Chicken was super fresh and crispy yet not overcooked. - wrap was HUGE! Had a lunch catered by them and the food was incredible. Had to get a second and third plate. The meats were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and everything that accompanied them was incredible as well. They arrived on time and were easy to work with. My son and I had a hankering for some Chicken Shawarma, and when the Shawarma calls, you answer. We searched for some Mediterranean spots near us in Arlington, and the closest one we hadn't tried yet was Noor, which is just outside of Davis Square. I placed our order on their website, and we headed over to pick up. Parking is tricky, but not as difficult as in Davis Square. It looked like there were a few small tables inside the tiny restaurant. It seems like they do a solid take-out business based on the number of people picking up brown paper bags at the same time as us. My son fully enjoyed his chicken shawarma sandwich with tahini, and I got the combo kebab dinner plate. I subbed fattoush for the salad, and I got all three sauces. The fattoush pita was fried (nice crunch, but greasy), and it was not heavily spiced, so not the best I've ever had, but not terrible. I did not care for the garlic sauce; the tahini sauce was basic, but the babaganoush had an incredible smokiness to it. Both the chicken and beef kabobs were juicy and flavorful, but I did not love the lale kebab. The prices were great, and I was able to get two meals out of my dinner plate. I was a bit disappointed with my lunch order from Noor. We were offered a limited menu since the ordering was done through Relish. I had high expectations ordering a salad from a Mediterranean restaurant but was disappointed. The ingredients didn't seem fresh at all - some of the lettuce was brown. They barely gave me any chicken on my salad and no side pita. I did order a side of rice, which was good. I would try other items on the menu like the chicken shawarma before writing this place off. First time leaving a review without even having been there! This menu popped on the Wonder app and I made an order for the family. After I paid for it, I got a text about picking up in Somerville! I don't know how that happened on the Wonder app (we're in Newton), but the customer service at Wonder was no help. Glad I found the Noor phone number and called. We had baba ganoush and the chicken schwarma wraps with garlic sauce and tahini and everything was DELICIOUS. The baba ganoush was smoky and so lucious and the perfect accompaniment to the warm pita they served it with. The schwarmas were incredibly flavorful, filling and the perfect savory meal. The garlic sauce was garlicky, but not overpowering. The tahini was delish and chicken was delectable!! It was a cozy atmosphere to enjoy our dinner. We will definitely be back!! read more

First things first. Upon entering the restaurant you are immediately taken by how beautiful it is. You are greeted immediately upon entering by a gracious hostess. And then we met our waiter, Marcial, who was exceptional and extremely informative about the menu and helped us with our selections. Without even asking, he kept bringing us beverage refills. This spot has great value for its price! The dinner plates ($12-19) have enough food to be split into two meals. For the dinner plates, you choose between rice or fries. You choose a side of hummus, garlic sauce, tahini, or baba dip. We tried the beef shawerma plate ($14.99) and upgraded the salad for fattoush for an extra $1. We also got the lule kebab plate ($15.49). I thought the fries and rice were okay but not particularly mind-blowing. The fries lacked a bit of seasoning. The meats were seasoned very well but I found the shawarma to be a little dry. I highly recommend getting the garlic sauce because it went well with everything. Stopped by for a falafel. Immediately the gentleman working was very friendly and patient. Within five minutes I received my food. Definitely a different experience than other middle eastern restaurants where you watch them prepare the wraps. No matter, the falafel itself was delicious and large. Overall I would say it's above average, and they weren't stingy with the falafel nor toppings. A review however cannot just be about food. The seating was limited due to takeout containers everywhere and a vacuum tucked away. Had a great delivery experience from Noor the other day. These days it's hard for me to be able to go out and dine in so I really appreciate restaurants like Noor really getting the delivery set up so efficiently. Everything was well packaged and they had the food ready way before original estimate. The falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wrap were both really excellent. I think they really cooked the falafel and the rotisserie chicken so well it's becoming one my favorite places. I've tried quite a few similar restaurants in the area and I think Noor comes out on top in terms of quality and the value. With Falafel Place (my go-to for shawarma) temporarily closed for renovations, I opted for delivery from Noor. I was not disappointed! The chicken shawarma platter was generous - great chicken, pickled vegetables, good rice - and I was able to make two delicious meals out of it. The garlic sauce is a must-have with it. It's light and garlicky and would probably go well on everything you could possibly put it on. I decided to supplement this with one order of kibbeh. It was a tiny little parcel of delicious flavors. The ground beef and spices were terrific, and I could eat one of them every day for the rest of my life. we've ordered delivery from Noor several times. Food is generally yummy and it is certainly plentiful - enough so to provide lunch the next day. However, be warned that if you order towards the end of the evening, the tabbouleh (couscous salad) will consist mostly in lemon juice and onion - whatever is left at the bottom of bin, I guess. Delivery speed is average (~60 mins). I didn't care for their dolma, but that may be just me! read more

Don't go here- the food was not good. I ordered the fattoush salad with chicken shawarma and it tasted like they just dumped some shreds of extra dry rotisserie chicken on my salad. Arsen has twice delivered individually packaged meals for our hard-working staff at the Armenian Nursing & Rehab Center. And what a treat it has been! The beef and chicken kebab taste like Grandma's, at church bazaar or picnic! So very flavorful as was the rice pilaf, pickles, fabulous hummus and crisp salad. I came down the hill for lunch a few weeks ago, after a friend had suggested Noor. It was perfectly fine for lunch, but honestly, nothing impressive. Their menu is pretty large, and does offer many vegetarian options. I went with the falafel gyro, which I felt was a little overpriced considering that it was just a sandwich with no sides or drink, etc. It was very good, but a bit underwhelming. As far as a quick lunch goes, this place is good enough. Would I go out of my way to eat here? Probably not. read more
