surprise my partner with a birthday candle on one of the desserts (tiramisu). I wish the tiramisu had been a classic rather than chocolate/nutella focused, as it was very heavy. The food was great, although the pizza did not stand out. Half of the crust was burnt and the flavors were just ok. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the other dishes.

Good but expensive for small portions. I was expecting a traditional Italian restaurant but was pleasantly surprised with it being Italian tapas style. I would highly recommend making a reservation as the interior is small with limited number of tables. Unfortunately, the waitress wasn't very attentive but it did appear she was managing multiple tables. My friend and I split the Margherita pizza and each ordered a pasta dish. We both agreed the margerita pizza was the best dish! My bolognese was good but had too much meat. I have a peculiar personal preference for more pasta to meat ratio lol. The pasta was fresh! I almost forgot, they serve complimentary bread at the beginning and if you know me I love carbs so I was happy.

I was able to score some last minute reservations here. The host was nice and server was attentive. The pasta was good the dishes were a little pricey and I didn't necessarily think it was worth it. I ordered cocktails as well, and they were good but not worth the price. The restaurant itself was very small and intimate. This place is nice if you're looking for something lowkey and in the area. Overall, it was good however if you're looking for a 5 star pasta/Italian restaurant I'd recommend Capo Restaurant &Super club!

Cute small spot with delicious food, not everything was home run but most of it was tasty. Good service and a cool neighborhood.

Good! Zeppole: Ricotta donuts, raspberries, yogurt, vanilla milk crumble.

Attentive service, romantic ambiance, and dinner reservations weren't too hard to get on a weeknight. Best dishes of the night: - Spaghetti Carbonara (Pancetta, Maine uni, egg yolk, black pepper, parmesan) - Beef Heart Pastrami - Coppa di Testa (Crispy braised pigshead croqueta, apricot mostarda, golden beets, grain mustard, cress) Good but not the faves: - Zeppole (Ricotta donuts, raspberries, yogurt, vanilla milk crumble) - Cavatelli (Chicken sausage, tomato broccoli sugo, fennel pollen, parmesan) They also make a delicious negroni and their lavender soda is very refreshing. Would absolutely come back to Coppa for more beef heart pastrami and carbonara!! One of the best meals of my visit to Boston.

Coppa is always an amazing time but more importantly that they spend time once a month to completely provide the Boston community with a GF menu. I'm not GF but friends of mine are and it's such a gem of a menu to have this option. The staff is always accommodating with service and questions with the food they have on those nights. GF crust on the pizza this time was a bit less desiring, not sure if they changed it but still tasty toppings!! Even without GF nights, this small wine bar is a find you need to be in for pizza or a pasta dish. Perfectly portioned. Quiet earlier in the evening, but the ambience picks up and elevates the neighborhood with warm nights to sit outside or at the bar.

I really liked this place. Cute and cozy inside and we sat very quickly with a reservation. We got the arancini, tagliatelle and the carbonara, as well at the salsiccia pizza and finished with the tirimisu. Arancini were crispy and cheesy, sauce was great but the entire thing wasn't mind blowing, just solid. The tagliatelle was probably the most "basic" dish of the night with well done pork ragu, probably would please anyone but again not mind blowing. The carbonara with uni in my opinion was stand out and very creamy and delicious. Uni adds that extra bit to take it to the next level. The salsiccia pizza surprised me because Im not a thin wood fire crust lover but this one was chewy and crispy but not burnt. The onions and shishito peppers were a nice touch and we did ask for honey to drizzle to take it one extra step and it was great. Perfect cheese to sauce ratio and really was the one dish I would come back for. The tiramisu was so unique because it has a layer of thick nutella that took it from a basic classic to a unique take and everyone at our table liked it. I am not a huge tiramisu fan but I did like it, just personally wouldn't have been my first choice. I think overall prices were reasonable with maybe the arancini and tagliatelle being a bit steep for what they were though i'd just skip those completely and something else if you want something more unique. My biggest qualm was the service being s bit chaotic, the server left mid- conversation at one point and just seemed very rushed. They even cleaned our table and asked us if we wanted dessert before we even got our mains which I know was an honest mistake but added to the feeling of being rushed overall. Won't claim this to be some of the best Italian in the city, but good option for some friends and family nights where you need a little something for everyone.

Very kind waiter, but not the fastest service. Also sat by the door and was freezing which just made it a bit uncomfy night. Otherwise, great vibes inside. A very cute, little Italian shop in the south end! The food was solid, however not a lot of chicken sausage in the cavatelli for $28 is my complaint.

Tucked away in the South End, Coppa is the kind of place that makes you want to go for every event. The service? Warm, attentive, and effortlessly kind. The food? Amazing. Every dish, from the perfectly charred pizzas to the rich, house-made pastas, felt like a work of art. Bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and an unmistakable passion in every bite. In a city full of great restaurants, Coppa is something special.

I don't think I could say enough great things. First off, Zeph at the bar was phenomenal. Quick and attentive without being overbearing. She was a wizard, making drinks, taking orders, cleaning, helping everyone. I was truly amazed. Into the food, the Celery Caesar may be the best salad I've ever had. Whosever idea it was to make a salad using celery instead of lettuce was a genius. Every bit was crunchy and flavorful. The dressing was great. The portion was enormous, but I had none leftover because it was so good. The pasta had lamb and was the best pasta I've had in a long time. So fresh and simple. I wish I had room for more because so many of their dishes sounded amazing. The restaurant is small (but cute), and even on Wednesday night was packed so I recommend a reservation just to ensure you get a spot. It's well worth the effort.

My wife and I went there for the first time recently. We made a reservation and the place was packed, both on the outside patio and the quaint inside. Very romantic feel that feels very natural and European. We shared the ostrich oysters, the insalata salad, tagliatelle pasta and the zeppole donuts for dessert. We thought every bite was delicious. We knew this place would become a regular date spot for us after this visit!

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

The bread had large air pockets, visibly soft, with a rich aroma of salt and milk; the olive oil was smooth and mellow, with a full-bodied fragrance, and the aftertaste even included a subtle, restrained hint of tea. Even knowing it's a calorie bomb, I couldn't resist dipping it in more. Baccala Mantecato: Classic Venetian flavor. The salted cod was tender and delicate, almost like a light foam, somewhere between raw silk and mousse; the dark bread was simple yet not coarse, perfectly balancing the saltiness of the cod. The most surprising thing was the refreshing aroma of celery leaves that emerged in the aftertaste, lingering and persistent. Lumache: When looking at the menu, seeing "chili butter, Jonah crab, breadcrumb," I never expected such a distinct citric acidity. The subtle acidity was gently enveloped in the fatty aroma of chili butter, perfectly complementing the umami and sweetness of the crab meat with just the right amount of spiciness. The lumache were firm and chewy, the sauce rich and smooth, and the breadcrumbs light and crisp, creating a rich and distinct texture. The portion was generous; even after microwaved the next day, the sauce had naturally broken down and the lemon's tartness had dissipated, but the noodles mixed with chili oil still had a unique flavor. Tiramisu: Highly renowned, and the staff were quite confident. The surface was covered with a thick layer of crispy cocoa nibs, the cake itself is incredibly soft and moist, and digging inside reveals an "underground river" of coffee liquid, while its bitterness was perfectly balanced by the sweet Marsala. The overall flavor was sweet and mellow, less bitter than typical tiramisu, with more layers of complexity. Actually, I was hoping for a slightly bitter version. Even on a weekday, it was packed with customers; by 5:10 PM, only one bar seat was left. Reservations are highly recommended. However, the bar was in a good location, with the bartenders being the easiest servers to find. It was a pleasant conversation with them.

The service here was attentive with the waiters offering more bread for the mussels. Most dishes are a little spicy, so if you don't like spice, make sure to note that with the waiter. The miso gelato is one of the most delicious savory/sweet desserts, and has lots of nice crunchy accents of the sesame crumble. Cocktails are fabulous, very smooth, as well as the mocktails. Cons: The crostini was nothing really special, and one of them came without the oyster butter. The meatballs, which were tasty but had a slightly hard texture on the outside. The prawn risotto was pretty one-note in flavor, and the prawn heads tasted overcooked and slightly off. The radiatore was spicy and nicely plated. The Cremoso al Cioccolato had a strange flavor profile that didn't quite fit, and had such a large salted chocolate-truffle section that we did not finish it (which is saying something)! Overall, if you are looking for a solid dinner in Boston that will guarantee be a nice experience because of the atmosphere, this is a good place.
