Aug 28th, 2026 I placed an order for a monthly meal plan totaling $329.38. Aug 31, 2026 I received…read morean email stating that the merchant is canceling my order because I was outside of their delivery zone. I called merchant to make sure everything was okay. The person that answered the phone confirmed that I was outside of their delivery zone,they could not accommodate that right now, and they would refund my order. I asked how long and they told me 7-14 business days. After 14 business days, I still had not received my refund. I called my bank to see whether a refund or credit had been initiated, and my bank said that there was nothing visible. It is now Sept 14, 2026, So I file a dispute with my bank just to be safe, but I also call the merchant back. The person that answers the phone tells me that they're going to call me back but I never received a call back. September 21, the merchant contacts me back and told me that there was an error with issuing my refund, that they were working on it, and that they would process my refund no later than Sept 28,2026. On Sept 28, 2026 I received a message and an email stating that my refund had been processed. The message stated September 28, 2026 at 10:27 AM. About seven business days later we are now at October 7,2026. I called my bank, and still nothing from the merchant. At this point, I am more than a month out from my original order. So I called the merchant again today October 7, 2026. The merchant told me on the phone today that because I filed a dispute, it will take longer to get my refund.How is that so? If the merchant actually has initiated the refund, that has nothing to do with the dispute I filed. My bank would see that the refund was there. I truly believe this merchant is trying to scam me out of $329.38. My bank is still waiting for the merchant to respond to the bank, so apparently the merchant is refusing to respond to my bank.
