Honestly one of my favorite restaurants in The North End. This is the perfect place to go if you want a quality Italian lunch/dinner at a good price point. Every time I've been the food has been great. The pizzas are a good size to split between two people, with another side or salad. The best thing to do is ask about their specials because they are always excellent. My only concern would be that it is tightly packed in the restaurant, but not a big deal. read more

After about a half hour, she came out and told me my table was ready. I said "Okay, my friends are down the block they'll be here in 1 minute". Tell me how within that 90 second interval she gave the table away... TLDR: Okay-salty food, and discriminatory service. We got a reservation for 10 at 6:15pm and they asked us to wait five more minutes since a party is about to leave. This five minutes turned into waiting just under an hour before we got our table. We do understand we're a big group of 10 and it's a small restaurant, and they're tryna make it work, so we patiently understood and waited outside their door in the 30 degree cold weather. The group before us was also a large group and they sat in there for quite a while just chilling and the servers basically let them take their sweet time. Again, which is fine, until the discriminatory part below. Additionally, it was one of our friend's birthday, and we saw the table next to us got served a birthday cake and the servers sang for them, which was sweet. We also told them it's one of our friend's birthday. Our server was nice and originally said no problem they can do it. Later, the server apologetically told us their manager actually said no to doing the birthday song and cake for us, and that we're taking up too many of their seats and "encouraged" us to leave by telling us they're gonna give us our check soon since they got other folks waiting on us. That seemed super unfair to us, because we also ended up waiting for about an hour due to the big group before us, even though we had a reservation. We clearly noticed the group before us taking their sweet time as we checked in with the front server twice, but we still waited patiently in the cold outside. And we were in the restaurant for not even an hour (7:05-8pm). We didn't want to make folks wait long either which is why we tried eating super fast after they served the food, but we just wanted a nice and quick birthday thing for our friend equally as much as other folks received. They didn't have a problem serving the folks next to us. But we're basically being rushed out. We noticed we were the only Asian Americans in the restaurant and the manager would walk around seemingly checking in on other folks but didn't even talk or look at us. We felt the overall experience was pretty discriminatory and the fact they said they could do one thing then changed their mind on us specifically was quite apparent and clear. Food wise, everything looked good but was pretty salty -- all of us drank lots of water near the end of the meal and after. Pizzas were overhyped. I would say the pastas were good if I had to choose between their pizza and pasta. I liked the mushroom truffle risotto (their week's special). Overall, due to this unfortunate discriminatory experience, I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

Went to Quattro for Restaurant week! We made a reservation around 12pm and it wasn't too crowded but I'd definitely recommend making a reservation just in case! While our overall experience was enjoyable, I feel like more attention could have been given to our table. Our waiter seemed a bit dismissive and rushed in his responses, and wasn't very present during our meal. The food was very yummy and the portions were pretty large! Stopped by at the bar for a late dinner with a friend on a Saturday and they were one of the few places that still had their kitchen open at around 10PM. Got the pistachio martini (pictured here) and split a stagioni pizza. Pizza was lights out (second time here, second pizza ordered) and the pistachio martini was good (I haven't had enough of those to tell if it was really good). I have to say, the north end gets extremely crowded on Saturday nights. I been to the north end many times, and this particular night, I never experienced it so busy. I went to practically every restaurant in the north end, and every place required a "reservation." Most of these places didn't even give a time or day to even check if there were any cancelled reservations to serve us. Happy to say, this place did, and I'm so glad. The food was great! However, the two parties on both ends of us, who arrived 5-10 minutes after us, received full service before we did. The menu had very minimal descriptions for those not familiar with the options. We asked the waiter for some explanations of listed items and got little to no explanation, as if we were expected to know? Terrible. Really, probably the worst meal I've ever had in Boston and I visit Boston a lot. We had high hopes because we enjoy going to the North End for Italian and this place is one of several owned by a certain individual I don't remember the name of. I had the chicken parm which was tough, dry chicken smothered with tomato sauce and covered by cheese. It came with some pasta on the side but that didn't help. Others had the lobster ravioli which was way too salty. Service was equally terrible. Our server never came back to check on us once. After we finished one of the servers noticed none of us had any water so she said she'll be right back with some water. Never saw her again. It took a long time to get the check and to get our card back. Not a happy place. Servers just did not look happy working there. The place is festive though. Beautiful restaurant with an amazing staff. Nice vibes for date night. I sat at the bar and had the espresso martini ($18 wow) and the cacio e pepe (Spaghetti with black pepper). The drink was tasty, but definitely over priced. And the food, left much to be desired. There was little to no flavor in the dish. I ate as much as I could and then boxed the rest. Disappointing Service, Mediocre food The food here was just okay, expected more for the hype, but the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were being rushed. Our server only checked on us once, and when I looked up to ask a question, she had already walked away. What made it worse was that she seemed to go out of her way to cater to the table next to us, who happened to be speaking another language. Ironically, after we got up to find our server and asked for the check in another language, she suddenly became more attentive and tried to cater to us. It left us feeling diminished and unimportant up until that moment. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed the meal. Would not recommend this place. They have Peroni on draft which is a traditional Italian beer that is light, crisp and perfect after a hot summer day walking the freedom trail . The lasagna was an excellent choice for dinner . Made a reservation for Christmas dinner for myself and a friend. This is part of a larger restaurant Group that includes Umbria which I patronized for the Thanksgiving holiday. I love Italian so why not try another one of their restaurants. We were pleasantly greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. I will say this is a smaller, quaint location so the tables are kind of close in proximity to one another throughout the restaurant. All of the staff appeared very attentive but I will say they were bumping into one another at times when delivering drinks and food. There is an abundant wine selection and I didn't know what to go with, so I simply chose the first Cabernet on the menu list which was great! Service was okay, it felt a little rushed at times which could have been due to the holiday rush. I went with the lobster ravioli and my friend chose an alfredo type dish. Not much lobster in the ravioli but it was tasty and I did enjoy the flavor of it. The fried mozzarella is cooked within this soft buttery bread, which was actually pretty tasty as well. My friends Alfredo was just okay, not something we'd order again. I probably would return on a weekday to check out their pizza as this is primarily what they are known for. read more

We love the food and service in the restaurant and also pizza delivery but when delivery is by bike or scooter it comes cold. I understand this is done by the service but in the end it's a bad experience with no recourse. Perhaps don't let bike/scooters deliver without a bag to keep pizza hot.
