Rated #6 BEST pizza restaurant in the world 2026.

Wow.... Wow....Wow.... The pizza is seriously the BEST IVE EVER HAD. I can see why they won for TOP pizza multi years in national and international competitions. The setting is classy/upscale but comfortable and welcoming. Busy atmosphere buzzing with food enthusiasts. Highly recommend this place and truly a FIVE

On a super hot Boston day we happened upon a man walking out of this restaurant with a GIANT pizza down the street. Upon seeing that we headed in! It was the kind of pizza with an amazing crust, fresh toppings and it said chewy, cheesey, and saucey goodness. The air conditioning was wonderful since it was 99 outside and our water glasses were never empty. We ordered a meat and cheese platter for an appetizer that was perfect. Then enjoyed the spaghetti and meatball, a special pizza (with a fresh truffle sliced at the table) and the shrimp limoncello. The food was great wonderful flavors and really well done. I loved the shrimp limoncello it was just delightful on a hot day!

The mozzarella en carroza was delish and we had the ragu pizza. Toppings delish a bit too much sauce but yummy and my prosecco only added to it. It was a quick bite to share after a trolley ride and we enjoyed it.

Everything we had was delicious! They start you off with bread and pesto which was incredible. My wife had the mushroom risotto which she loved and I had a pizza. Pizza was one of the best I've had. Nothing to complain about here. Keep up the great work! Can't wait to come back!

Place was packed when I went. I had a reservation and still had to wait like 15 min to get in and had to sit in the bar. The bar girl was really nice. Food came out insanely fast, so that's a plus. It felt fresh and tasty, but for the guanciale I would have preferred it to be more thin/chopped (maybe I'm the one wrong). My only complaint is that everything felt rushed but other than that no complaints.

Another stop in Boston right after hitting up a World Cup game! We had a reservation and were blessed enough to be seated quickly. The room is quite small and has a cozy vibe to it. I opted to get one of their pizzas. Adding the cheese in the middle was a delicious touch and their crust was made to perfection! No notes! My fiancée's pasta was also very solid. It wasn't our favorite spot, but it was a nice send off from Boston!

We went on a very busy Monday, the place was absolutely packed around 1pm so we ate at the bar. Service was hit or miss. Pesto with bread was a nice touch. They do not serve coffee, only espresso. We both ordered pasta and thought they were just OK but nothing special and the lunchtime pricing was more like dinner pricing. In retrospect this place is really known for pizza and if we went back, we would definitely try that instead.

Fantastic menu and vibe all around. For a date night sit at the bar. Espresso Martini's were top notch in a town with many great options. Servers were attentive and helpful. A must visit.

This was one of my favorite lunch stops during my trip to Boston. The bar was welcoming and warm, thanks to the brick pizza oven. It was neat being able to watch the pizzas being prepped & cooked and the chickens spinning on the rotisserie behind the bar. The server behind the bar was very friendly, and of course, the pizza was amazing! I think I spent at least 2 hours here savoring every bite while trying different Italian wines. I will definitely make a point to come back next time I'm in Boston!

Busy Italian kitchen eatery, definitely make a reservation! Excellent service, wide variety of pizza, pasta and rotisserie dishes. I highly recommend the lobster ravioli, and the new ragu napolitana wood fire pizza (beef and veal). The Caesar salad is a nice simple pairing. It can be a loud atmosphere, so be prepared for that.

While in the North End for dinner, we actually were planning on checking out another restaurant, but were turned away because they closed their kitchen an hour early. We found Quattro down the street and they happily seated us even though they were closing in an hour. I loved the dark ambiance of Quattro with it's open windows and spooky vibes. We ordered the Soppressata Pizza, Meatball Madness and Cacio e Pepe to share. They even gave us complimentary warm bread with pesto on the side. We really enjoyed everything, but I wasn't too impressed with the Cacio e Pepe - I was hoping for a more pepper flavor. The pizza was good, we really liked the crust and we also really liked the flavor of the meatballs. Quattro offers lots of seating inside and I believe they even had a bar area. Our server was super nice, personable and gave us great tips and recommendations on places we should visit while in town! We left full and satisfied! Check them out!

    Pizza. Bella italia.

Is this the best pizza I've ever had? Very situational question. But... I think it is one of the best pizzas I've had in a very long time. Bella Italia. Great dirty martini too.

Came here during weekend lunch. Easy to make reservation for two. Service is ok. Food was good. Eggplant Rollatini - very good. Love the flavor Lobster Ravioli - it doesn't look appetizing and the ravioli looks flat. But it has rich lobster flavor. The ravioli is stuffed with lobster meat. And the sauce is cooked with lobster. It's one of the best tasting lobster ravioli I tried. Figs, Arugula & Goat Cheese pizza - I like it. It's not common to see figs on pizza but the combination is good. The dough is pretty well made too.

As tables became available, they would call people inside. I ended up at a small table by the bar area. I ordered a small chicken and prosciutto pizza. It was excellent and perfectly cooked as promised. The flavor combination was great: prosciutto, chicken, spinach, ricotta, roasted peppers, sauce, and mozzarella. So big I couldn't finish it. We ordered a pizza by phone during the St. Anthony Feast, and the woman who took our order was curt and rude from the start -- I chalked it up to the festival rush. But it got worse when we picked up. We paid $32 for a pizza and asked if we could sit inside to eat it and there were plenty of available tables. We were told no -- inside is table service only, and takeout means you take it and eat elsewhere. Fine, except there was nowhere to sit outside at the festival. When we asked about using one of their own outdoor tables (they had roughly 30, and it was 11:15am, 45 minutes before the festival even started, so the tables were empty), we were told those were reserved for table-service customers only. This was after we'd already spent $32 in their restaurant. Regina's has been around for 100 years, but somewhere along the way they stopped caring about basic hospitality. Paying customers with nowhere to eat their food shouldn't be treated as an inconvenience. We won't be back.

While the kitchen delivered a solid meal, the service was so profoundly disappointing that it completely overshadowed the food. The culinary side of things easily earns a solid 3.5 out of 5 stars. We ordered a wide variety of items to share, and the highlights included: * The Pizzas: Creative flavor combinations with fresh, high-quality toppings and fantastic crusts. * The Bucatini Pasta: Perfectly cooked and packed with rich flavor. * The Asparagus Appetizer & The Chicken Milanese: Both executed well, flavorful, and cooked to a high standard. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience was uniformly horrible. For a large party, hospitality can make or break the night, and our server missed the mark at every single turn: * Argumentative & Dismissive: He actively argued with our host regarding an appetizer that had been ordered in advance. When asked about vegetarian substitutions for a sold-out pasta dish, he curtly replied, "Pasta with butter is all we can do"--despite the fact that we could clearly see a wide variety of fresh vegetables being used right on their pizzas. * Inattentive: Dirty dishes piled up on our table, and when we politely asked for them to be cleared, he claimed he needed to get help and walked away completely empty-handed. Our drink orders were rarely checked on or refilled. * Rude to Guests: He displayed visible attitude and put-off body language whenever anyone asked a simple question. This peaked when he was outright rude to one of the young women in our party who simply wanted to put her order in a bit early because she had to leave before the rest of the group. It is a real shame because the ingredients and the kitchen's output are genuinely good. However, between the hostile attitude and the lack of basic service standards, we unfortunately won't be rushing back.

Even though I was born and raised in the Boston area and have resided here for the entirety of my three decade long life, I've never had the original Santarpio's pizza until just now. I remember eating at their second location on Route 1 not long after it opened, but I thought it was just okay. Ever since then I've always thought to myself, "the original has gotta be better, right?" Well, my boyfriend and I finally made our way to the original Santarpio's on a Saturday a little after noon. The place isn't much to look at but was hopping for the weekend lunch rush with almost every table full, and we got put in what appeared to be one of the last available tables in the place. Our order was taken very quickly after sitting down. The menu is strictly pizza with around a dozen toppings to choose from and a handful of grilled meats. That's it. We ordered a pizza with garlic and hot peppers as well as a steak tip skewer. The steak tips were juicy and cooked nicely, but they tasted like they lacked seasoning or marinade so I had to sprinkle some salt and pepper on them. Of course, the pizza is what we were really there for and I can tell you that it checks all the boxes for a classic pizza. The crust is on the thinner, crispier side which I actually prefer. The pie as a whole had a great color and good flavor between the cheese, sauce and toppings. After experiencing it for myself, it's pretty easy to understand why Santarpio's is so highly regarded in the world of pizza. They stick to what they know and they execute it well.

My birthday was noted on the reservation, but there was no acknowledgment of it when I arrived. I'm not expecting a grand celebration, but for a place with such a classy, trendy, upscale reputation, I expected a warmer welcome and at least some acknowledgment of the occasion. To me, service and hospitality are a huge part of the dining experience, and that initial welcome just didn't set the tone I was hoping for on my birthday. A heads-up if you're driving: there isn't parking immediately nearby, so expect to walk a little. Also, pay attention once you're on the street because GPS can be a little misleading when trying to locate the entrance. Thankfully, our server, Alexia was great! She was very kind, sweet, and attentive. I actually had to tell her myself that it was my birthday, and once she knew, she did what was necessary to acknowledge it and make the occasion feel a little more special. I really appreciated her for that. The food was good as well. I didn't end up trying any of their cocktails, which is unusual for me, especially during a birthday dinner. By that point, the overall experience just hadn't put me in the celebratory mood I had expected when I chose Yvonne's for the occasion. Maybe my expectations were higher because this was somewhere I'd wanted to visit for so long, but hospitality matters to me, especially at an establishment like this. Amanda helped turn things around, and the food was good, but the overall experience still left me disappointed. Will I come back? I'm honestly unsure.
