Great little Italian place, very busy though so I'd recommend a reservation. They won't seat you unless your party is present, so make sure to be on time. I really enjoyed the pizzas, they were thin, crispy, and had nice chewy crusts. The presentation was good, and they can bring you honey and red pepper flakes if you'd like. The spaghetti and meatballs were actually pretty good too! Would come back again but more for the pizza.

Was in town on August 21, 2025 and was told to try Quattro. So glad I did. This place was hoppin!! Very busy place, very tight space with limited seating so make reservations. SERVICE: Super nice at the front. We did not have a reservation, but they saw we had the "we need pizza" look on our face so they quickly found us a spot at the bar. Raffaele, the pizza chef, was there and was super friendly and helpful. FOOD: We only tried one pizza (I think it was the Napoletana) did not have cheese, but the dough and sauce was outstanding. We added sausage and prosciutto....One of the best pies I've had in a long time. So glad I tried, you should too!!

What an amazing experience we had at Quattro in the North End. Our service was top notch, I love going to a restaurant where you can watch your food being prepared. We order the fried mozzarella and the margarita pizza. The fried mozzarella was delicious and the margarita pizza was the best pizza I have had in my life. If you are ever in the North End, you must try this place!

If you're looking for authentic Italian in Boston this is it! The location is very cozy; but the service is on point and the chef does an amazing job with preparing the food. The lobster Ravioli was so good and it was a nice size portion. The shrimp limoncello was a nice appetizer. Very fresh I would visit this location again.

Short rib pizza - heart shaped on Valentine's day!

My favorite date night spot in Boston! Food is all great but I think their pizza is the best. The service is so great here and you can't go wrong with anything. And one of the best espresso martinis i've had!

Waiter lost our ticket. Order came out an hour after we placed it. Pizza was ok--sauce. The crust too doughy. The ravioli was decent but not at the price I paid for the time I waited. Ambiance sucked because the only thing I saw was other tables receiving their food, eating, and leaving as I sat there like Micky the Idiot.

Very nice friendly ambiance , little loud but adds to the character . Food is great , delicious pizza crust , reasonably fast service . Give it a shot if you're looking for good pizza or pasta

Mama Mia....delizioso! We ordered two pizzas for three of us ---just a quick little meal with drinks for lunch. The service was incredible and the flavors of the pizza even better . The crust was just what you dream of in an Italian experience and everything was so fresh. My favorite of the two was the broccoli rabe but the Marguerita was close behind. The atmosphere was open and lively---with open windows for some air and people watching potential! It was a memorable meal and I would love to go bak but next time for a full course dinner or lunch!

    Baby octopus

We tried this restaurant during our visit to the North End. Overall, it was good and decent for the price. We started with the baby octopus -- the flavor was great! However, I expected tentacles rather than several small whole ones. That was my mistake, but if you're a fan of baby octopus, you'll probably enjoy it! The fig, arugula, and goat cheese salad was a solid choice. We added prosciutto, which was a nice touch. I feel like it really pulled the pizza together! The pasta dishes were okay. I ordered the cacio e pepe, and while I usually love this dish, the sauce here was much thicker and chunkier than I'm used to -- it lacked the creamy consistency that makes it comforting. The chicken parm was probably the best thing we ordered of the night -- classic, flavorful, and well done. Apps and pasta choices overall felt a bit average, and the service was great. Our server, Jhonathan, was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful with the menu -- big kudos to him! The ambiance is intimate and cozy, typical of North End spots, and perfect if you're looking for a quieter, smaller place to dine. Overall, this place is fine if you're looking to check "Italian in the North End" off your list, but I wouldn't call it a must-visit.

Great service! This place definitely gave the vibe of Italy! It was cramped and loud! Food was great, we just had simple appetizers and drinks!

    Grilled vegetables

Pizza was ok, the crust was the best part. What ruined my meal was paying $7.45 for just 6 slices of grilled vegetables.

The food was great. We ordered the gnocchi and the chicken chicken cacciatore. Both were excellent. The service was not so great. We waited 50 minutes for our food. And this was the loudest restaurant I've ever been in. It was a Saturday night so I expected it to be busy. But not a circus. Also, both the men's and the women's room were disgusting. We won't be back. I highly recommend this restaurant for takeout.

Small place - gets very crowded and it can be very loud. Evening was rainy - table that was seating next to us slightly moved one of the tall windows so the young lady didn't get wet and the manager/owner (seemed like) was a bit rude telling them not to touch the windows; could of have been said nicer - but perhaps the restaurant staff should of paid more attention to the weather.... Overall the food was pretty good, even-though we needed to wait a bit even after having reservations. Service was good based on our waiter.

Salty Pig Pizza: A pizza with the same name as the restaurant! Who was the genius who came up with the idea of salted pig and beer caramel? It's brilliant! The salted pork appears to include Prosciutto di Parma from Langirano, Prosciutto Cotto, and Salcissia. Baking rendered the prosciutto's fat, which blends with the caramel to create a beautiful golden syrup that flows across the pizza's surface. The prosciutto was savory, oily, and tender; the minced salcissia retains its coarse texture and rich meaty aroma; the caramel was sweet and mellow with a honey-like sweetness, forming the top, middle, and base notes respectively. The arugula was slightly warmed, losing its astringent and raw taste while maintaining its crisp texture, helped to cut through the richness together with the Parmesan cheese powder. The crust was crispy, while the inside the dough was soft and chewy. The cooking time and seasoning were all just right, and the restaurant's proud wooden oven added a charming smoky flavor. Affogato: I had high expectations, but it was just okay. The espresso was too sour, and the vanilla ice cream couldn't balance it out. The almond biscuits had an overpowering almond flavor, and the flavor of plant-based protein was terrible! (Oh, this should have been a plus...)

The linguine was on the smaller side portion-wise, but it came loaded with mussels and shrimp. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had a nice tangy, flavorful profile that really stood out. The Salsiccia pizza was good--plenty of toppings for its size and a well-balanced amount of cheese and sauce. What kept it from being great, if I'm being a bit hyper critical, was the crust. It leaned too doughy and lacked the crispness and airy texture you'd expect; the closest comparison I can think of is something like an Olive Garden breadstick. Service was okay--nothing particularly impressionable--but the ambience made up for it. The space felt warm, trendy, and like the perfect spot for a casual dinner. Overall, a solid spot with well-executed dishes, especially the pasta, and a pizza that's definitely enjoyable with just a small detail holding it back from the next level.

They only sell whole pies, which at first seemed annoying (the first time I tried coming here a few years ago I was by myself and couldn't eat a whole pizza alone) so I had to make this my inaugural tasting). But I see that as ensuring you are only eating a fresh product, where all the ingredients cook into each other and come out hot and ready, instead or something reheated from four hours ago because the day was slow. The menu is simple: pizzas and meat skewers. They know what they do well and lean into it hard.
