I can't say enough about Marty at the Medford Bertucci's! We had an important business meeting starting at 11:00 AM and needed our catering delivered on time. Unfortunately, DoorDash wasn't able to accommodate our delivery needs, and we were worried we'd be left scrambling at the last minute. Marty stepped in without hesitation, made it happen, and truly saved the day. The pizza was ok, the service was great but the ambience was ok. The facility is somewhat run down to what I remember from years ago. We brought our grandsons who eat the pizza enthusiastically and lived the chocolate chip cookie sundae. We would not return. Not as good as it was years ago when we brought our kids. read more

The pizza was way too much cheese and the garlic knots didn't have any garlic in their knots. The bread and olive oil was good and the brownie sundae was also good. Please improve your pizza and put garlic in the knots. Ever time I come here the pizza is different. I guess it depends on who is making it. So shape up!!! read more

I wish my review was based on the food because it as decent. We go to Bertucci's when we want a quick casual meal and while I haven't had any complaints before (other than one time they had no heat) today was sadly different. I was there with my son and younger sister. When we arrived the waitress asked where we wanted to sit. She quickly remembered that a certain area wasn't available but it turned out to be fine. She was exceedingly apologetic, and very kind. Our actual server was very nice and we had no issue ordering our meals. The waitress who sat us began cleaning a table while a customer who was gathering his things. The Manager questioned and humiliated her in front of customers and other staff. Again, she was exceedingly apologetic. When she had left the Manager asked the customer "did she sweep your shoes" followed by curse words and other negative comments about the waitress. It was incredibly unprofessional and uncalled for. To demean any employee, especially in front of customers is disgusting behavior. I do plan on calling at a time when another manager is on duty to report these concerns. No one should be treated this way, ever. read more

The food was great! We had the best waitress. Her name was Gianna. She allowed us to move tables. She was always on point. Very friendly, very professional always smiling and serving us was no problem at all. No matter what we asked for there was five of us she served us with a smile. We need more wait staff like that. There was a problem with one of the orders and even though we said it's was no problem she still told the manager. Now the manager whose name is Marty came out. He was funny and friendly. He talk with us. Had a few laughs and the he took the order off the bill. We said no we ate it, but he insisted. Now that's what I call A-1 service. read more

The stars in this review are for all of the employees who are and have been literally holding up the pillars of this location to keep it operating at all, especially the bar side. To the decision makers, please have some mercy and consideration for those employees, and please either give the place what it needs or close the doors. The bar literally has no stock, like almost zero, so sadly, we expect to hear some very sad news any day. Food is so bland I'd rather eat dirt and maggots as Alfredo, pasta is watered down and the water tastes like it came straight from my toilet and the drinks were also bland, which I don't even know how that's possible, don't come here with big groups because it's a total waste, the only reason I ate the Alfredo is because I added half the container of pepper and the free butter that came with the table. read more

I've been to many Bertucci's in my life for over 3 decades and have been at the Medford location the most. The rolls and oil are wonderful, and the pizza and entrees are generally good. During my last time at this location, on a Saturday afternoon, we were a group of 4. Even though the restaurant was not that busy, the waitress was rather short with us and seemed annoyed when we asked questions about menu items. We'd ask a question, she'd answer and then immediately leave without giving us time to follow up with a response or to order. It was disappointing. read more

My husband Joe and I went to the Medford, MA location for a drink and a quick bite to eat. We sat at the bar and was quickly approached with menus and friendly greeting, by the Manager Stephen. We placed our drink and appetizer order with him and had a great conversation while waiting for our salad and chicken wings to come out. Chicken wings were the best and cooked to a crispy finish. We placed our pizza order and were happy with our choice of toppings. Atmosphere was great while watching a basketball game and chatting with nice couple seated next to us. We always went to the Reading Bertucci's, especially on Tuesdays when they had the two pizzas for one. Unfortunately they closed the Reading restaurant. So we went to the only open Bertucci's fairly close in Medford. We do not understand why people do not patronize the Bertucci's chain. The pizzas are great and the food is as well. Medford could use some refreshing as the table tops are worn and the menus need redoing. However we found the wait staff very friendly and the pizza was as good as always. They closed the Peabody, Woburn and now the Reading location because I don't think people understand what they are missing, particularly on their Two for Tuesday special. read more

I had an unfortunate experience at Bertucci's Medford today. During our lunch, our server interrupted us by cleaning the table with her bare hands while we were still eating, almost causing dirt to land on our plates. It was clear that she did not enjoy her job, and her attitude was evident in her interactions with us. When it was time to bring the cheque, she chose to just leave the bill on our table without the accompanying bill holder to add our cards. Her overall behavior and body language was not only insulting towards us, but it was clearly visible from her interaction with us that she was the least interested in serving us. I understand that everyone has off days, but the lack of professionalism and hygiene was concerning. I ordered a classic Margherita Pizza and there was nothing classic about it. instead of having round pieces of tomatoes on the cheese base, it was made with some very bad quality tomato sauce with no evidence of cheese used and it was all soggy and inedible. I just figured that out in two bites and didn't have the pizza. The server asked if I would like to take it home and when I refused she did not bother to check if there was anything wrong with the pizza or if the food was ok. I would not recommend Bertucci's classic Margherita Pizza to anyone if they are trying to have a good pizza experience. I hope the management addresses these issues to ensure a better dining experience for future guests. Thank you for reading. read more

Bertucci's Italian Restaurant, conveniently located next Cambridge District Court (yes civic duty!), was honestly so disappointing. We got the mac and cheese and an order of 5 meatballs. To start, the meatballs took over half an hour to come out. I was the last to get my food and honestly was so hungry I ate it before I could take a pic (phone does NOT eat first). It also took forever to bring the salad out for another person in the party (wishes to remain anonymous as the Cambridge District Court is conveniently located next door). The mac and cheese looked so cute (pictured below), but it should honestly be taken to Cambridge District Court for fraud. It tasted exclusively like butter. Looks can be deceiving. Other than that staff was great! Just wish they had better food to serve me. Lol. read more

Came here late on a Friday night and our waitress welcomed us with a big smile and was happy to seat us. This spot is very spacious and can handle a high volume night. Bar on the opposite end if you want some TV's. Ordered a pizza and it was delicious - don't know why we haven't ordered here before. They have a parking lot. The only downside is the menus and tables felt a little sticky. Definitely would recommend to support! read more
